advanced calling - LG V30 Questions & Answers

I went to surf the web while on a call and couldn't. When I went into the advanced calling setting it said updating in progress and was greyed out.
I've disabled some apps but can't figure out which one is the problem.
Does anyone know which one I shouldn't disable??

[Q] Disable internet calling on sprint evo 3d

this has been a problem since i bought the phone. it has been a problem through countless roms ive flashed. When i try to call out from the htc dialer or any other app, it asks what program i would like to use. The options are just the sip phone. no other options. when i click sip phone, the options are add or cancel. i dont want to add one and when i choose cancel, it just goes back to the previous screen. So i cant call out!! I have found a work around using the "voice Changer" calling app. This happens over wifi, 3g, 4g and even when data is off.
I have tried what other have suggested: (Go to settings > call settings > use internet calling, this should be set to "only for internet calls", also in "call settings" check "accounts", if there are any listed try to disable or delete the account.)
I have tried every option to change/ disable internet calling but im still here.
Please! Any help! Is anybody having this problem?

[Q] Can't use alternate dialers anymore

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Verizon (Lollipop). I was able to use alternate dialers up until recently, when I activated Verizon's new "Advanced Calling 1.0" feature.
Advanced Calling is Verizon's name for VoLTE (voice-over-LTE), which is supposed to provide clearer calls by using data for calls. They're rolling this out slowly and you have to opt-in, then reboot your phone. See some info here: verizonwireless.com/wcms/consumer/advanced-calling.html
Ever since I activated this, my phone seems to force me to use the original dialer. I think this is because the Advanced Calling feature won't work with other dialers.
Once I learned this, I deactivated Advanced Calling. It only works if both phones have it anyway, and since almost no one has this yet, and I would rather use my own dialer, it wasn't worth the trouble.
However, even after deactivating Advanced Calling, my phone still won't let me choose a different dialer. I've rebooted and cleared all defaults, but my phone still won't even pop up the default chooser screen for calls. I can start another dialer manually, but after dialing or touching a contact name, the original stock dialer then opens to complete the call.
Assuming you've actually read this far, any ideas on what I can do to fix this?

Missing calls, no logs when screen is off

I used to have the same issue and decided to reflash my ROM and reinstall apps one by one and my phone stopped having this issue but now is back. The issue is that whenever my screen is off and I receive a call my phone rings for a second and then it stops, when I go check who called there's no notification or log about the call. Anybody having this issue. I know it must be a app issue but have no idea which app.
The only app I have installed that could mess with it is GravityBox but I looked trough all the settings, disabled it and uninstalled it and it still does the same problem. But I am pretty sure it has something to do with it.
I also looked into the Call Forwarding option and disabled it but it still does he same thing. This is driving me nuts. I can only receive calls or see whos calling by having my screen on!

Voice Mail Settings Not Enabled

I have a Samsung Galaxy Core Prime SM-G360T1, from Metro PCS. I have noticed in Settings, under Voicemail, that the VM Settings are not enabled (grayed out).
Does anyone know a way, maybe a service code, which will enable these settings. I am trying to block undesirable callers from leaving a VM on my phone.
Metro is of no help. They tell me to call Samsung. Samsung says that is the way Metro wanted their phones built (firmware).
I have tried several Blocker Apps that were suppose to hang up on the caller, and not allow them to leave a Voice Message, but none have worked so far.
The blocked call still allows the Voice Mail to be activated. I am thinking the answer may lie in the grayed out Settings on the phone.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I believe it would have to do with the combination of settings... are dev. Optn. On or off
Thanks for your response. Developer Options are off, but since seeing your response, I have tried viewing the Voicemail Settings
with the DO's turned on. They still appear disabled (grayed out).

Verizon V10 (VS990) [root + Xposed] Advanced Calling issues

Has anyone else had issues enabling Advanced Calling after root and Xposed? I go to Settings -> Advanced Calling -> Activate Advanced Calling , and after I "Activate" and reboot, the "Activate Advanced Calling" does not grey out and does not activate my HD Voice features. Anyone have any ideas or similar behavior?
Verizon V10 (VS990), VS99011B rooted, Xposed v80
I have root+Xposed also but when I click on 'Activate Advanced Calling', nothing happens.
The feature needs to be added to your wireless account first before it will activate
Thanks, I finally figured that out yesterday before coming back to this tooic, but I'm still unable to activate it on my phone. My 'Advanced Calling' screen just says "upgrade service to..." but I activated it online in my Verizon account 8 hours and about 3 reboots ago. Any ideas?
Finally and led on phone, still doesn't work
Well, about 18 hours after I enabled the feature on my Verizon account, I was just finally able to enable it on my phone. That said, even after several hours and several reboots the feature does not work at all. Everytime my phone rings it kicks off tethering and drops down to 1x on my signal bar.
I've got the same issue, anyone figure this out yet?
