Hi guys!
There is screen burn-in of status bar of my RN3 and I am on Resurrection Remix build and I am using this ROM for a long time.
Does anyone having screen burn-in of status bar on this ROM? Does this ROM is responsible for screen burn as I am not getting screen burn-in of MIUI ROM's status bar.
I think it is at primary stage and can it be fixed? I am using my RN3 from 1.5 years.
Please help me guys!
LCD burn-in? You need to use your phone less On a serious note: there are apps you can try to correct i believe. Also you could buy and install a new screen if you can't live with it.

Hey guys,
I've done my homework and searched for similar topics as these but so far none came close to my solution (correct me if otherwise). Recently I flashed to this ROM
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1561705
from a stock ROM. Have done it a few times before and no problems have occurred. It's an MIUI rom and I decided to customize the theme a little. The themes section allows to change most of the detail ie fonts, status bar, home screen, lock screen, icons, boot animation.
And that's where it started, when I changed the boot animation, instead of using the default one. When I did a reboot after the switch, the usual boot logo was up, but then the screen turned pixelated like a CRT monitor/damaged LCD screen with colourful pixels. But then in boot into the new animation all fine, and has been ok since. The device boots fine, but I'm worried about that pixelated screen.
Is there anyway to fix this?
Please kindly advise Thanks!
anyone have any idea? x.x
You said it's been okay since? I wouldn't worry about it then. If you can't reproduce it, its not an issue.

Hey guys, I got my phone last Saturday and have been playing around with it ever since.
I noticed that I had the night clock bug (whole screen is lit up) and as far as I know it's already a confirmed software bug. What I also noticed though was that my lock screen is also lit up. I'm using a pure black wallpaper which works well when the phone is unlocked (appears pure black) but the black is lit up when the lock screen is shown. It's almost like there's backlight bleeding. In the home screen and lock screen preview though it shows that it should be pure black
Here are screenshots of the "bug". I'm actually thinking it's a software bug since it was captured by the screenshot. http://imgur.com/a/p5maP (Take note the the blacks on the first image is different from the other 3)
Was wondering if this bug is related to the night clock bug or a defect with my unit.
If anyone is willing to help, kindly try changing your wallpaper to a solid black color and check if the blacks on the home screen and lock screen is different.
Thanks! (I have 4 days left until I won't be abe to replace my unit so I'm trying to make sure everything's good)

They're referring to the Night Clock alone. I have that problem as well as a lockscreen problem. Haven't seen anyone reporting if they have the lock screen problem so I'm trying to figure out if it's a software glitch or a bug with my unit.
Basically the lock screen preview when applying a new wallpaper shows that the lock screen should have super amoled blacks but when I lock the phone the black is lit up.

If there's any consolation I experienced this very problem. Were you using fingerprint to unlock? I hadn't seen it because I had swipe to unlock.
I still haven't figured out how to fix it.

That's normal. This happens because the lock screen puts a slight filter on your wallpaper. It de-saturates the image. You can try with a solid red color, it might be easier to see.

Not, really. This only happens when you have Fingerprints/Pattern set up as your Screen lock type.
If you set it to Swipe, with the water droplet effect, there's no "filter."
Someone found kind of a solution to this, but it didn't work for me: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...t-rid-dark-filter-lock-screen-wallpapers.html

Yeah it's clearly a bug, but OP thought it might be a defect of his phone. I was just reassuring OP that the problem exists in my phone as well. Thanks for that link. I did try the solution they proposed but it didn't work for me either...
Solution not working...plz another fix?
I have the same bug on my Galaxy J5 (super amoled), I use pin to unlock it. It is pretty annoying. I use the same black picture for both lock screen and background pic, and after unlocking the phone, black backlight turns off. Swipe to unlock solves the problem, but I have to take one of the disadvantages : either backlight or not locked phone.
Download "klwp live wallpaper maker" from playstore and make a all black wallpaper . Save it go to settings ---> background/wallpaper, set KLWP as lockscreen and wallpaper/background.
Not solved? are u using xposed? if so, download Bright Lockscreen and see if this helps.
Hi guys today i noticed that my screen is burned ( classic problem of amoled screen) in the status bar so when i rotate the screen i get a band equivalent to the status bar where i can see wifi signal etc burned onto screen. Someone know some solution without going via warranty?

That is because the statusbar is almost always showing black(meaning screen is not being used) while the other parts start degrading. I had that on my galaxy s2. It's easily fixable. Just download amoled burn in fixer from play store and put the brightness on max and set it to show only the statusbar. It will burn the statusbar and make it degrade to match the rest of the screen that suffered degradation from being used. It worked perfectly for my s2. Don't be afraid to let it show only the statusbar for several hours. I think in total I left my s2 like 24 hours with that app(with intervals to check progress in the burn in)
Having a bit of a problem since yesterday, all of a sudden the colours on my Swift 2+ have gone really, really dark and on the lock screen I can see shadows/burnt images of the status bar and nav bar almost like overlapping my screen? I thought maybe it was something to do with a theme I installed, so I uninstalled all of them to no avail, so then I thought I'd do a factory reset on my device, still hasn't fixed it... Is this to do with the hardware itself or is it a software issue? Thank you in advance for any help
That happened to me a few times on my swift 2+ but it went away after I restarted the device and it hasn't happened to me since I updated it to the latest software. Also, I think the faded nav bar is something that's part of the software and not screen burn because it's not there when the device is turning on or when it's in the bootloader

Can you share an screen shot???
What you mean by it presents every where???(you mean that you see the kernel logo???)
I can't take a screenshot of this because it doesn't appear on it.
I see the logo sony blink in the same place that you can see at the start of the phone.
It is not very clear but it makes a little blink a part of the screen

Can you shot a photo of it with another device?
As i think thats pretty normal bootloop. Just flash stock via flashtool and wipe everything.
