Hey Guys , so today i have a very very strange error to report ,
It occured on my Galaxy S3 and started almost 3 weeks ago ago with some apps disappearing from the phone but easily beeing reeinstalled (noticed it because it affected my Launcher (Nova Launcher) about 1 week ago the well known UID´s inconsisten issue begann to show up , however no new apps have been installed to the device in at least 2 months and it was pretty much a standard setup ( not even rooted)
the device started crashing several times during random use ( with the interesting exception of ongoing calls)
After each reboot the UID´s inconsitent error wash shown , after 1 day suddenly the phone lost all user Settings ( passwords ,Launcher settings and Contact information , yet none of the data , only the user storage was affected , the UID´s inconsistent error was still beeing shown .
then yesterday the phone got stuck entirely
now the device seems to operate for about 1 second after power , leading to it beeing stucked on the Galaxy S3 screen when starting normaly and the battery loading screen when connecting to Power ( it is not active long enough to determine battery levels , the waiting circle is in it´s starting positon )
booting into recovery mode and Download mode is sitll possible , safe boot is not responsive.
if i start Android System Recovery (<3e>)
a string of near identical errors show up in the following scheme :
E:failed to mount /cache ( No such file or directory)
E:failed to mount /data( No such file or directory)
and so on
when i try factory reset the error is
E:format_volume: make_ext4fs failed on /dev/block/mmcblk012
Should i try reinstall the device with Odin or is this a lost cause that requires a hardware fix ( or probably scrapping the device concidering the age)
i am looking forward to your help

Could someone send me a stock rom for the 2015 BLU Life One 4G LTE?
(LIFE ONE X010Q)
So far I've only been pointed to the Life One thread with information about the original Life One phones and roms.
I'm one of several people I know of who are stuck in recovery mode after the OTA update that we just installed and can't find a copy of the stock rom for this phone anywhere.
Thanks!
Same problem...
I also got the same problem. I got the OTA Update and while installing the Update, I got an error and the phone restarted. After that the phone was stuck in a bootloop. Comes up to the 3e recovery screen.
I'm trying to contact BLU to get the ROM.
I believe the error came from the fact that the phone memory was full. I think it didn't have enough space to do the install.
I am really bummed because I have had the phone for less then a month. And it is a really good phone for the price. If anybody has the Phone (x010q) any provide a backup ROM or even a custom ROM, we will appreciate it.
I am also in this same boat. Kind of regret getting a brand new BLU phone now, used to old Samsungs with stock roms everywhere
Hoping a stock rom/firmware pops up somewhere soon!

same here. I have the update file, but don't know how to load it.
Got it fixed...
I got my BLU Life One fixed. I ended up paying a BLU Certified Tech to reprogram the phone. Cost me $30. The thing is that It took almost 5 weeks for BLU to release the official ROM.
Mine is fixed. Does anyone know how to backup a Stock ROM. If so let me know and I will post the backup image from my phone.

If you could do a dump of your rom, that would be great.

NEED HELP
Hi, I also have a Blu Life One (X010Q) and recently i got the lollipop update but wasnt really happy about it coz of the memory issues (eg. apps installed in the internal memory even with the SD card as preferred installed location and moving or deleting the app doesnt free the memory it previously occupied)
So i rooted and well i removed some system apps and deleted some files in (/system/) apps that i thought was not really useful (I THOUGHT WRONG)
Anyway, after removing them. My phone rebooted. And when it turned back on there was a lot of apps missing including google play and google play services. I tried to reinstall it by downloading an apk file. I successfully installed google play store and google services (and they were on the SD CARD this time) but everytime i try to open the app. It doesn't do anything. So i did a hard reset thinking that might fix it(WRONG AGAIN!!) The app that i installed is gone. And i had to try reinstalling it. But this time i wasn't successful. And then I tried flashing the stock room through recovery but it didnt worked.
E: footer is wrong
E: signature verification failed
installation aborted
So the moron that i am unistalled KINGROOT which also unrooted the phone at the same time and did a hard reset (AGAIN) and then i tried to root it again. Still using kingroot but this time it wont do the job because my wifi wont turn on. And the data only runs on 2G.
So here are the problems that i successfully created for myself
1. WiFi not detecting signal and disabling everytime I exit the settings menu
2. Bluetooth not turning on as well. Disables 20 seconds after turning it on.
3. 2G on mobile data
4. Lost Notification Tray, no more notifications displaying at the top of tje phone. Shortcuts are gone.
5. Received messages cant be opened thus impossible to read, unless the whole message fits on the preview of the message thread. Reply has been disabled, sends a message through compose message or through contacts (send message menu)
5. Opening a browser app (UC, Chrome, Firefox, Dolphin) freezes the phone.
6. The display is upside down (auto rotate disabled)
Is there a way for me to fix this?
is the flashing possible if the phone is stuck in the boot cycle/logo?
Without the phone on, I can't see it recognized by the computer.

Yes, its possible... remember you need first install the drivers provided by me located in the zip, second open the app and configure to install the rom and third plug with your phone turned off into computer... only do it that the computer can see the download mode, (see the earlier post... and read the instructions inside the zip to configure the app to restore your phone)...
THANK YOUUUUU!! @davidequiz It works!!! had some troubles with the drivers but i got through and my phone works again! So happy

E:failed to mount /cache (Invalid argument)
E:can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E:Failed to mount /cache (Invalid Argument)
...and other messages like that.
and i can not fix with the zip, also i can make all the steps but the phone still in the blu logo, help please
I recently purchased a Galaxy Note 4 running stock firmware and activated it on my cellular network with no issues. The phone works fine i.e calls, texts, other functions. I am however faced with a Wi-Fi issue. If I ever power off my phone and turn it back on, the Wi-Fi fails to automatically connect. I have to manually reconnect and every time I do so I get a message that says the phone in in factory mode and wifi is now turning off, change to user mode, This message does not stay for too long on the scree. I read about this and based on certain forums decided to us KIES3 to redo the stock firmware. It was during this process that i noticed the messages (mention below) in recovery mode.
E: failed to mount /efs (invalid argument)
dm-verity verification failed...
I still went ahead and re flashed the stock firmware assuming it would fix all issues, but it did not. Not sure if this phone was rooted at sometime or not. Any help would be much appreciated.
Hello everyone!!
Hello, I have been searching the forums for a half hour and I haven't found any solution , so I am creating this thread.
A friend of mine brought me this dead onda 979m (original version is 975m, but mine is a gold color so it is 979m)
The problem is that when I turned it on the black screen, lights up very little and then it turns off.
If I turned on and start touching the screen everywhere is boots on Android system recovery
I have tried restoring the android through sd but I get these messages
E: failed to mount/cache (block device required)
E:cant mount/ cache
E: can't open cache/recovery/last install
.
.
.
.
. and many other same messages
What should I do?
