Today I woke up, put my phone to charge and after couple of hours, I see that the phone has not charged even 1%. It has completely stopped charging. Tried using other cables, other sockets. Even other chargers. It's not charging. Any help?
Android version : 8.0.0
Nitrogen OS Build - 31-oct
Chargers tried - Auckey 2.0, official xiaomi charger.

Maybe the charger or just the cable may be faulty so you need to check first.
Second, if you are turning off wifi from the toggle, then try turning it off from the settings manually. If you think this is related to the ROM, then you can ask in the relevant thread for assistance.

How do i reset my battery and deep charge ?
1. Slow charging is because bad charger (if you have root and for example Boeffla kernel, you can force fast charge).
2. Wifi always on is because you have set in wifi -> advanced ->always allow searching for accurate location.
The names of path and settings are probably wrong, because i have Czech language, so i dont know how it is called in English.
Solution:
1. buy new charger
2. turn off searching wifi for location purposes.
Before buying a new charger altogether, you can just test what happens if you try to charge it via usb port, you should have a microsd cable lying around somewhere. USB ports only give 500mA but it should still charge in a few hours.
If it still doesnt charge, it might be either the charger module in the phone or the battery. I had a faulty microusb input in my old i9100, it prolonged charging hours.
charge to 100%,open rootexploer ,find /data/system/ba tterystats.bin, delet it,never charge it until it drains completely。
Switched chargers and now it charges in 3 hours...
Since you're on Boeffla Kernel, you can download and use "Boeffla-Config" and increase the AC charging current from 1100 mA to a higher number and turning off Ignore Unstable Power and Ignore Safety Margin.
And increase USB charging current from 475 to 500 mA this will provide you with faster charging speeds.
P.S Increasing USB Charge Current To anything beyond 500 mA has no effect on USB 2.0 ports since these ports provide only 500 mA output current no more.
Hi,
I am having issues with my charger EP 881 , it is getting very hot during charging and also charging slow (approx 15%/hr). I tried my friends charger (same model) and it is also having the same issue. Does anyone else facing this issue? What can be wrong . I tried using different electricity ports , still problem is same. Many Thanks!

Installed factory image still same issue. How much is your per hour charge percentage while charging? Is there an amp which can measure current inflow from Charger?

I dont really notice how much percent per hour, coz i usually charge till full. From 0 to full likely take 3-4 hour. Both using magnetic or usb charger.

Quick Charge is disabled on Z2
the stock provided charger will charge the phone as fast and as safe as possible

At least 2 times I have noticed that my honor 7 charges extremely slow also using original charger. I have to reboot my device to reach normal charge speed. Have somebody noticed the same problem? Which could be the cause?
Hi Albus , Did you check if u switched off fast charge option in battery settings?

Yes, I have this option switched off but I'm talking about VERY slow charging (like 2% in half hour). It happens only some random times apparently and I think it's a software issue since everything is ok after reboot (I have B121 software version).
I am also on B121 and have noticed this as well, with my main charger its fine, however with a couple of others it hardly charges even after hours.
Updated to B140, I'll let you know if it happens again..
I am having Honor 4x. Even I too have the same problem. It takes nearly 9-10 hours for my mobile to complete charging. It happens every time when I try to charge my battery.
@Albus91 Did you tried it after factory resetting the device? It might help sometimes.
I m using 4X I have same problem.....battery charging very slow means 8,9 hour need full charge and backup OK.....I formatted my phone but still same

Try a different charger with different cable to know if it's charger related or phone related.

When you say formated, you mean factory reset?
Have you tried with a different charger and cable to exclude the cause?
with this kind of problem, it's either the charger or the battery that has a problem.
Hey,
Any ideas why phone charging can get slower ?
Using original 5V 2A charger, phone updated to Android 6.0.
It is charging around 5% per 10 mintes, but should be charging by 50% in 30 minutes.
Also I can not find setting for fast charging ... maybe it is gone after phone update ?
Thanks,
Janis

The speed should be around 1% per minute.
Max amperage delivered should be around 1.8A to 1.82A. This behaviour is for B330 and above.

Any official source about that? I was thinking it's same with Lollipop but I guess I was wrong. Cuz I did not realized any speed issue.

The fast charging option is gone after the update, yes.
The fone charging slowly can happen due to many reasons, charger defect, device defect, custom rom installed, any app conflicting. Did you have any of that?
My v30 was charging just fine on oreo using samsung adaptive fast charger (it go from 0% to 100% in about 1h 45min) but since i upgraded to pie (i didn't factory reset after the update) it now take 3h 30min to fully charge.. I been monitoring the charge speed using accubattery and it's averge charge speed is 843mah (same in both screen on and off charge speed..) Tried with different samsung 5v 2a charger and zte z981 qc 2.0 charger still the same result, not sure where is the problem but i believe it's the pie update itself..
