Go to Fastboot ,
fastboot erase cache
fastboot 3.0.2.0 again

Hi guys, I am a bit lost[emoji16] [emoji35] [emoji33] ...
I usually root HTC phones without problem...
This time I unlocked the nexus 9 boot loader, OK, I flashed the last twrp recovery via fastboot on my pc....
Then the phone entered in twrp recovery...I installed supersu with twrp, flashed elemental x via twrp....
Okayyyy.....
The tablet rebooted normally and functions normally but I can't enter in twrp recovery directly via the tablet on hboot menu...
Have I missed something? Do I have, with nexus, to ALWAYS connect the device to the pc to enter in recovery and try or modify kernels?

Tested only in Xperia M4 Aqua E2303 with firmware 26.3.A.1.33.
Root/ SuperSU 2.78
1. download this boot.img: http://www39.zippyshare.com/v/smp1HMAj/file.html
2. Copy into the adb folder.
3. Boot into fastboot mode, then type in adb shell:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash boot boot.img
TWRP v3.0.2.0
1. Download this recovery.img:http://www82.zippyshare.com/v/xHcjnORE/file.html

2. Copy into the adb folder.
3. Boot into fastboot mode, then type in adb shell:
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Unplug and rboot your device.
Now you have ROOT with SuperSU 2.78 with TWRP Recovery
P.S: you need UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER
I modded and repacked my "boot.img" file using this tutorial:http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-z5/development/root-automatic-repack-stock-kernel-dm-t3301605
Greetings
ENJOY!!
Great job!
Just done it and no bug seems to appear!
Thanks

Hello,
To boot into recovery mode :
1) Power off your phone
2) Power on your phone using power button + volume down button at the same time, until you see the "SONY" logo.
Then release both and wait until recovery loads.

Thanks!
sorry for my english
Hi,
thanks for the work, i unlock my phone and then i flash boot.img -> a can get access to root.
i'v installed TWRP, but i think it's too many options for me, reflash boot.img.
Jarix, for root, you only need to flash boot.img
regards
Please, boot for e2306? Thanks
Works Great for my AT E2303 with my 26.3.A.1.33 , Thank you
@madsin the recovery is mine lol
Hello, i have HTC Desire 610 A3_TL and i tried to install trwp and i think i installed the wrong one because once i have installed it, it rebooted back to fastboot and now when i try and enter recovery mode or even reboot the phone it goes straight back into fastboot. And i was stupidly not to make a backup before i started. i hope someone can help me.
Also it says for me
***TAMPERED***
***UNLOCKED***
A3_TL PVT SHIP S-ON
HBOOT-3.18.0.0000
RADIO-1.101.1161.16.24
OS-1.35.1400.1
And has the date of Jul 3 2014,
also i may have installed a Developer Rom as it says this Build for developer use only.
Thanks
Power off, charging 1% you try into fastboot , ok connect with PC , and flash TWRP again . Reboot twrp flash ROM and Gapps . Reboot !
( You download twrp recomment 2.8.7 , Rom CM 12.1 and Gapps , put in SD card )

I have same problem as xAnzeh. When I try to flast twrp it goes sucessfully but when booting to recovery it goes back to fastboot. How to check what is problem? I cannot flash with original RUU because boot loader is unlocked and when locking it, it is giving me error as in picture. Please advise.
I think the title speaks for itself but here's the story
I recently flashed the Oreo kdz on my h850, so I lost TWRP and Magisk, but I cannot live without root access. Since my phone's volume down button is not working, is there any way I can install TWRP? Using adb and fastboot commands I can flash it, but if I boot into the system the recovery will be overwritten, so I really have to boot to the recovery.
Any ideas?
(EDIT: nevermind, I forgot that recovery is overwritten first boot without root. How about "fastboot boot recovery xxxx.img"?
This will boot temporarily into twrp where you can root device and flash twrp permanently )
Enable adb in developer option, and using a computer type
"adb reboot bootloader"
And then flash twrp
"fastboot flash recovery xxxxx.img"
Then boot into the os and type "adb reboot recovery" to enter twrp

Hello to all
I've tried this recovery:
https://os.revtechs.me/revolutionos-recovery/
It seems to work perfectly, even with pin and fingerprint. It's not asking for a password like the other recoverys, but data is completely usable.
Looks interesting.. can replace current twrp without formatting data and having to reinstall ROM?

Recovery is recovery.img not boot.img
I tried ROS recovery when it was released but it couldn't decrypt the data on my MI 9 so I ended up switching back to the siankatabg version of TWRP. There hasn't been a new build of ROS TWRP since the first one so I'm not sure why it's apparently working OK for you when it didn't for me.
Did you install from a different version of TWRP or by using fastboot on a computer?
Were fingerprints or pin already enabled before you installed ROS TWRP or did you add them after flashing the recovery?

You can't boot an image on Mi9.
The only way is to flash it.
Fastboot flash recovery *name of recovery*.img

1. Flash recovery with fastboot.
2. Press volume up and power button to boot directly into TWRP. Don't let the system reboot itself.

Yes, do that. This method works, was also confirmed by other people
