T-Mobile users - Free $200! :eek: - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

So I was looking through Samsung Pay last night and stumbled on a promotion for T-Mobile users that you can upload your receipt from T-Mobile and get 40,000 points for Samsung Pay - that's a $200 Visa debit card instantly in your Samsung Pay account! Verified last night and sent in my receipt and the points were in my account within an hour. Nobody is promoting this at T-Mobile, so I figured I'd share the info. Apparently it runs until Nov 8th or so I think.

I had issues uploading a pdf...but changed to use the camera and the file loaded right away...

:crying: Ive been trying to get it to upload using every method (picture/pdf/screen shot) for about 2 hours

My EIP contract includes phone, amount, and date but was denied in about 5 minutes. It was a very clear upload. I wonder what I need to upload. It's not very clear what constitutes a receipt in their eyes.

I uploaded the printed receipt I got from the T-Mobile store, just an 8.5x11 printed paper with the info. It took two uploads because the first was denied because it wasn't too clear I guess, but it went through in less than an hour the second time.

any one try to apply for 2 note 8s with this promotion?
Edit, nevermind, it can only be done on one device. Also if yours doesn't go thru, keep trying to upload a new photo. Took me 5 times before they accepted it,and i bought my note 8's last month and they still qualified! im enjoying a sweet 200 dollar pre paid card now, thanks to the op!

i think its good for the S8 and the S8+ but the points awarded are lower. S8+ is 20000 points good for a $100 pre paid card, and S8 is 10000 points
and its not the Texas deal, on my phone it was like 2 promotions below that one

I submitted the same exact receipt that I used for the other Samsung promotion for the convertible charger and sd memory card, which was accepted but I keep getting denied for this particular promo. I sent [email protected] an email with the receipt and I'll update this if, when I hear from them. By the way, minutes after I was denied the first time I got an email with the shipping info on the first promo, it will be delivered this Friday. What a weird coincidence.
No word yet from Samsung but after being denied and trying 6 times here's what I get.

I have no clue! I thoroughly expected it not to work considering I literally paid NOTHING for this phone, and may not even keep it but a month or two (who knows, I switch all the time), but I submitted once, said it was denied, and I figured that was because of clarity of the picture. Retook the pic, submitted one more time, and had my money in an hour.
