I have $200 on my Samsung pay visa card. Is there any way to transfer it to my bank of America account?

BoGo money is different from.this 200$ reward..for BoGo you get a prepaid card but for this they will add the points to your Samsung pay
Samsung pay rewards can be treated as debit. I just ran down to wally world earlier and grabbed a prepaid mastercard and loaded it up in store, paid with the samsung prepaid visa card via MST since theres no native samsung pay in my walmart. Had to make the value + activation costs less than the total balance on my samsung rewards card. I did it by $5, worked for me. I was hoping to load the giftcard back into samsung pay and milk some more rewards out of it, but that particular brand (vanilla) of gift cards is incompatible with samsung pay. Was hoping my mastercard gc would let me get that $10 gc from amazon and get a little more money out of the system.

I tried that with the BOGO Mc. Didn't work even tho the issuing bank was on the list.
If you want Samsung Pay gift card transferred you need to purchase a physical gufy card and use that to get the cash. Will be like a 5.95 fee

Can we use that gift card to get cash? How can we do that?
Update: I bought American Express bluebird prepaid card and paid with Samsung pay. I can then transfer the American Express money to my bank account...

Just a heads up to anyone considering a NT - today only B&N are giving a $25 gift card free with online Nook orders.
If you use ebates.com, you can get another 10% off rebate. To get the gift card you must charge it to mastercard. If first time using ebates you can bag another $10 B&N gift card for signing up.

So $250 for the tablet and you will get $35 gift cards back and $25 cash back just by sign up with ebates and using a mastercard to purchase it. Good Deal. Here's a link:

Wonder if you can also add B&N membership online? It costs $25 but, in store at least, they take the $25 off the price of the NT. Don't know if its the same online or not.

Ebates doesn't work for nook...
Just a heads up, I tried the ebates cash back and barnes & noble said the coupon code wasn't valid, which is also the fine print on ebates coupon. I did use a mastercard so I should at least get the $25 gift card.

I did that, went through ebates which redirected me and when it got to the checkout it put in a code automatically generated that said it wasn't valid. I clicked on the code details and it was the 10% cash back. If I get the 10% anyways, thats cool, but at a minimum I'll get the $25 gift card.
Edit: Here's the fine print:
Special Conditions for Barnes and Noble
Exclusions: Cash back is not available on customizable gift cards, eBooks
Special Terms: The Nook is excluded from all Barnes & Noble coupon offers unless otherwise specified.

Lame yes, but the $35 worth of gift cards is still up for grabs. And, thats better than just paying $249 and getting nothing extra for it.

Ok, so I learned that ebates doesn't give cash back on Nook purchases. Now if you buy B&N gift cards (not customizable ones), that should qualify for cash back (8% as of now 11/30/11). B&N also has a $10 eGift card for every $100 gift card purchased promotion ($10 to be given after Christmas 12/26/11). Buy $200 in gift cards and get $20 later. You will also qualify for first ebates $10 gift card and cash back ($200 x 8% = $16). So if you're willing to wait for gift cards and cash back later, you can spend $200 and get $30 back in gift cards and $16 cash back via ebates!

Hello! can i use the $50 gift card on the note when i pre order it? Also, if it is released on the 19th, and ships on the 19th, wouldn't it make more sense to just wait until the 19th and buy it in store? I live in Dickson City, PA and i dont see there to many people buying the phone. thanks!
Also, i dont mind making my Mom take me to BB early on Sunday (the 19th)
Did you pre-order in store or online? This has been explained in the BB thread. When you pre-order in store, you put $50 down but get a $50 gift card right away. When you pick up the phone, you pay the rest and get another $50 GC. You can use the first $50 GC to pay for the phone. But I think you can't use the second GC because it is not available until you paid the phone. In the end, you pay $299 total and get a $50 GC.

Phone Freedom Q&A says you can pay for phone with the card (second) when you pick it up in-store. It's only when you order online that you have to use the card on a future purchase.

That's not my understanding. What I got from the post is that when you order online, you don't get the first GC at all.
Whatever the results, it seems in store is always better because those CSRs are more motivated to have the you instead of the online robot got the credit.

You cannot use the $50 gift card for the preorder. The gift card is populated at the end of the activation of the upgrade. So you will have to put up $50 for the preorder (in which you get turned into a $50 gift card) then when you come to upgrade, use the $50 preorder gift card and the $50 phone freedom gift card, then $200 on top. out of pocket= $250
I did 3 phone freedom gift cards today on other upgrades

Wait sorry but I'm confused. Do I end up spending $299 and getting a $50 gift card or do I end up spending $250?
Sent from my Apple Newton MessagePad 2100
I also have another question. I received a text when I signed up for the gift card, but not an email. Am I still eligible?

You get the phone freedom $50 card once the upgrade is complete. Then you pay. So you can use the $50 from phone freedom you just got towards the 299 which means you spent 250 for the phone. 50 for preorder+ 200 for phone

If you received a text, you're fine. It really just goes by phone number because that's what will be used for the upgrade

PURCHASING YOUR PHONE IN STORE
If you purchase and activate your mobile phone at Best Buy or Best Buy Mobile stores using your registered phone number, you will receive a $50 gift card instantly that may be used toward your mobile phone purchase or any other future purchase in store or online with no expiration date.
you can use the card at the time of purchase of the phone
thanks for all the help so far guys. I just preordered it! I preordered the white one but... The guy said they may only get black. Oh well. Worst case scenario I get an awesome black phone.
My troubles never end with this phone! Now I looked at my confirmation email and it says "order total: $749.99" I ordered the 2yr one! That should be $299!!! I guess I'm off to best buy again tomorrow!
Am I able to use a visa prepaid vanilla gift card to add funds to my Google wallet?
It Should
I see no reason why it shouldn't.
It acts like a regular credit card
Here is a quote from Visa's Website:
How do I make a purchase with my Visa Gift card?
Using your Visa Gift card is similar to using a credit card. When you are ready to pay, give the card to the cashier and ask to sign the purchase receipt.
Most Visa Gift cards do not come with a PIN, so you should not push DEBIT. if using a keypad. This will cause your transaction to be declined. Instead, press the CREDIT button and then sign the receipt.
Each time your card is used for a purchase, that amount is automatically deducted from your balance. It is recommended that you know your balance before making a purchase because many merchants will not be able to provide that information.
It is important to note that the Visa Gift card is 'non-reloadable', which means that additional money cannot be added to the balance of the card. The card does not offer a line of credit like a credit card. The initial value available for use is determined by the person who purchased the card.
If your gift card states Valid only in the United States on the front, the issuer has issued a Domestic Use Only card. Although your gift card will not be accepted at locations outside of the United States, it’s welcome at millions of locations within the United States where Visa Debit cards are accepted.

Dear xda members,
I have some trouble getting a credit card ready to pay with Google Wallet so i can enter the Play Store.
But i can buy a Play Store gift card. Can i redeem the gift card and pay the developer fee with the money that came from the gift card?
If not, are there any other options to pay the fee with PayPal or without a creditcard?
Many thanks,
Tim

I'm tired of calling in all the time to fix my bill.
Why I can't **** w T-Mobile
Is it supposed to be $5 too?
Yes 5. Not sure what the 11.50 is in the bill.
Wearable Plan
The plan for the Samsung S in the billing system is 15/month. When customers have a regular "voice" line, there is a $10 discount automagically applied to "most" Mobile Internet plans (such as for a tablet or hotspot, since this is where the wearable plan is located in our system, only 1 MI plan doesn't qualify for this discount) which makes the plan $5 bucks.
From what can be seen, the first part is for the first days of service (the first month), the second 5 is for the second month, and the system just forgot to give you the corresponding credit on the first month. If my math clocks out, it should have been 4.17 for the first month with corresponding MI Discount... Hangover math, take as you will.
Correct me if I'm wrong but isnt there a $10.00 sim kit activation fee pluss taxes and fees maybe that's what it could be?

LOL probably not. The store charged the 10$ not the one that came in the box. However you can call Customer Service and see if they will credit you 10$ it's the holiday season they may just have a heart
