Running stock Lollipop 5.0.1 - can I flash this ROM straight over it or do I have to upgrade to Marshmallow first?
Btw, when you say "full wipe," what exactly needs to be wiped? System/data/cache/dalvik cache? I don't want to lose root access, obviously.

I'm just a bit worried about wiping 'System'. Surely this would mean that I'll lose root access and therefore be unable to flash anything?
Sorry for all the questions btw, I'm new to LG phones.

no. if you install recovery you'll always be able to flash whatever you want, regardless of root. just make sure you can reliably boot into recovery before you wipe.

screenshot is working but not the Screenrecord..the option that has to be enabled in power menu via beanstalk settings...And please tell me where is kill app via back button..i really need that
Another bug I'm facing is that sometimes it happens that when i reboot or power off and then boot again, bootanimation hangs..I've to remove battery, got to recovery, clear dalvik cache and then boot again...Its not happening often but its really annoying when it does..
As to the kernel..I've installed the one given in the zip and have done clean install twice now...the problems persist.
Is this ROM still updating ?

Booting fine for me. Only difference I can think of if we're all doing clean wipes is that I'm decrypted. Those with trouble booting, encrypted or decrypted?
Ehh, and since it always comes up in every CM based ROM thread, did you flash the 29P vendor image in fastboot? Or did you use the zip from Beans?
For the sake of brevity, if it's not booting, try flashing the latest vendor.img through fastboot and see if that gets it going.
Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
not booting.. did what it says in the instructions.. clean wipe, flash rom and did a factory wipe...
If coming from an AOSP based ROM, try deleting the /vendor/overlay folder or uninstalling all Layers through the Layers Manager app.

Oh, nice work man, this build is working pretty much stable and smooth. Well done.
Any chance someone switched from TeamOctos to this? My phone started to slow down to a crawl sometimes, and I'm looking for alternatives. Need some opinions on how this behaves before I wipe everything again :/

CHANGELOG
OK I'll make a better write-up later when I have the time, but for now: I've been using this ROM on my Galaxy S5 and I've come to like it so much I started making builds and uploading them (for safekeeping, all my HDD's are worrisome at best) for my Galaxy Tab 4. These are usually untested when first uploaded, they will only work on SM-T530, SM-T530NU, SM-T531, and SM-T535 and I don't have time to provide proper support. I'm sharing these because you guys found them and asked me to, flash at your own risk. That said, happy flashing and enjoy :good:
If you find you don't have root, please read this: http://lineageos.org/Update-and-Build-Prep/
The flashable zip referred to in the above link can be found here: https://download.lineageos.org/extras
We are arm (as opposed to arm64 or x86).
The above refers to the root option that used to come built in to Lineage/Cyanogenmod. If you would prefer, I can personally confirm SuperSU stable (v2.79) also works with this ROM. Please install SuperSU through recovery, not the Play Store, as installing through the Play Store can lead to issues.

Camera works?
From where?
NO, camera does not work...but I really love this rom...running smooth, looking great
Excellent ROM. Runs smoothly. Exactly what I need. Thanks for building it. Would be just perfect if camera worked.
Thanks for the ROM, works pretty fine apart from the camera that i would personally never use
Cheers!
Hi! Thank you for this new ROM, maybe I will try it. I want to have Nougat on my tab. Which TWRP version to prefer? I've the version 3.0.0-0 from Teamwin website on mine. Must I upgrade to a newer TWRP? And are there any critical bugs other than the camera one on this ROM? Is OpenCamera from play store working as camera app? It do work on Dirty Unicorns. Is someone using the ROM as a daily driver? Thanks again!
@thisisapoorusernamechoice great thanks for your new build v.2.2 . On the end i get 13chanell wifi . Because in this build appeared selection of region wifi . :good::good::good:
Also appeared Doze mode. Fantastic ROM!!!
@thisisapoorusernamechoice i know its a bit Offtopic and i wouldnt take this as a request or anything, i just wanted to know if there is any possibility of merging OMS commits in the ROM so we can use Substratum Engine?
Thanks!

No promises, but I'll give it a try, I'd like to have this too. I'm still very much in the noob stage of ROM building lol
Hi. Thanks for the ROM. But is it only for me, that there is no ROOT?

LineageOS-based ROMs no longer come with root by default. If you want the stock Lineage root option (as opposed to SuperSU or other 3rd party root options), there is a flashable zip you need to flash in recovery. Read more about it here: http://lineageos.org/Update-and-Build-Prep/
The zip can be downloaded from here: https://download.lineageos.org/extras We are arm (as opposed to arm64 or x86). Please note this will only work if you hit the thanks button on this post

Hi. Substratum from GP and masquerade works perfectly on this rom.
@thisisapoorusernamechoice What TWRP version to use? I've 3.0.0-0 from Teamwin website (by sub77). But he has a whole range of TWRP versions. Second, what root option do you recommend? Lineageos or superSU?

I've been using both 3.0.2-8 and 3.0.3-0 from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=40744 with no issues. Both lineageos root and supersu work fine, I've been using supersu mostly out of habit/familiarity

It was already unchecked, still no luck. All other gestures work fine, only the recents does not.
EDIT: If I set the action to recent apps switcher in the crDroid settings to a long press on the digital scanner it works. Apparently the problem is with the moto actions fingerprint gestures. Still pretty strange since all moto action gestures work just fine.

a password, normally it's your google account, at home it works properly, what version of the gapps do you use?
Sorry I couldn't figure out the problem so I factory reset the device and installed the ROM again now it works so accept the recent moto action this ROM is lovely and provides a lot of option to configure your device and has much better performance than stock rom
I'm unable to play local music off my SD card. Is this a known issue?
It says it's playing but nothing happens and the song stays at 0:00.
This happens on the stock player and BlackPlayer Ex.
