I recently updated Nova launcher and noticed i can have the search bar under the dock icons, so i found a couple of apps that will give the exact look of the Pixel 2 launcher. Here is a step by step video about how to do it in less than 5 minutes (no root required)

I've been using Holo for about a month now....was waffling between it and Zeam after going a long time on Go Launcher. I was looking for a way to simplify my desktop into one screen with folders that feature my most used apps and trying to get a memory use reduction out of my launcher. Zeam was doing the memory thing well, but the folders were absolutely bland and unappealing, not to mention they wouldn't close after selecting an app to use. Holo does all those things well, but my only gripe is I can't seem to keep it in memory. After using a memory hungry app on my phone for an extended amount of time, the launcher has to restart when going back home. I guess I should stop expecting "smartphone" performance out of my Milestone and realize it's a touchscreen phone that can do some smart things....eventually.
Hi all,i try to run modded pixel launcher or nova launcher to replace the stock poco launcher on miui 10 beta. The custom are run fine but the icon are super ugly and old school, it doesn't follow the icon in previous poco launcher.i go into theme app and apply new themes but nothing has change on custom launcher. i believe miui 9.6 will face the same problem too.
anyone can tell how to solve this?

There's no solution for this use third party icons from playstore to replace them. I've seen this problem in every redmi series it looks like miui icons are limited to system launcher only.
Use a miui icon pack in Nova Launcher and enable resizing icons to match material guidelines, you should be fine.
I faced the same issue...I installed "Lawnchair" launcher,..and yeah the icons look ugly as hell..

Select edit from the popup menu
Tap in the app icon
Select Polycon
Choose your icon
It's quite the struggle to find something good.

There is no such function at this moment for the Mate 20 X from what i know...
Hi All,
I've just received my Redmi Note 8 Pro and so far I love it. It was updated to last MIUI 11 version and I'm using Lawnchair as a default launcher. I tried some pixel-like themes for lockscreen (from the Theme Manager App) and noticed that, no matter which theme I select, locks screen notifications show up 2 o 3 times depending on the app (e.g. 2 times for gmail, 3 times for whastapp). This doesn't happen with the default theme lockscreen.
At first I thought it was sth related with the theme I choose, but after trying between 10-15 different themes with same results, I'm starting to think is sth else.
Any Ideas?
