I just tried the rom and didn't notice anything strange or unusual. There are a couple of useful tweaks. Not bad for an alpha ROM!
Also, security patches' level is November 5th, good!

how is the battery and performance of the rom ??

The fact that a 4 year old device can still rock the latest Android version thanks to the dev community is just awesome. Thanks for your hard work! Haven't tested the ROM yet as the N5 is my daily driver but I will do so pretty soon!

Can't take photo with camera. Instaled Google caméra 3.0.45 and i can take photo in HDR+ but not in normal mode.

Screen mirroring or chromecast is working??

Took this ROM for a spin this afternoon. Everything seems to work great! I flashed the updated audio patch and sound works perfectly. Love how this is AOSP based so I don't have to worry about xposed bootloops 90% of the time. Also, that annoying lag when you do quick pulldown on the CM13 based roms isn't here either. Plus theres Layers support. I'll probably jump on this rom as my daily driver soon.

Not as customizable as RR but I'd say overall smoother.

Dear abinsur279, don't mind if I ask you which rom is better between this new Tesla and RR (and Aicp...), since you are developing both... The fact is that I've tried so many roms, by now, and I'd like to settle down choising one and going on with it. I hope you understand me, I want to install the rom that more probably will revert into a stable release, in the next future thank you so much!

Same as me. I am currently on AICP and two days ago, I was on RR. I will test Tesla tomorrow.

RE: the audio patch
Audio has consistently been an issue on non cm-based builds, and your audio-patch brings call audio to the slim-builds I'm working on as-well.
I noticed the seven proprietary files, and hope you are willing to share where you grabbed these .so files from, and where CM stores them (since they obviously aren't porting from the muppets)?

Battery drops too rapidly, lost 25% during night, doing nothing... Moto x has never been a champion in this field, but now its behavior is even worse! I love Tesla rom, but at this stage of development is not ready for daily use...

Battery life is fine for me.
I couldn't really find any other bugs. Only some apps could maybe force close some minutes after booting. (maybe 2 -3 mins)

Is everything working?

I switched from another 7.1 ROM here on XDA back to stock like 2 days ago. Then I check today and I see this, with everything fixed. Needless to say I flashed this instantly, and everything works. My video recording works, and I didn't even have to flash the 3G fix for my SIM cards to be detected. Wonderful ROM to start off 2017

Why dont you flash it ? you'll know.

In the gallery the font is black. Don't know if this is a ROM related problem.
The animations are not smooth and the new gestures are not implemented at the moment.

Animations are not as smooth as oreo, agree. But still they are better than among all the pie ROMs available for 5t currently
And these will be get only better with releases

As of now i hv tested opengapps they are still in beta phase but works nano would be cool

Just read the post again, was just about to complain about the camera not working haha but then saw it was listed as not working.
What would stop it working, and how can I help fix? Does it just need to find a gcam app that will work? Or is it library related or something. I have no clue but want to fix and more importantly know how to fix thanks.

I've used bitgapps. Works also. Believe it was this link I downloaded it from.
