Not seeing the Battery level icon for my Zenwatch 2 on the notification shade or on Bluetooth screen. I reset the watch but no help. Notifications seem to work ok.

I know this is a power saving feature but disabling it does it improve any image quality or no?

Yes, what that feature does is that it adjust the brightness depending on the color currently displayed on the screen. With that feature on everything looks dark, and dim. Turn the feature off and watch everything look bright and vibrant, and for more "oomph" change the screen mode to "dynamic". Gorgeous colors.

I wonder how much effect it has on the battery I get more than enough battery out of 1 day of use so I figure why not enhance the phone

The night clock background on my Dinc was much darker than the background on the Rezound. Is there any way to make the background black/turn it off without losing the clock feature?
Also, you could turn on the night clock from the Desk clock screen on the Dinc. Again, with the Rezound, once you go to the Desk clock, it takes about 5 minutes to enter the night clock mode. Is there a way/button to toggle to get in the night clock mode?
My Dinc has the AMOLD display which is known for deep, dark blacks. My Rez has an LCD...black background is slightly backlit.
I couldn't find a fast way to get to the standard night clock. After installing and removing numerous night clocks apps I settled on the app NIGHTCLOCK which allows independent adjustment of text and background brightness. Problem solved for me...ymmv.

Thanks for the heads-up on the difference between the Dinc (AMOLD display) and the Rez LCD.
Can you tell me which NightClock you used. The one I purchased was Night Clock (Ned Fox) but it does not have an adjustment for the backlight and was essentially no darker than the stock. There are probably 5-6 Night Clocks in the market and I thought I had tried them all and still didn't get the black like on the Dinc.
I really liked Ambient Display on Oxygen. Just swiping above the proximity sensor would light the screen up. On CM12.1 ambient display barely works at all. Is it possible to install an apk or flash a zip to get ambient display working like on oxygen?
Take a look at gravity screen app in PlayStore

I am using it for now, but sometimes all I need is to check the time and ambient display looks so good on this phone
give it some time. the option is there it just does not work yet as it should. I'm also waiting for this!
I have Ambient Display with AcDisplay App. Better than stock and more settings.

If somebody wants to buy Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon, maybe this pros and cons can help.
This pros and cons are from my point of view, from my experience and needs from one smartphone.
After 2 weeks of usage. (Latest Global ROM)
Pros:
- Display (when you are inside, nice colors and sharpness)
- Performance (nice and smooth in day to day use, 78k on antutu, more than S6,Z5,Nexus6..)
- Speaker and Headphone out
- Battery life (average usage on wifi messenger, instagram, viber, browser and bluetooth music streaming.. Getting 8h+ on screen time)
- Camera (but only for social networks)
- Slot for SD Card
- Fast fingerprint sensor
Cons:
- Camera (when you put captured images on PC or zoom in you can see whats going on)
- Lack of Optical image stabilisation
- Display (when you are outside and wearing sunglasses you almost can't see anything on screen)
- Notification LED (tiny and dark)
- MIUI restrictions for font change and theme customization
- Lack of 2.0 quickcharge
Thats it for now.

I agree with your point of view and i will share with you little tricks to optimize cons parts
1.camera----->install Google camera from Play Store;you will get a better performance&quality
2.display:a)set colors to "cool"
b)set contrast to"increased contrast"
3.MIUI deep customization:a)turn off internet on the device
b)clear data from theme app(don't worry, you will don't lose any previously downloaded theme)
c)open theme app with internet off and go to desired category of customization
d)turn on internet and you will be able to download whatever you want:boot skins, lock screens, icons, etc
4.notification LED--->you can change LED color

Thank you on advice!
1. will try again. I have tried with google camera first day but results were almost the same.
2. Still can't see outside when it's sunny and wearing sunglasses.
Redmi Note 3 Mediatek version have 30% brighter/better screen on sunny day situations.
Xiaomi said that they have changed "screen pixel technology" on Snapdragon version and now it sucks on sunny days unfortunately.
3. Worked!
4. Any color, LED light is small and dark.. they should put bigger or brighter LED light.

Actually i used mediatek version and snapdragon version of this Phone, snapdragon variant is better under Sun light. You are not able to see with sunglasses it is true but the colours on screen will be lightened in snapdragon variant. It is called as sunlight technology and it works when you choose automatic contrast in screen settings :good:
Is there a way/app that will allow me to use the Oneplus X's AMOLED screen as a makeshift alarm clock, and keep it the clock displayed at all times in the night?
Always On display option + Ambient display can do that.
Or you can use the screen saver option while charging.
That options are in a lot of Roms.
