Cracked Spotify on Galaxy S8? - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Been trying to get a cracked version on my s8 for hours. My s8 came with spotify preinstalled so I'm unable to simply uninstall it. I can't even root my phone, because there isn't even a working one for my model, and I even tried uninstalling with the adb method. I also tried changing the package name by decompiling, building and signing or whatever, but its not working whatsoever.
I'd appreciate it if someone is able to help me.
Thank you.

Q&A forum and check the Market. Why didn't you just check the Market? This isn't difficult.
You want us to download a random zip, install it, just to see if you are getting the most recent version and NOT paying the developer for his hard work?
Man, I've helped you a lot with PM's, but this is not helping your cause...
I did... the only one i c is one for 2.5 euros. and i don't even know if that is the right one since its for the i9000 phones
Not everything in the Market is free.
If it doesn't work then get a refund.
Isnt root explorer a paid app? Feel bad for devs, specially when they make useful apps.

sorry guys, i didn't realize that what i was doing was wrong or a "warez" (don't even really know what that is). i have seen people post the same thing for OCLF so i didn't realize i couldn't do it. like i said, i didn't know if that was the right root explorer (since the payment is in euros and it is for the i9000 phones - didn't know if it would work on my phone). I have no problem paying for apps/services, in fact i have paid for several since I have had my phone. I like to support the devs for sure. again, i'm sorry about the misunderstanding.
Yes, it will work on your phone. Currency conversion is done when you go to make the purchase.
Like I said before, you can always refund it if it doesn't work.
^^ free apps can be posted on here so long the developer doesn't object. OCLF was done by and XDA user (like most of the good apps in the market).
Paid apps should NEVER be posted on XDA. The paid one in the market it always your best/safest bet.
A LOT of times when you see those paid apps out there, they will ask for more permissions that the same app in the market does NOT ask for!
When you have an app that has root permissions given, and it's asking for rights the developer of the app did not request I'd be wiping my phone, haha.
Thanks guys, i'll definetly be getting that. you all have been so helpful. just didn't want to make a wrong move!
everyone kept screaming root explorer at me for pushing apps into your phones hard to reach places, but i'm kinda cheap and tried a few of the free alternatives via marketplace.
I really really like the app Android mate it's free it can explorer and push to root.
built in application manager, File Explorer, and Installer. Stable, used it with various Team Whiskey and Stock/Stockish Touch wiz roms without any issues, check it out.
you can find it on the android marketplace via your phone.
just wanted to update everyone... i downloaded root explorer and it is working beautifully! very powerful while easy to use at the same time! the currency conversion and install were no problem whatsoever. now i have swype on the eugene's gingerbread clone =D
I love swype!

[Q] Cute Japanese Interactive Animated Girl Apps

Hey guys, sorry if I'm not doing everything properly (I'm a noob and this is my first post).
I've been looking at and downloading fun apps fitting the description in the title.
These are the ones I've got so far:
【かわいいライブ壁紙】はなまる日記 or jp.shimnn.android.flowergirl
DREAM C CLUB PureClock-Amane- or jp.co.d3p.dreamclock00.amane
Eyepatch maid or jp.wfa.sumaso.livewallpaper01b
Girl Live Wallpaper or com.blocco.app.action.livewallpaper.international.maid
MiraiClock3 or jp.culturejapan.mirai
チューニングラバークロック or jp.windeal.chu2clock1
とーきんがーるずっ! or com.wani.talkin2
なでなで目覚まし。「かのん」 or jp.interlink.moealarm
モグモグゆなちゃん or jp.illusion.orega
ヤンデレ彼女 or net.eternalsoftware.yanderex
If anybody has full versions (if you did anything that includes paying money for the app) of these or similar apps do you mind sharing them (by extracting the apk or some other method)?
Also, I've played around with editing the settings of some of these apps in /data/data/jp.APP-NAME (e.g. /data/data/jp.co.d3p.dreamclock00.amane/shared_prefs)
If anyone knows how to unlock features by editing the files, that would be great too.
On a last note, some really good apps (of these types) are only available in Japan and for certain android devices.
It takes a lot of work but finding the apks for these apps online is usually possible.
Thanks for any help that can be provided, I don't see a similar thread on XDA-Developers and Google isn't helping much, so I hope to create a thread where information can be exchanged about these kind or similar Japanese apps.
Dear Sir,
Please take a moment and read the rules of the forum. Asking for warez is not allowed

Okay, so to avoid paying $5 some person is willing to download an .apk... install it giving it full root access to their expensive device and quite honestly you truly have no idea how to look at an application to understand what is going to even happen when you initialize it? Am I up to speed here or did I miss something lol? You should realize with full root access a dev could increase your CPU voltage quite easily and you'd honestly never know what happened or why your screen went black. Don't be stupid! Sorry, I was looking for info on initramfs when i ran across this and its like a train wreck and ya have to look lol.
Please don't ask about lucky patcher. It is used almost exclusively to get paid/pro features with out paying for them. Developers work hard to make nice things for us and we should not cheat them out of their just rewards.
Thanks!

Cracked
I'm sure thats the problem, probably an old cracked version or some issues with it, so android recognizes it's cracked

HELP RE: VirtualXposed and running SimCity BuildIt and GameGuardian

Hi guys. I'm new here. I heard good things about this site but I need some help.
I have VXP installed and running on my phone and GameGuardian, which does work fine with using the virtual space as a root source to function. But I have reached a problem.
I am trying to launch SimCity BuildIt, but nothing is happening, it goes to a black launch and nothing occurs.
I am hoping someone here can give me a guide or walkthrough of how to resolve this issue.
I had thought it was a Google play issue and have installed the Google services thing through VirtualXposed. But I am stuck now with what to do.
My goal is to launch SimcityBuildit through VXP whilst running GG.
I hope you can help with me achieving this. I'd rather not have to root my entire device properly. I have tried that using KingRoot, KingoRoot, Etc and tbh it doesn't work so VXP is my only hope.
Cheers guys. Looking forward to you helping me.
Aaron
