As I set up some applications for live wallpapers, and then set some live wallpapers for my screen, it doesn't work and just shows me green screen...
This also happens in some games..
While games work just nice,and when the story animation comes, then it suddenly changes to the green screen and I can only hear sounds without animations..(WTF)
BUT, my tablet can play videos very well.
I don't have any idea about this...
Could you please give some solutions for me?

My sgs 3 has a strange pattern on the lockscreen wallpapers, if they are dark you can see like brighter areas, bits of say a full black wallpaper show as grey.
I did think the screen was faulty but when I use same wallpapers for home screen/view pics/movies this problem is not there, its only on the lockscreen wallpaper, If I use a very bright one its hard to see but any black/dark red/blue/dark green will show this odd blotch...mainly right side.

Untick "Ripple effect".
Is there some issue with the phone? Movies/games/pics all fine, I just get strange blotch on lockscreen, and what makes it even stranger if I use a live wallpaper on the lockscreen its fine,i only get the problem if i set a picture for the lockscreen 9worse with dark colours)

As B3311 just pointed out, turn off ripple effect and the weird pattern on lockacreen is gone. It needs to be there in order to be able to create the ripple effect.

I saw the post but I am just keen to find out what/why its there, you say it needs to be but that seems like a odd thing for Samsung to have, is there other posts covering this as I would like to find out if this is a samsung tech reply (its normal) or if its been seen by us and thats an answer we have came to.

I just intalled black ops zombies but im having issues can some one please help me....
game starts fine loads fine ones it starts the walls are see threw and some objects as well. now
I tried another map the one thats black and white and everything is fine not until I turn power on and color shows then all walls glitch and
become invisible any one have any idea what it could be.?
think its interesting when u turn ur screen off u see the middle turn black first then the edges turn black
it's call lock animation
and I like the retro TV animation better, only if I can change it
i knew there was an unlock animation, didnt knw there was a lock one too.
thought it was just the way the panel works
Hello everyone, I have a device that's called archos hello 5, it's something like Google hub, lenovo display Amazon show etc. It's running Android 8.1.0
I have 2 problems, first is that I can't use a live wallpaper on it, have no idea why but I can't, when I try to apply it I get a message that says can't use live wallpaper. Never came across any android device before that didn't allow me to apply and use a live wallpaper, any solutions? I tried installing live wallpaper picker but it doesn't help, crashes.
2nd problem is that this device is made to be used as a bedside thing but the screen is too bright even on the lowest brightnesses, I tried all possible apps for dimming the brightness but none help, the problem is with screens backlit intensity, is there any way to lower/reduce screens light, dimm the lcd backlit?

I own a Pixel 5 and I want to replace or get rid of the wallpaper during the first sim/pattern phase.
When you restart the phone the first thing you see is the spinning Google logo. That's fine the way it is.
Now the next thing you see is the unlock sim card dialogue. During that phase, till you entered your pattern or used your fingerprint the first time, there's some ugly pinkish default background picture. It has nothing to do with the set wallpaper/theme you've chosen for your desktop or lock screen. In fact, I can't even find that picture on the pre-installed themes and wallpapers that come with the phone.
Now I know, you don't restart your phone that often. But it's ugly and still bothers me. I would even prefer a solid black background at the phase. Is it possible? Thanks in advance.
