Code:
This is an unofficial release based on the sources provided by various other authors. Flashing this software may or may not void your warranty; it is your responsibility to know if that is the case.
hyperUnicorns is a variant of Dirty Unicorns that implements custom optimizations.
Built with ArchiDroid optimizations
Built with HYPERTC 4.9.4/6.1.1 (arm-linux-androideabi/arm-eabi)
Built with Snapdragon LLVM Compiler 3.8
Built-in hyperLighning kernel by @nikhil18 with patches from sultan's/archiUnicorns Kernel and other sources, focused on efficient, everyday performance
Linaro sources for art, dalvik, sqlite, lz4, webp and dhcpcd
Latest SQlite
Latest CodeAurora wlan drivers
Improved Krait targeting
Sony Music
Snapdragon Camera
All the goodies from DU 11.6 (Android 7.1.2)
If you're not coming from another DU build, you should factory reset. Otherwise, simply wiping /system, /cache, and Dalvik/ART cache should be fine.
Flash the ROM.
Flash any other mods/etc. you want (e.g. Magisk, ARISE, GApps). I currently use OpenGapps without an issue on this ROM.
If you have any issues with camera breaking after taking just one photo, disable zero shutter lag in your camera settings!
hyperUnicorns 7.1.2
archiUnicorns 6.0.1
Core/unmodified parts of DU: DirtyUnicorns
Tweaked/modified modules: hyperUnicorns
Known Issues and Warnings
DO NOT flash custom kernels. You will likely either run into a bootloop or bust your camera support. Sometimes, the camera doesn't work even after dirty flashing back to stock. In that case, wipe /system and then reflash the ROM.

Great to see you make a thread here! Thank you for bringing us this rom with optimizations.
Nice! Questions tho:
1.) Can I dirty flash this over SYNTHETIC DU by bobglaus?
2.) Are you using Sultan's kernel?
3.) Camera RAW Capture support?
Hi Dev,
While you have already decided to use Sultan's Audio and Display drivers, any plans to use his camera HAL/drivers in this rom as well?

1. You can, but it's safer if you at least wipe /system first. If you run into issues dirty flashing, wipe /system and then flash the ROM (you don't even lose data/apps this way).
2. No, there were some compilation issues that I'm still working out. I'd really love to include Sultan's kernel, but I'm still trying to figure it out.
3. I think so, but only with a custom camera app (Camera FV-5). I don't know if that's the answer you were looking for.

Like with Sultan's kernel, there were issues when I tried to include them; I would like to use Sultan's camera HAL if possible as well.

1.) Wow. I wish I did that when I switched from official DU to DU SYNTHETIC.
2.) Good luck with that
3.) I asked cuz I thought you were using Sultan's Camera HAL (doesnt have RAW I believe cuz its based on OxyOS. Idk now tho)
Thanks for answering! Currently downloading.

How have you done it?
I've followed OP indications with no success and my power/volume rockers aren't functioning!
To those who have problem enabling hardware keys, could you try flashing the hardware key enable zip from this post? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60015354&postcount=2

bravo, very nice work. before installing the ROM, a quick question? fast charge loading works ??
thank you
Thanks for your hard work.Ive only 2 questions:-
1.Is it based on latest kernel & Latest CM13
2.Volte is working?
This is a brilliant, brilliant ROM, thank you!
Things I noticed not working:
- Hall sensor (waking up screen when magnetic cover is opened)
- Camera API 2 - the api is enabled in Build Prop, but if I enable it in an alternative camera app, I'll just get black screen (I tested with FV5 and Snap). It worked fine on Indian 16s stock ROM
- Google Duo app - camera image will freeze after a brief moment. Related to the above, Duo works if Camera API 2 is disabled in build prop (persist.camera.HAL3.enabled set to 0). So I guess any app that attempt to use Camera API 2 will fail to work.

Hello Volte working on this rom?
Installed it, It's working great so far, except for the, already stated issue with the, camera. Other camera apps fail to gain access to the camera and you just get a black screen and google camera hangs. I am still testing it out. Another issue is the network...it seems to be a bit weaker than the stock rom. but it's not much to write it off. Finger print sensor seems to be working better than what it was doing on the stock 17s ROM. If I notice any other things I will update. But great work and thanks for sharing.

In the next 3 days I will be busy, then I continue with this ROM. I think next week we make work VoLTE & WiFi Calling, I have some ideas how to do it (but no time for now).
Omfg. Thanks you very much
Very smooth:good:
waiting for volte fix
I will try that now. RR was brilliant.
Will Xposed work? Is it themeable?
I will try both of it now.
Thank you, @andr68rus
PS. Installed. Tested. Xposed perfect. CM theme engine on board. Flawless performance. Fast like hell. Battery looks good so far (but if course too early to judge).
Weird thing I noticed seems to be a better Wifi reception. Is that even possible? That's nothing a ROM would usually influence?
Very good Rom so smooth..... I miss Auto call Recording
Cool! But I just want to know, is there any different between this and RR? They look very similar.

Also it can be dirty flash over RR/LOS

Good job! I'm trying and works fine. Sometimes a little lag with animations, but is not excessive. I'll full charge battery tonight and I'll post about battery.
This ROM has a good personalization, but can you add an option to exchange back button with recents button? I'm used to have back button at the left.
Very good ROM, for me, for now I like it a lot.

Hey, thanks for the new ROM!
I was on your RR ROM and dirty flashed this AOKP over it and am having quite a few issues.
A few apps are missing now. Most notably google play.
Also the front facing camera doesn't work. It doesn't even show it as an option in my camera apps.

Maybe I'll flash back to RR for now. Or clean install this ROM.

Hey there, I want to share One Plus Camera App v1.4 with all Moto G2 Titan users, this is made from Nexus device mod (Check credits), so this camera is a port basically, I modded a lil them and am sharing because its completely working on our moto G2 and it made my capturing experience much better on G2, besides it has timelapse option in default, however, slow mo camera doesnt work on it, but timelapse, panorama, then HDR/HD pictures are more sharper than normal moto G stock camera or snapdragon camera (to me), it has even sort of burst mode enabled on it too, just long tap on capture button, and voila it starts capturing so fast! moreover, i felt the shutter delay is very much improved
WARNING: Make a nandroid backup, before testing stuffs, you should do that always
HOW TO INSTALL:-
1)Download the Oxygen Camera zip(in attachments)
-Flash Oxygen Camera flashable zip
Tested on:
Nougat Based
Pure Nexus for Titan Unofficial AOSP based
ViperOS Coral Based on LOS 14.1
AOSP Extended 4.6
AOKP
LOS 14.1
Whats working:
Everything except Slo-Mo
Share your experiences, so that i can ensure about other roms too, it should work on other roms

Flashed correct enabler for lineage and ****ed up my boot. Last lineage build, it was working perfect until flashed.
Anyone have flashed this? How is it working as compared to Moto's camera?
I already have two camera i.e. Snapdragon Cam and Moto Z camera. I don't want to flash another camera if it has similar quality.
Thanks

Your kernel is stock los kernel right? did you try the second hal enabler? that one which is for omni 7? i didnt try the latest build of LOS, and like I said i tested on AOSP based roms, and asked for user experiences, test stuffs should only be tried when you have a nandroid backup

Okay thanks for your report, its not WORKING on stock LOS kernel it seems, so install a custom kernel like ZER0 byte kernel, and try it, and let me know if it works, and always make a nandroid backup cmon
The thing is I'm running my own kernel (Samurai kernel, I didnt publish on XDA yet), so I didnt notice it doesnt work on stock LOS or not, sorry for that

As I said on thread, the shutter delay is near to zero, before applying this mod, shutter delay wasnt that annoying but not good like now, besides, if you hold capture button it allows you to capture in burst mode, not like high end device, but cool! I didnt try any other camera app after HAL3 enabling, but I can see more sharper pictures now, here am attaching a picture with no editing, so your answer according to me- We can get more features such burst mode/HD mode/HDR+ and i can say we cant get better quality than default I believe with these HAL3 drivers+One Plus Camera I tried Snapdragon Cam, Moto Z cam and the professional mode enables moto cam, but to me, it was best, and i thought its worth sharing here, Try it, you will feel it, and if you dont, thats okay as well but surely let me know how it went on your device mate

I will later, and this kernel was built from ZER0 bytes source, though I modified stuffs and applied some magics lol but you can still get zero byte kernel on xda 90% same performance
And I recommend AEX or Pure Nexus with this one, goes fine, any other goes fine as well, but these two are my personal fav

this was the last version I compiled on my ubuntu Its pretty stable, but perhaps not that much battery friendly unless you tweak it using kernel adiutor, no recommended settings for that, tweak it as your wish
Can i directly flash your kernel on top of Evolution kernel?

Is it different from the one made by jhenrique
FM not working.
Thanks for this ROM! Performance is slightly better than the previous version! I installed google cam by the Play Store is working perfectly, including recording in 4K and Focus effect!
Thanks for the update! Finally someone updated it.
There are still the same bugs as before:
• NFC doesn't work (now it doesn't even show up in the menu)
• FM Radio doesn't work (the app starts but remain blank when plugging headphones)
• The camera doesn't record at 60FPS
EDIT: The camera I used is the Stock Camera.
Thank you for the update.
Can this be dirty flashed over the jhenrique version? Does anyone who had the issue of having to reboot to get mobile data know if it has been fixed with this release?
Jio signal drop problem
There was constant signal drop problem on Jio sim with the rom! It would go and come! Idk the problem is constant with jio in almost all roms! Is that signal fluctuation fixed? Because no changelog is given! Thanks in advance buddy!
+1, any possibility of a changelog/safe for dirty flash confirmation?

Did you notice any other bug(s)?
Unable to record 60fps from default camera or any third party cams also won't record?
If possible please check Encryption and SafetyNet without Magisk also.
Thanks.

I haven't noticed any other bugs.
I used the Stock Camera.
I haven't tested encryption yet and for my use I don't need it, sorry.
Magisk installs correctly and bypasses SafetyNet successfully (You may need to enable MagiskHide for some apps).

Hi I have a XT1680 and fingerprint it's not working. I tried a clean installation but no way
Thanks, excellent work
Yeah 60FPS camera doesnt work in multiple Pie and Oreo roms.
Network problem on PE 9.0.
Now even the update is rolled out voLTE is still missing in the settings. Please do something for it brother. Because thread shows voLTE in what's working colum. I have XT1686.
Fingerprint sensor is not working, XT1683
fingerprint is not working in recent update of 23/11/2018 there is no option to set fingerprint in security settings.
Deactivate single sim card only hides signals, still getting calls.
Brother do you face the problem of missing voLTE ?
And of there is some solution to this problem please reply.
Volte is works fine, only icon is missing. And also moto cam video recording is ****ed up, previously workin fine.
