unlock bootloader required. so first apply for unlocking bootloader. after that twrp and rooting is very easy..!!

bro it is impossible to root rn4 sd without unlocking bootloader. so bootloader unlocking is must.

Used flasher toolkit to flash twrp, after that changed to alka twrp and used it to flash superSU.zip.

No need to unlock bootloader, just use the SP flash tools method.

I tried to root my redmi note 4 . Once root done I restarted the phone I see my device not booting up

>OK, now try to reflash TWRP using fastboot commands, boot to TWRP > flash lazyflasher.zip > reboot.

if you did what failed?
I suggest you using the orange fox recovery, I tried before the red wolf but couldnt make it work on latest versions. Once you have the recovery, install magisk.
