I tried miui 8,9, global, ita, and now i'm in AIM rom with these bugs:
Radio FM
Hdr
download offline languages files
Smart lock -> trusted face.
Which rom is the best and with no no no bugs?
I have tried more of them and completely bugless is no one.

mmmmh,
i'm in aim rom since 1 month: good rom, but no hdr, no fm radio, sometimes it doesn't wake up by alarm (i find it in "start android"...?!!?).
i think i'll return to miui 9 (miui.it)

Had AIM installed for a while too and in the ruck it belongs to those worse.
Try RR, crDroid or Lineage. I consider the three the best for Redmi at present. Each suffers with some own weaknesses, tho.

Lineage 14 or 15?
And RR, crDroid or Lineage: both of them has fm radio and wake up (turn on automatically at alarm time) full working? which bugs you had noticed?
I'm using AIM ROM now.
I tried AIM rom for 2 months and it is a good rom but these are bugs that male me turn back to miui9.it

I use the 10/09 build and unistall the Magisk to work with no bugs

Hi. On every 7.0/7.1 ROM i have lot of problems with camera. I know the situation with source from Xiaomi but is there really no good rom where everything works fine? After trying seven roms with 7.1 i must again go back to CM 13.
What roms do you use?
I don't know if I'm biased or not, but I use minz1's LineageOS ROM.

Try to use Google camera. It minimise problems, but the well known ones (like flash out of sync ecc) still like in all nougat roms

I'm using Slim7 official and camera works fine 95% of the time. Flash also works most of the time and video recording is fine as well. Just use Google Camera and it'll be fine. I'm on MIUI firmware, as I haven't flashed any other firmware.

AOSP 7.1.2 Rom are great for some like ur Dad want. But Latest Epic Miui 8 Rom are maybe more Stock Rom.
But i do not many Photo´s with my Phone so lets see what the other user are using.

Lineage os, aex, Resurrection remix all are stable for daily usage. They all support hdr+ and other manual cameras. Lineage is very close to stock while others are based on lineage and offer lot of customization.
Resurrection Remix 7.1.2 Final ... very stable. Everything works

I'm using RR 5.8.5 final build. Extremely stable. I also use the Google Camera with HDR+. Works great.

Bro, using ROMs like RR will keep your dad confused as it has lot of customizations, use rom which is close to stock.
I will recommend pa 7.3.

is hdr+ working on pa roms...i see rr rom is currently most active....what about regular security updates bro ??

Pa 7.3 also has krack fixed, oct security patch and hdr+ working.
And battery efficient and smooth.

Go for aosp roms as RR has a lot of customizations.. However it depends on u what u want to use..
Can you provide sir the link in PA 7.30 latest one sir
Lineage OS is the best cuz google hdr+ works & easy to use with built-in updater, RR requires us to update manually

yeah bro..applied for official....got permission..i think i have to wait for 72hours or more...as still mi unlock software doesnt show my device supported

It depends on the reason you are looking for to switch. Do you want really want oreo features? Official lineage os is quite stable, frequently updated
Rr has few bugs, but has custom features.
Lineage OS 15.1 is official.
First build will be shipped either Monday or Tuesday.

I noticed that in Lineage 14.1, the fingerprint scanner is a lot slower than stock rom, its still working but not the same as the stock rom, is this an issue for every custom rom? Also, it doesn't say if the battery is quick charging, and theres no option if its on/off, does this happens on RR?

You can set quick charging status on yhe lockscrren or status bar on rr. Cant say about fingerprint cause i dont use it

I reinstalled the ROM and used different GApps, this time Full instead of Stock, the camera is not the google camera but its working well
In my view
I think RR rom is the best rom for customisation at all. But I tried some Oreo rom and I found them a little bit unstable. Another thing that I hate is the presence of some bugs. I will move to Oreo only when all will run perfectly

check this out miui10 for kenzo everything works really good with smooth ui. Just change dpi to 400 it looks too zoomed in otherwise.

Already tested bro there are some bugs like camera, fingerprint sensor and volte so switched back to official miui

I tested now. Camera works perfectly, super smooth ... but:
- 4G LTE doens't work (in build 08/07 by WuFeng works) - Brazil - It works after reboot.
- Fingerprint doesn't work properly, unlock after 2s at 3s when screen's lock on. (in build 08/07 by WuFeng 4s to 5s)
- App Lock by MIUI doesn't work with fingerprint. (in build 08/07 by WuFeng too doesn't work)

Untill now there's lot of development for our mojito/sunny but im looking for something that can be suggested easily a daily drivable. Ps: I dont change rom i just flash once and stay with that, so having the ota update functionality will also help.
All Current ROMs are Stable
If you want a recomendation... PixelOS , Pixel Experience and crDroid are the most stable (in my humble opinion)

I think crdroid 7.x is the most stable in terms of speed & battery for mojito. But, unfortunately developer probably abandoned it, due to the publish of crdroid 8.x..

WARNING: pixel experience 11 is stale, but pixel experience 12 is NOT. LOADS of bugs in PE12, go for pixel OS
I have tested almost all of them. The most stable is cDroid.
With most of the others, the video recording did not work properly.
What they all can't do, and what I sorely miss, is notification of missed calls or messages.

I currently have "Xiami.eu rom 13.05 global" installed.
But...
- there is still the bug with AA (after a call no more audio via car speakers)
- sometimes it´s very laggy (e.g. using the app "komoot")
At the other hand, the stock camera is working very well und takes really good photos.
My favourites custom roms are Pixel OS and Crdroid8, but I think the cameras aren't nearly as good or fully working,
I think, first i ´ll try Pixel OS
