Hello All,
I am looking to PORT over the Cyanogen 6 Camera to the MIUI ROM at least on Rodriguez Style's version. I am aware that Rodi has included the working Libs in his ROM however this is where I am stuck. I would like to first get a list of all the libs that are needed to support the Cyanogen 6 Camera and then possibly complie this into a flashable zip.I have checked on CyanogenMod github under the androidpackage_apps_camera and have found very little info expcept the RAW java.
Lets make this a community effort.
Moderators please dont move this thread as it is Android Development Related.
U cant do that until u have the framework sources of miui, most cyanogen cam changes are in framework and not in camera app.So no need to even try without framework source for miui

what if we installed the cyanogen framework as an addition to the MIUI framework? Would it work? Like framework2 or something like that?
EDIT: THIS THREAD WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED BECAUSE I HAVE FOUND A WAY TO GET FULL CDMA SUPPORT ON ANOTHER MIUI ROM.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=27764320&postcount=52
First: ROM is in Alpha Development stage, you shouldn't install right now unless you would like to help me
Second: At any point in time, I or anyone on XDA may not be help accountable if you skrew something up and turn your phone in to a paperweight that looks like a gaming device. I will laugh at you if you do not follow directions and this happens to you!
Hey guys, first ROM I've ever build/ported and hopefully at some point this is a success!
So far I've finished my first attempt at porting all the folders and libs I've needed to, along with adding some permissions and adding some lines too the updater-script. I have basically no programming experience. So anyone who wants to Help, please do!
Reason for porting this ROM: I love MIUI and there is currently no version working well for the r800x (CDMA). It is ported from the MIUI Xperia Arc ROM, and based on cm9 fxp 125.
So far:
What works: Boot animation.
What doesn't: Everything else!
So, after this problem is solved, hopefully there wont be many other issues. here it is. Please feel free to Unarchive and help me out!

Custom OxygenOS OneplusX - COSX ROM
Intro
First of, I'm not a developer. I'm just a guy who put a couple of things together. I'm a bit above noob-level, so dont excpect high end stuff like some prestigious developers. That being said, I have put this ROM together because of the lack of ROMS based on our original software for the OneplusX. Don't expect to much, the most things happen under the hood. So no shiny backgrounds or boot screens.
Disclaimer
You know the drill, flashing happens under own responsibility. I have tested everything on two devices, and will not put anything online that can possibily harm or damage our device in any way. This being said, if you need support, ask in this thread.
Open Source
The ROM i have created is for the community, which in my opinion also means it should be fully open source. You can edit everything you want. You can use it as base for whatever you like. No need to ask permission or give reference. Seeing the amount of customized original software, I would be happy to see more custom oos roms pop up. No need to put restrictions on anything. Please just don't bother me with antutu benchmark related complaints.

I think OP managed to put most of the tweaks one can do to the Stock OOS and created a zip flash package.
IIRC, I did pretty much similar things on my Stock OOS before moving over to CM13.
Good Job OP saving a lot of time for those who want to enjoy the stock experience.
Coud you post a benchmark test?

Good work :good: Might try this as I kinda liked OOS but I'm currently running Marshmallow and CM based crDroid, so also might not go back to Lollipop
Biggest issues I had with the stock OOS 2.2.0 were:
1. Camera in low light situations. I think it's fixed here with Snapdragon camera?
2. Random rebooting, sometimes few times a day, sometimes few days without. Mostly occurred when playing any game with stock ROM. Is this custom OOS more stable?
3. I could not assign Menu action to HW buttons e.g. long pressing and this led to situation where I had to install Xposed framework and some module to get Menu in Titanium Backup to change backup location to SD card. Is this fixed here with Custom Hardware keys remap?
I know I should test this ROM myself, just pointing out biggest issues I had with stock OOS.
can u include the stock camera which has manual focus, exposure and iso??? or atleast let me know can i implement the stock oos camera in ur rom cheers

Same request here. :fingers-crossed:
Thanks for your work!
So proximity wake up ambient display works in this rom ?
And what type of themes are supported ? Layers or CM ?
Theme support
So OP, You have provided Layers or CM theme engine into rom?
Though Layers supported Stock OOS 2.2.0(Partially not all the themes were working) .

I said that deodexed is slower than odex rom. So that means this rom is slower than original OOS right ? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Waiting for download link...
Will give a shot today...
since the thread has been closed by the MIUI 9 Rom developer, is there anybody among the developers who will continue the development of the ROM in question?

There are 2 non xda devs who are doing miui 9 patchrom roms
1St http://www.manosp.com/archives/1220
- i tested it, fex chinas store apps and one additional settings in chinase, few languages
2nd http://www.romzj.com/rom/66843.htm
- i test it it too, same performance but multilanguage, and only CN are few store like apps
Both roms doesnt have Gapps, if you were interested i can debloat it and add gapps.. this roms are patchroms.
Please, I am also a big fan of rom miui, who I consider the best with the closing date of providing me the developer link or if any other xda user will continue with the miui project
fully agree with you the MIUI is the most beautiful among the released roms.
If you can do this and open a new thread you would certainly be greatly appreciated, the MIUI rom was very popular. Currently, version 9 of the MIUI works well, but it is always possible to improve with new versions that add new features that are continuously released.
Hello guys n girls how you all doing? OK I hope
Messing around with my firesticks just now and was wondering if any of you know of any decent mods available via magisk or Xposed for lineage Os mod?
I read somewhere that a few of the guys had successfully installed magisk modules on CM 12.1 firestick. However I cannot find the posts to the details of which add-ons people are using in search.
Any help or pointers in the direction of these would be great
Thank you for taking time to read my post. Much appreciated :good:
