In a word. Yes.
Installed the dome last night and the case this morning, liking both a lot. The dome takes some extra effort and attention to install and the process was different than all the videos I had watched. The case is tight so I flexed the lips out as much as I could during installation.
This is the best screen protector I have ever experienced. Smooth, clear and responsive. I hope it lasts. If you can handle the price and are a little handy, do it.
Not normally a fan of gold tone, the blue and gold Ringke Wave caught my eye. Different and a little classy. Grip is good and the pattern helps determine the orientation of the phone in the dark. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone that changes their case often, it is snug.
These two play well together with enough gap around the edges but not too much. I'm very pleased.
The Note 8 is an unexpected update for me as I accidentally trashed my S8+ earlier this week. The $200 rebate helped ease the pain and I'm happy to have a s-pen back. I've had Notes back to the Note 3 and lived thru the Note 7 but couldn't wait and pre-ordered an S8+.
As a bit of a bonus I'm using the blue s-pen I kept from one of the 7s. It works perfectly and matches the case

These are not pics of a new install. It has been in my pocket a few days so they are real life pics, dust, lint and all.
It does help to show the gap between the case and the protector.

Has anyone treid any of these. Want to know if it covers all of the phone and how about a screen protector then and what the quality is like?

That's very nice. I was searching for such a site. Maybe I will buy one for my Touch Pro2 and PlayStation3. I like the design of the covers.
When I buy some, I'll let you know!

P.S. Sorry for my bad English. I'm Dutch, you know.
There was a thread on here about 6 months ago with a similar thing and one guy had pics where moisture had got underneath the the protector he had on and it made a right mess don't know if these will do the same tho
interesting that they give you a matching background... well thought out product for sure!
I just ordered the carbon-fiber setup. Will post my experience when it comes in.
thats pretty cool, gotta look into this lol
Got mine in today. About all these are good for is personalization and minor scratch protection of unimportant areas. The battery cover half only covers part way and will only protect from scratches when laying the phone down flat. The cutouts are perfectly positioned and lining the skin up is easy, but be careful not to stretch the thin material.
The front skin is less impressive. Unlike in the photos, it does not cover the chrome trim at all. It is exactly the same shape and size as a die-cut screen protector, but the screen area is open. If you use one of those types of screen protectors then this skin is little more than adornment. If you use the square-cut type then it has to be larger than the skin's opening, which is exact to the Tilt's viewable screen area. This means there will be some degree of overlap. You could cut a screen protector to fit the skin's opening, but the likelihood of getting it perfect and without gaps is not high. Again, be careful not to stretch it when applying, especially the very thin sides.
To get the included wallpaper you have to go to a website and enter a key that comes with the skin and verify your e-mail address used to order. It will then be sent in an e-mail. I tried to use it with SPB Mobile Shell and it was magnified and all pixelated for some strang reason. Didn't try it with Manila since I'm no longer using that UI.
I guess if you want a custom look to the outside of your phone, it's worth the $12 (with shipping), but don't expect a lot of protection from it. Also, when you pass a finger over the edge where it meets the device you can feel it. Probably won't be long before it starts lifting and getting all unglued or ragged.
hey Miami.... post some photos of the finished application if you can.

Here's a fuzzy closeup of the edge. You can feel it when you pass a finger over it and it will probably be no time before it starts to lift. I've already got a ragged edge right where the stylus goes in from nicking it with my fingernails. I'll leave it be as long as I can, but I don't expect it to stay on too long.
Sold by Amazon and directly from RearthUsa
Just installed this on my Note. I bought it from RearhUSA for 28 bucks with Free 2-3 day shipping. Called the guy to clarify free shipping and he was prompt and helpful. Ordered Monday around noon and it is here Wednesday right after noon.
I ordered black matte and very glad that I didn't do Alpine white or Gloss black. Looks very nice tight fit and the grip is good. Removing wasn't hard, just start from the bottom left corner. It came with Ringbo screen protector and it has extra plugs for headphones and USB openings. Screen protector is an average quality, it is okay. No bubbles. Over all very happy so far.
Update July 12th 2012:
The exposed top right corner. Front bridge is broken. No surprise given how thin it was. Oh, well going to look for one without exposed corner.

Thick = No
Grippy = More than the stock back cover, but not grippy like a tpu
Rubbery = Nope
I have this case as well it looks nice and it doesn't add too much bulk and I like the screen protector because it doesnt impede my swiping like that Zagg screen protector I had before (waste of 20 dollars from Best Buy)
I have had this since I got my Note, about 2 weeks after launch. I really like it. It doesn't add much bulk and shows of the metal sides. The screen protector is of very good quality and doesn't take anything away from the screen. It's a bit pricey but I think it's worth it.
It actually feels like leather. I like the contrast of matte back to reflective front and sides. I never liked the glossy covers, they just look cheap to me personally. Second day with it and I can tell that plug-in caps are a bit of nuisance at work where I constantly plug USB cable to the phone. Perhaps when I get over my first infatuation with the new phone it won't be a hassle.

Would be nice if it covered all sides
I love this case.
My favorite. Had it on my GSII and now for my Note. I see no need for another case in the future.
After having a see-through PTU case since day one, I rarely take the case off. Recently I have been using the Note with a digital amplifier to listen to music. Since the cutout on the case doesn't fit the 3.5 mm input, I have been taken the case off. I immediately noticed how sexy the Note is in it's complete naked state with the vivid capacitative button lit.
I suggest you do the same to yours if you are not already. Just not in public .
Mine has been in its birthday suit since its initial unboxing. It definitely is a nice looking phone. Although the materials are primarily plastic, it still feels premium. No creaking on this guy.

Sexy profile is why I'm also keeping mine nude but the phone is way too big to avoid some kind of bumping especially when I'm in my car.
I dropped my note couple of times already but I've been very lucky so far...
It really hurts my feeling when what I mentioned above happens... It worries me every time.
I've grown very attached to this phone. I think im at least getting a bumper case. The phone won't look so sexy with a cracked screen or bruised corners.

I know it aint cheap but for about $50, the otterbox defender case is the best *insurance* and piece of mind, money can buy imo.

Thread Cleaned
I know its just a bit of fun, but it could offend someone. Lets keep it clean now people
this is why i use a slim SLIM case on my note, doesnt really add anything or take anything away from it and all ports are super accessible.
Looking for a great slim case
I know the Otter Box Defender offers ultimate protection on the go but it's also hideously ugly and makes the device untenable for pocket use. I have no intentions of carrying it on my hip so I need something slim that offers some protection without detracting significantly from the beauty of the device. Has anyone tried different cases and found one that they love that sort of fit the aforementioned criteria?
BTW, currently I have a black Trident case on it which adds some bulk and size. It's still pocketable but it covers up the entire phone with a raised border around the screen for some protection. All that black is covering up my beautiful white though (except for the face). I'll be taking it back but I don't want to go unprotected. Ummmm...well, you know what I mean.
I wasn't sure where to put this, but since it involves a case, I figured the Accessories forum was a safe bet. Like most folks who pre-ordered from Sprint, I received a free case as a little thank you for being patient....even though I wasn't. After a few weeks, my only complaint is that the case is very slick and I've had a couple of close calls when trying to get it out of my pocket and answer a call while in a hurry. I remember seeing someone mention a product called PlastiDip, which is a spray-on coating designed to add texture and some degree of weather protection. I found a can at the local hardware store, slapped some masking tape on the edges of the free case and this is the result.
Here it is with just the tape.

This is after 4 medium coats of PlastiDip with 30 minutes between coats.
And here it is after scoring along the tape with a razor blade and then removing the tape.
I'm not sure how long it will hold up, but it really added a nice grippable feel to the case. Don't look too close or you'll see that I didn't apply the tape parallel to the edge of the case. I also didn't do a really good job of scoring along the edge of the tape. However, the case was free and the spray was only around $6 so I don't have a whole lot invested. If anyone else has similar problems holding on to their phone, this might be an option to consider.
For reference, this is the stuff.
Nice work, thanks for sharing it!
Just a fyi the oils from fingers will start to peal the edges off. Good idea though
Dude plasti dip is the ****! I've done various car trim items in that stuff, it's incredible. Excellent idea, I'll try this if I get a case.
wow great idea, i got a few cans sitting at home
How about using grip tape? I always have leftovers from my skateboard decks.
About Plasti-Dip, spray from a further distance for more "grit". The closer you spray the smoother it'll look.
What about maybe painting with RTV? It seems like that might be cheaper as well as more durable.
My issue would be peeling over time, though it's so simple you might as well just keep reapplying it, nothing will beat it in terms of grip.
Pine tar....

Out of curiosity... How long did this hold up? I sprayed my nexus s 4g awhile back and it lasted a little more than a month. I am wondering if others had better success. I probably didn't do the best job.

I’m annoyed by flip-covers. Folding that cover all the way back to get a proper hold on your Note 3.
Don’t even mention playing games with the flip-cover on, the annoyance factor is doubled.
This is just my personal preference I don't intend to offend anybody.
Bumpers are good plus mostly affordable and none of that annoyance from a flip-cover.
However the most of these are made of medium-to-hard rubber.
I get a hard time getting my phone out of the left front pocket of my pants due to the friction from the rubber.
A slim-case (hard-plastic) seems to be the solution (at least for me), has a smooth surface making it sleekly slide in and out of my pocket.
What about the screen, it might get scratched while the Note 3’s inside my pocket?
That’s where the “leather pouch” comes into play.
Again, a smooth leather making the thing slide easily in and out of a pocket.
That pull-tab works perfectly in getting the Note 3 out.
This is basically the logic behind my set-up.
Functionally it's a sound set-up.
Everything is perfect now.
But just to give that extra touch, I slapped a tempered glass on the screen for that premium feel and look.
Now it’s a perfect marriage.
:fingers-crossed:

Nice review.... lots of effort and thought....
FOR THE LOVE OF GOD INCLUDE LINKS PLEASE.
I solved some of these problems for myself by:
Still going with a bumper - I don't believe in making the phone thicker even with a slim case for the back because a back is like $5-$10 to replace. I do prefer something with a bit of a raised lip to protect the screen. I've never had issues pulling the phone out of my pocket due to a bumper - if anything some of the texture of these cases makes it harder due to increased friction on the broad surface area of the back.
For the screen protection, using one of those tempered glass (got the Spigen Glas.TR Slim this time around for the Note 3).
I then mount a Flygrip or similar to the back to improve handling and give it a kickstand - I'm awaiting delivery of the HandeBand Slide. I find that even the Flygrip when it's folded in against the phone's body, it still gives you a ridge to hold your finger against is still a good way to keep it from sliding out of your hand.
I just added the link now for those who wants to see where I got the items from.
Have a nice one guys.
