first i did upgrade android 5 to 6 and 6 was very slow then i flashed to lineage-14.1 (android 7)
7 is smooth but after install gapps i have only 33mb free ram on 7 !!! and i can't open any program
now i need to restore to android 5 because i think android 5 is best for honor 5x
i extracted and put dload folder from
"Honor 5X_Firmware_KIW-L21_Android 5.1_EMUI 3.1_C432B140_West European_Channel-Others.zip"
in sd card but phone can't update this rom
im very new about install roms, can you guide step by step how can back to the android 5?

If you want to go to lollipop from marshmellow..you need a downgrade package for that...
What is model number and build number of your device??

Since nobody can spoonfeed the process. I will keep it simple.
First and foremost, before doing any modifications to ur phone, u have to UNLOCK BOOTLOADER of ur phone then do watever u like.
1) BOOTLOADER UNLOCKING : http://xiaomitips.com/guide/unlock-redmi-note-3-bootloader/
2) INSTALL CUSTOM RECOVERY to flash custom roms: http://xiaomitips.com/guide/install-twrp-v3-0-0-on-redmi-note-3/
3) INSTALL CUSTOM OREO ROM : https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-note-3/development/rom-nitrogen-os-11-01-2017-t3536211
(P.s. WIPE SYSTEM, DATA, INTERNAL STORAGE before flashing rom through recovery.)

I have a Ulefone Armor 7E, it came installed with Android 9. Today I wanted to update to Android 10, using the ROMs on the Ulefone Website (Links to a Google Drive).
I found a Warning Message that you should not use the ROM to update your phone ("★Warning★: if your phone is Android 9,you are forbidden to flash Android 10，otherwise your phone must be bricked!!! vice versa
").
So they sell a version of the phone with Android 9 and one with Android 10. I bought my phone (Android 9) this year around april.
Has anyone updated the phone to Android 10, or do you brick your phone if you try to update it?

Switching from Adroid 9 to Android 10 isn't an update but an upgrade.
You may consider flashing a Custom ROM based on Adroid 10.

Which one is ok for my model
Hi, I also have a MedTekOEm , android 5.1, MT6580MSoC, kernel version 3.18.19+, it gets recognized as a note10 note10, but can't find any compatible ROM. Please tell if you find a way to install a custom ROM.
Hi is it safe if i try to downgrade my rom from miui android 11 to miui android 10 using mi flash tool? I have unlocked bootloader and currently on custom rom android 11. Im planning to flash miui android 11 and then flash miui android 10.

I just downgraded my Curtana from Android 11 to Android 10 MIUI 12 using OrangeFox recovery. I was also very nervous about downgrading through a custom recovery and MiFlash doesn't worth that much effort (imagine being unsuccessful with a locked bootloader, I'm not scaring you though).
Here's what I did but plz do it at your responsibility-
1.Download latest Android 10 build for Curtana i.e. 12.0.6.0 from xiaomifirmwareupdater.com
2. Boot to OFox recovery>Wipe>wipe Dalvik/cache,Cache, Data, Internal Storage. Also FORMAT DATA.
3. Flash the recovery ROM zip.
4. Wipe dalvik, Cache.
5. Reboot to system
PS: I was on Android 11 based Evolution X ROM when I downgraded to Android 10. So it's kind of Android 11 EvoX downgraded to Android 10 MIUI 12.
You can switch to a non-MIUI A11 ROM before downgrading.
Hi, i buy a redmi note 9s with miui 12.0.6 android 10 and i want to downgrade to miui 11 also android 10.
i've try many solution, install the zip rom v11A10 from recovery, orangefox, or flash all the fastboot rom miui 11 android 10 found in xiaomifirmware.com.
nothing to do ,with every rom the mobile goes in bootloop and can't boot both in recovery than system.
we need 1 more thing to downgrade?

Move your android 12 custom rom on sd card and reboot to recovery , format data and install it

Download pixel experience Android 12 rom on your phone, And move it to Sd card, and press volume up and power button of your phone for 10 seconds and pixel recovery will appear then format data and then click on update and choose Sd card and then locate your rom and install it and wait for 4 to 5 minute and reboot your phone
