I recently flashed a BlackX rom for this device and It doesnt have the LeRemote apk. I couldn't find it anywhere, please help. Could someone tell me how I look for the apk in the stock ROM? Or even better, cloud someone upload the apk for me? Please help...

Well... I am the developer of the rom and I can assure you it's there. If you're using the stock launcher, it's at the row with the letter R

Just try a clean flash, there is no reason it wouldn't work

Heyyo, yeah LOS 14.1 doesn't come with the remote APK. There's plenty of other ROMs that do though. Pretty much anything made by andr68rus, SlimRoms and BlackX as KuranKaname mentioned.
I FOUND THE ANSWER
You can find the apk in Google. But it won't work because your SeLinux mode is not in permissive.
-Make sure your phone is rooted
-Install BusyBox
-Install SeLinux mode Toggler
-Toggle the mode to permissive

Please show respect by not hijacking threads with unrelated questions. Start a new thread for your enquiry.
You need to adb push the rom zip to the phone and flash it in TWRP.

Hi all, I've flashed this ROM yesterday and this is the best ROM that I tried and really suits for me. The only thing that I found out not working is that the camera would be inverted and red.
I wanna know if anyone could point me to a tread on how to fix this. I couldn't make a comment on that particular ROM tread as I have yet to made 10 comment.

Tried and only fix the inverted axis. The red photo view (and the photo itself) and the auto focus still persist.
Still looking forward for all of your help.

By the way Sandy7, I've tried your HASA 5 and the camera works fine. Fine works there. Maybe some of your setting could be merged with PhoLeBulOus ROM? I've tried copying the camera lib files and replace it and compile it into PhoLeBulOus and re-flash it but still the same. well, I just trying to be a little smart here but it failed

It seems the last procedures > 4.flash cam fix > 5.reboot makes it inverted again.
It's okay. I did PMed ' speedy walkman ' the maker of this PholeBulous Rom V1.1 about this problem. Hopefully he could make a fix on this.
uploaded the fix plzz reflash ur rom and using root explorer delete camera.semc.so in libs-->hw okk and then flash fix in the thread
or u can oped the pholebulous rom in ur pc delete it there flash rom and then reeboot and then flash the fix

Flashing done but I got a boot loop. I've tried to find camera.semc.so in libs-->hw but there is none. So I just flash the fix. (I do this after a fresh flash ROM and reboot). And I got a boot loop.
I've tried to merge the files that you gave but well, it is another boot loop. Maybe the script are not scripted well. Or, something is wrong somewhere.
I've tried to access your ROM with my PC and sure enough the is no camera.semc.so in libs-->hw.
But we are almost getting this problem solve... Will wait for your fix.

When downloading you will find that the available packages named d857 and d859
for D856/7/8/8HK use download d857 package 13/9 update
and use gapps in the download folder otherwise setup wizard will force close
If you having issues flashing the rom try to use TWRP recovery in download folder
After installation use cct mod for marshmallow to reduce heat

Rom works ok, however dirty flash brought many app force closes so I had to wipe and fresh reinstall. The task switcher menu with all the quick switches (wifi, data, etc.) has been redesigned. Didn't notice any other changes.
Edit: The phone soft restarts itself after ~2 mins of idle. I don't really know what's the issue, tried cleaning caches, nothing. I'm going back to 21s, if anyone wanna investigate and check for yourself, feel free to.

soft restarts is prolly some incompatibility with the old rom from the dirty flashing. You probably need to do a clean wipe as always especially this is a developer rom.

Read my post again. I said I had to do a clean flash due to app force closes. The restarts happened AFTER a clean install.
Check your baseband version 0033 or 0050?

there is some new feature such as : desktop manager, app drawer, new gestion of recent app, fast fingerprint scan, the rom is more faster and smoother than 21s
the rom comes with supersu & xposed but a lot of chinees apps!!!
And impossible to flash gapps because the partition is too short we have code 70 so we have to resize the partition but after flash we have error from leeco
so fixed install last googleinstaler.apk and everything is fine

On stock rom you don' t need to flash gapps, you have to download Google play Store from leeco Store app only

Edit: actually is the full 19s indian rom. I downloaded it from someone's google space (I can't remember more, sorry) and the link isn't working now. Naturally, I cannot assure it's the original image.
Edit2: neither my zip contains recovery, sorry, I should have checked.

You can create free Mega account, upload files to a folder and then from original Mega client for Android generate link and password to insert here.

Thanks for reply sir..but i think these roms are same as provided in XDA thread..no recovery image in these Rom zip.
i will check later, have almost any file that aver came out for x8x. No promise though... Give me some hours...

However, I backed up my stock(?) recovery image, after flashing indian 19s and chinese 23s, from the zips without the recovery, so I guess it SHOULD be the recovery from indian 16s. Its checksum is different from the recovery you can download from the link above. If you want it, I can upload it on my androidfile space, but I cannot assure it's 100% safe.

I don't know. My guess is that it's chinese, as they deal mainly for x820, but I cannot say. My recovery SHOULD be the one that came with the phone (16s indian), as the zips I flashed did not contain another one. And it has a different checksum.
However, since ROMs are mutually interchangeable, probably recoveries are too. I think the recovery I linked you should suit your needs, as it's in a forum with many Le Max2 users. I tried my recovery and it worked too; should you need it for any reason, just tell me and I will upload it on my androidfilehost space.

Thanks bro..actually i am thinking to sale my le max 2 so i want to revert back to stock. actually m confused because leeco has stopped the service in india but le max 2 is a powerful mobile. Can you suggest me stable 7.1 for this, means Camera,battery,sound, network switching? what about cast screen feature on custom roms? In RR Marshmallow based Screen cast feature is not working.

If you want to sell your phone, I guess that cuoco ROMs (android 6.0...) are the way to go: they should have all the stock features. Android 7.1 is still progressing, but at the moment I think you could try AICP. However, I have received my phone just a couple of weeks ago and I have been just playing with it
I got Huawei Mate 20 firmware from FF and unsparsed some basic ext4 partitions, also merged two system parts and made the original system.img.
This may help to port EMUI9 to existing Kirin and even Qualcomm devices(https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=77369509&postcount=11).

I would only use this for research/educational purposes. If you flash everything in the zip you will have a nice brick.
Yeah i already decided not to flash.I almost flashed system.img untill i saw los16 release for my device
is impossible system.img emui 9.0 works in others devices ¿??¿
It looks like the system image is missing quite a bit from it. A shame. Nothing from /priv-app or /framework.
I opened system.img and in there are several folders with no content inside whoever tries to install will kill the cell phone

I wonder what would happen if we took files from a running EMUI 9 and added here.
