There has never been the feature. I have a Fast Wireless Charger, since Android 8 respectively since the S9 is out there.

The setting appeared in my s9+ and also in my gf's s7 AFTER charging them for the first time in my Samsung wireless charger (EP-N5100)
So if your wireless charger is from Samsung, check if the fan is getting enabled while charging because it only does while fast charging.

I have a Samsung Fast Charger (Wireless) but there is no option for me while charging (EP-PN920).
Edit: My fault, my problem was the usb cable.
Sorry for misunderstanding in my very first post... I have no option about wireless charging in phone's options nor when I put phone on wireless charger itself there is still nothing (in options or charging at all). Wireless charger is original Samsung and original cable so this is not the case.
Tomorrow I will try to flash stock firmware (which I am still using = as out of the box) via Odin if it helps.
Who would have guessed that the problem is metallic piece for magnetic car mount...?

Reverse Wireless Charging.

Does anyone have tried the reverse wireless charging feature?
I have bought the Jabra Elite 75t Wireless earbuds and the case is Qi Wireless Charging compatible and when I try to charge using the MI 10 reverse wireless charging it gives an error and disables the reverse wireless charge.
Do I have some problem with smartphone or the earbuds, or I'm doing something wrong?
What kind of error it gives? Did you try factory reseting?
"Turned off reverse wireless charging. An error occurred during charging"
Factory resetting?
Why?
I bought my Xiaomi Mi 10 less than a month, and my Jabra Elite 75t yesterday, and you think it needs to be reseted?
I have an old 5W Qi Wireless Charger and both charges with it, so, don't know what causes this error.

HI. Did you menaged to solve this problem? I just bought 3 days ago my Mi 10 and the same error happens with my Airfun Air earbuds , which is also wireless charge capable.
Remove the case from the phone and try again. For phone to phone you have to remove the cases from both phones. The transmission is extremely weak.
Hi, did anyone fix this error? Got my MI 11 ultra trying to charge my buds plus does the same thing

Same with my Mi 11 Ultra... Stoops the reverse wireless charging after 2-5 minutes.
Seems like i am not the only one. I cannot seem to charge my Redmi Buds 3 Pro with my Mi 10 as well. And not even with the latest update. Is it a hardware issue?
Same issue here with Mi10, tried different ROMs / Firmwares but nothing helped.
Wireless charging isn't working either. Phone says it's charging, but it's draining battery. Maybe I bricked the Qi panel when changing the display.
I'll get a new one and see if this is fixing the issue.
Now I've changed the qi-charging/nfc panel, but still wireless charging is draining battery.
Weird thing is, that Ampere says it charges with 300-500mA but battery is going down.

The Qi charger you're using doesn't supply enough power. You need to use the proper XIAOMI Wireless Charging Stand to get the proper performance. These phones need upward of 33w to charge properly through wireless. The proper Xiaomi stand is 55w output.

Now I bought a new wireless charger from Xiaomi, same issue.
Mi old Mi Mix2s charges without problems.
Is it possible, that I've messed something up while I've changed my display to Chinese version (Huaxing) with a conversion board?
If you don't have a case on the phone and still get nothing then there's a problem somewhere.
Hi, sorry to reopen this but better than creating a new thread for the same issue.
I have updated to miui 14 on my 11 Ultra but wireless charging stays on for a couple of minutes and then turns itself off. I have tried:
- no cover on the MI or on the device I'm charging
- battery >70% tried both plugged in and plugged out
"An error occurred during charging. Reverse wireless charging is turned off now"
Anyone has managed to solve this?
Thanks

Same question for Mi12 Pro: anyone?

Question How to set maximum Watt on wireless charger ?

hello. (first of all I use Google translate ).
I would like to know please if there is a way to limit the power that a wireless charger can produce. Or that the phone only receives a certain wattage from the charger.
To better explain. I have a Xiaomi mi 11. Which is compatible with wireless charging up to 50watt. I bought a wireless charger (the Mi 20W Stand)... I use an official Xiaomi 27watt charger. Which provides me with the maximum power of the wireless charger ( 20watt )
But the phone heats up quickly. I tried using an 18watt charger to got a maximum of 10watt charge from the wireless charger. But. The charger is limited to 7.5watt and the charge is slow.
So I would like to know if there is a way or an application to limit the phone to only receive 10watt from the wireless charger?
I don't thiink this is possible for any smartphone. Wireless charging produces heat just because of how it works. It'll always generate heat. Lots of energy is wated throught heat, which is why wireless chargers generally put out less power than wired.
I know on my S22 Ultra, there's a setting to turn off fast wireless charging. Not sure if the Xiaomi devices have something similar?

Thank you for your answer. I know Samsung has this option.but on Xiaomi no. I looked but nothing. and that's why I asked if there was a way to limit the charging reception on the smartphone. since it is the CPU that manages the battery charging
