Hello i have a question: Phone with erased IMEI. Going to phone data folder, nothing inside.
Question is:
1) I have the IMEI numbers of the phone
2) Don't have a backup
3) Having an official rom to flash
There is a way to flash the imei information with the ROM flashing?
I know the way with mobileuncle tool click on cdf...radio ecc...i would like to know if there is a way to create something or modify the rom file for inserting the imei information while flashing
Hello everyone. I have a second redmi note 3 that I was setting up and during the unlock I bricked the phone. It has since been unbricked and the bootloader unlocked properly. The issue being now the phone does not get any service. I have done every IEMI fix and have restored the IEMI successfully but still no service. I have tried the common LTE fixes (http://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/how-to/how-to-restore-lost-redmi-note-3-pro-t3401622) but still nothing. I have tried flashing almost every verson of either the dev or stable china and global roms to see if it was the Modem. I have even flashed just the modem from those fastboot roms while running CM13. At this point Im willing to even put a bounty on helping me fix this if that is allowed by the fourm rules. So $20 Canadian to who ever helps me fix this if its possible!
http://en.miui.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=260943&highlight=IMEI+redmi+note+3&mobile=2
This is surely work
And Tell me the result
I have already tried that with no avail. I still get the same issue. In phone info under sim one the current network reads: Off and the GSM service reads radio off. It will not allow me to turn on the radio either

Gave this a try, still nothing. The sim is detected right away but the radio will not turn on
I would say follow the below steps:
1. Take backup of internal storage and EDL flash latest stable fastboot ROM (EDL flash will wipe your internal memory).
2. After reboot, if radio doesn't comes up then go to Settings >> About Device and tap on "Internal Memory" multiple times till you get the "Testing" screen. Also close the data from the notification toggle.
3. Inside the Testing screen, Select the correct SIM, "Phone Information 1" is for SIM 1 and "Phone Information 2" is for SIM 2.
4. Now, scroll down and select the correct value from the "Preferred network Type" . 4G - "LTE Only", 3G - "WCDMA Only", 2G/GSm - "GSM Only".
5. If still the network doesn't comes then go to your SIM settings and search and select your network manually.
6. After this if you are still missing radio/network, then I thnk you'll have to send it to service center for repair.
Same Prob for me
Have you found any solution?
Thanks in advance
Kenzo no network

Answer the following one by one.
Whats ur phone? Kenzo or kate?
Which twrp u used? Official, zcx, fox , redwolf ?
U should only wipe system, data and cache delvik.
Did u wipe persist, efs, modem partition ? Or flashed any modem zip ?
radio off, no network kenzo
My device is kenzo
Used official twrp 3.2.1.0 version
I know i shoukd have wiped dalvic and cache only but I used the format system. Which wiped everything
Yes in my steps I tried to fix the device I flash modemst1 and modemst2 NON-HLOS.
I also flashed all global roms for kenzo via no flash tool
I also manually flashed all files seperately via fastboot method
I used imei writer to write back the imei.

Format data only erase data and internal sd.
U dont need to manually flash all those files.
Just use fastboot rom. Just open rawprogram xml and partition xml file and check which file are included during flashing process in which label partition. And which are skipped.
Almost all files are flashed during fastboot flash. I think Modem too. Only persist img is not flashed. U can flash persist file manually.
First I thought imei number is hard coded in hardware but i was wrong. If u erase partition then its lost. I try to find efs partition in xml file. Couldnt find.
May be efs is nevertouched during fastboot flash. So should never touch EFS partition. I think in efs partition the imei number is manually written in factory.
If u erase efs then u cant get it back using fastboot rom. Only manually add it. U can search mi forums how to add it.

Only miflash. And like I said also manually via fastboot method. I have tried everything again . my mac a dress is ok, both sim imei's is back, WiFi and Bluetooth is working. But still no network. I don't understand now. I have flashed via miflash global 8.1.1 fastboot rom. All details show except no network.

Yes I did
So, I backed up the DRM keys, rooted, installed custom recovery and kernel. Now I want to bring the phone back to the same status as it was when I received it. I thought I start by restoring the DRM keys that should also lock the BootLoader, but I'm a bit stuck and have 3 questions.
1. I bought the US variant, flashed an European one to get the fingerprint sensor - is it enough to flas the US firmware to make the phone the same way as when I got it?
2. How to get rid of custom recovery, will flashing the original US firmware take care of that?
There is a thread about restoring TA, you need also flash stock fw.

True, but this is all it says. Says nothing about flashing anything or how to restore original recovery.
===================================How To Restore TA Partiton?==================================
Note : Restoring TA Partiton Will Re-Lock The Boot-Loader And You Will Loose Root Access.
* Copy your TA partition backup to the TA tool's extracted folder.
* Connect your device with USB Debugging Enabled
* Open up a command prompt to the extracted folder and type in the following:
tarestore.bat {Your TA Backup File}
Example :
tarestore.bat TA-14102016.img
This new restored TA partition should persist across device wipes and Android upgrades.
Well you will just need to restore To ( relock bootloader) and then flash stock rom with flashtool ( wipe all, but take backups)
I was in ur shoes last week. First, if u backed up ur TA, downgrade to the firmware u did d backup (lollipop i presume), then restore ur TA, it will not restore on Marshmallow, after that then upgrade to marshmallow, u will bun-rooted n stock with ur drm keys.
Is there a way to restore back to normal if you didn't backup a TA?
I just want to unroot mine and relock the bootloader.
Root back
Hello, i tried root my phone but did not get any luck. As i understand i did not root it but changed kernel to Androplus. I want back to stock but not sure which steps i should make. At the moment i don't have rooted device also cant get sony updates as it is modified.
This is my phones data
Model E5823
Baseband version 8994-FAAAANAZQ-00033-25
Kernel version 3.10.84-v23 Androplus
Build number 32.1.A.1. 185
1) How much far i did got to root my phone?
2) What should i do get back stock firmware?
Thanks!
Hello, I've got an honor 7a, AUM-L29.
This phone is rooted (magisks 19.**), this phone has TWRP, this phone was running EMUI 8 lastest patches.
I tried to restore a backup from TWRP : the system, system image and .... the firmware
The last one was a really bad idea, because the restore failed on it and my phone lost his firmware partition (error 255 execTarFork...).
My only solutions are :
- huawei repair store (at least half the price of the phone, stupid)
- an image of the stock firmware partition of the phone (from someone with the exact same phone)
Please help me.
Hello
I have the same phone, but my phone is not rooted, i cant unlock the bootloader

long story short. I have accidentally delected the persist partition and lost sensors of course.
Wifi / BT still works.
The following has been tried but no use
1. restore fastboot full stock rom
2. restore recovery full stock rom
3. checked a number of stock rom but without persist.img
4. try qualcomm 9008, but require special xiaomi account to flash via EDL
did not try
download persist backup from others. But someone mentioned that this will permenently lost mac / iemi.
However, how without anything in the persist partition, the mac / imei are still here.
Is the persist for mipad only work with sensors?
What should I do next? Thanks.
