Hi there -- long time member here. I never post because I'm relatively ignorant compared to you guys but I found this software / firmware repository I thought might be useful. Unfortunately, I can't post links because I don't have ten posts and I don't see how I ever will have ten things to say that you don't already know. It's the wordpress uploads database of a website called routerunlock -- found it trying to revive a very old T-mobile hotspot. Whether the dialpad file for Huawei is of any use, I don't know, but there's useful stuff in there. I downloaded a few files I never thought I'd find for a couple of older devices in addition to the hotspot.
Anyhow -- if you can't find the uploads area using the site name, PM and I'll send the link. (sorry if this is a useless post. It's just that I've learned so much here and wish I could contribute).
For the Huawei mediapad m1?

Looking around the site and forums, a lot of great information and help. I must admit that I do not own an XDA, where I live they are available but for way too much money (also only the 32MB/32MB ones sold under QTEC). I found another version by a different maker - the ETEN P603. Most of the information available here is applicable for me, with exception to the build-in ROM programs.
But quoting from the page covering the new ROM:
"'Byte Counter' is merely a link to a handy traffic-measurement utlity that was already present in the Windows directory, but that few people knew about "
I have looked in my Windows directory and havn't found anything that would seem to verify this. Could anyone please advise?
One only assumes that this could be due to the fact that I do NOT own an XDA, if this be the case, my excuses for this post - would anyone like to give me a copy of theirs so that I could test it on my own devise? I would greatly appreciate to know my connection speed and stats when connected without shelling out €20 on software if it is already present on the devise.
Cheers
Ok I'll do it!
Where woukd you like it sent?
BTW its a very small 10KB file.

help
hello is anyone there??
So register on the site yourself & use one of the many translation tools that are readily available for everyone to use these days. A native Chinese speaker reading your thread & doing what you're asking (which you're easily able to do yourself with a bit of initiative/work) may never happen. It hasn't happened in 3 days, I'll lay London to a brick it won't happen if you're still here bumping this thread in a month.
I know what I'd be doing if I were you (but you won't you'll sit here forever bumping this thread waiting for something that will never happen to happen).

if i'm asking for help it means that i need it. i used the translation tool in the site but the translated text is a bit confusing. i would write directly to the post i saw the ROM in xda but i don't have enough credits to write there so that's why i'm asking here and your irony wasn't so helpful.
anyhow thanks for spending your time answering me.
Dear All,
I recently bought a dual sim Huawei model, but it came with lots of pre-installed Chinese contacts, which look like being some business phone directory input there for marketing reasons.
I already posted two threads about it, but no solution to the problem so far. I was advised by the Contributors to post in here. Here are the links to the original posts that explain everything in details:

Any kind of help would be much appreciated
Thanks,

Hi,
I understand it's a annoying question.. anyway:
anyone in the forum can provide me the latest Motorola MC9190 firmware upgrade (for Windows Embedded Handheld 6.5 Classic)?
Because the company that gave support just closed. And according to Zebra / Motorola support it is only possible to download firmware if the device still has warranty.
Thanks
Its really hard to find windows mobile software these days. Best bet is to search google, the russian 4pda site still has loads of winmo stuff, there is also a reddit group dedicated to these old handhelds, other than that it's mostly just a sea of dead rapidshare and megaupload links, also dc++ has plenty of users from russia and so in their hard drives there is various software for the good old winmo.
