I am using velvet kernel on my MIUI 8.2.10.0. I do have the boot.img from the stock firmware. I tried to flash it via fastboot command fastboot flash boot boot.img but that results in a bootloop. After that, I tried to restore stock kernel from TWRP backup (boot partition).
Now my phone is in bootloop even after flashing velvet custom kernel or restoring stock kernel. How do I fix this?
Search lazyflasher and flash it after the boot.img from twrp and then reboot

english please:fingers-crossed:
You can't really dualboot, but you could take a backup in cwm of rom A and install rom B, now do a backup of rom B, too. Now you can just restore the backup you need and you can switch from A to B and back. This will of course only work if they require the same kernel or if you are on stock kernel

Mostly the minimal adb files will be in zip format, extract them. U will get minimal adb setup (not sure of its exact name). Just install them.

I want to flash miui 9 using miflash. Doing that would update the bootloader as well. After that if I flash miui 8 via miflash, that's gonna downgrade the bootloader. Will that brick the device?
I'm asking this because I had Motorola phones before which I had bricked by downgrading bootloader when I downgraded the operating systems.
Sent from my Redmi Note 4X using Tapatalk
If you unlock the device you wont brick the device by downgrading

Device is already unlocked, I just wanna know whether downgrading bootloader by flashing older miui version can brick the device or not because on motorola phones, device instantly hard bricks on downgrading bootloader.
No my mi 5 downgraded from noughat to marshmellow without problem
