Please help. I have already rooted my phone with Superoneclick. Downloaded a Terminal emulator on phone. Still not able to connect to internet.
My Internet connection on PC is a cable connection with it showing in XP as WAN Miniport (PPPoE) connection. My Android phone connection, after tethering shows as Local Area Connection-2 (Android USB Ethernet/RNDIS#2). I am unable to bridge the two connections....
Hi
You can probably share internet connection thru bluetooth if you dont have wifi adapter!
Google "Sharing internet connection through BT"
Try this:

@kats17
The links that you mentioned have already been seen by me. Either they are talking of tethering (and not reverse-tethering, which is using PC internet connection on phone), or of bridging two LAN connections in XP. Nevertheless, thanks for your help.
As said earlier, I have a cable connection on my XP PC, which is showing as a WAN Miniport (PPPoE) connection. This connection is not getting bridged with my LAN (Android) connection, and therefore I am unable to complete the connection.
Please help anybody..
Hello all:
I bought TP-LINK TL-MR3020 travel router which you can plug in a USB 3G dongle for internet access. I am wondering if I can use my phone(unlimited data plan) as 3G modem? The tethering is working if I connect my phone to laptop, but when I plug it in to the router, the router won't recognize. There is an option to upload a modem file (.bin) to the router so it can recognize the "unknown modem". The question is how to write and compile the modem file for android phone?
Thanks for advice

Have you tried checking out the application Fqrouter2 for rooted devices ? doesn't work on my phones but could work on yours.
i hope i can explain myself good enough please let me know if you have any questions..
my android phone (galaxy s3 i9300) is connected to my router's wifi, just like anybody else if they have a router that supports wifi.. all other smartphones i have are connected to it.
now i have a computer but i can't run a cable to it from the router.
i just want to know if there's any way i share the wifi connection i'm connected to on my phone to the computer using USB cable
it's just like using regular tethering but instead of using the mobile's network to tether a wifi connection, i want to use the wifi connection to tether my pc?
i have a rooted device, all ready to go, is there an app or something i need to install on my pc..anything please help
Hello everyone,
I have very strange problem with my hotspot. My laptop can't connect the hotpsot.
My laptop using Win 10 and i have no issue with other hotspots or WiFi routers. Can't connect only to the hotspot from my Poco F1.
When i try to connect from different laptop or any other mobile devices, there is no problem.
I reset any possible setting on both devices.
Just to clarify - the problem is not that don't have Internet access thru the hotspot, the windows says "Can't connect to this network"
Please advise!
Thank you in advance.
