Bluetooth call volume low in car. - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Questions & Answers

I cant seem to turn up the in call volume past 15, it always reverts back. I was able to fix it once by unpairing it then re-pairing, but that only lasted until I reconnected. Had the same issue with my S8.
My equalizer in the settings is set to normal.
Headunit: DDX774BH
No other devices connected to phone or headunit.

If this is a bluetooth connection,
From settings, do a search for bluetooth.
Try changing the Disable Absolute Volume option
also, from the Settings, bluetooth, 3dots, try changing the Media volume sync option

Ugh, same problem for me with a Kenwood HU. No solution yet, including the one mentioned above.

Bluetooth media audio stops working after toggling Bluetooth

I've spent a lot of time on this, and it's driving me nuts.
I've got a Verizon LG G3, stock ROM (6.0 Marshmallow), up to date.
I'm pairing it to my 2017 Honda Civic with display audio. I'm pretty sure that end isn't the issue, because it works with all other Bluetooth devices.
I can pair to the car just fine. It'll work across start/stopping the car, etc. However, any time I toggle Bluetooth on my phone (turn it off, turn it back on), the media audio sync will stop working entirely. The call audio continues to pair and work, but they won't pair with the media audio profile. The phone only shows "Call Audio" as an option in the Bluetooth settings for the car device, and the car shows that the phone only has call audio.
The only thing I've found that works is to unpair completely (both car and phone), turn off Bluetooth on the phone, go into Application Manager -> Bluetooth, and clear all data and the cache. Then I turn on Bluetooth, and can pair with my car perfectly fine until the next time I turn off Bluetooth.
Oddly enough, this worked fine for a couple of weeks - I had an app (Sony Smart Connect) that would toggle Bluetooth on when connected to power, and off when disconnected. That way, I didn't have to drain my phone battery by having BT on all the time. I've since uninstalled that app while troubleshooting, but it'd be really awesome to be able to use it again.
So, what could be causing this? Are there other troubleshooting steps I can try? I'm definitely willing to spend some time messing around. If I can't figure out anything else, my next step is to wipe and restore the phone. (Obviously, I'd like to avoid that if possible).
Any thoughts?

Lost bluetooth controls

After updating to 9.5.8.0 NCFMIF I still can connect my car stereo via bluetooth. But the only thing I can control is play/pause. Skipping back and forth is greyed out and I don't get any song infos anymore. Is it some kind of incompatibility, a bug, permission settings?

S9+ Exynos media volume sync stopped working

Dear Community!
Today my GS9+ Exynos stopped supporting my BeatsX wireless earbuds. Suddenly the music volume dropped but on the phone it was the same value i used to listen to. The problem is that the media volume sync stopped working. It says, my bluetooth device is not supported. But it was as you can guess. I have rebooted the phone, cleared the cache, cleared the bluetooth app data, reconnected the headphones, reset the headphones, turned on/off absolute maximum volume in developers settings, tried another app, but it wont sync the volume of the bluetooth device with my phone. Its loud, and perfect as it was but i wanna control the volume on the phone, with the buttons on the earbuds.
I really hope that you can help me.
Edit: I have solved the issue. Connect an other device that supports media volume sync. Turn the option off, then reconnect with the device that wont sync. When the device is connected to the phone, turn the option back again. It will let you change it now and it will work as well.

Question Bluetooth audio in car

After a successful bluetooth connection (Audi Q8), the call sound is not from the car by default, but I always have to manually switch it to blueooth in call settings on ZF9. Even if I select the bluetooth sound on the phone during the first call, I have to do it again during the next phone call. It also happens when I make a call through the car display.
I tried pairing again several times, changing the bluetooth name of the phone and car, unsuccessfully. The problem persists and it is quite bad.
Does anyone have a similar issue? Or an idea for a solution?
Thx

Question Phone app won't switch to speaker or Bluetooth device...

Anyone else having this problem? I'm on Android 13 and neither the native or Google phone app will let me switch to speaker or Bluetooth in a phone call.
No problem here, phone let me switch between speaker and Bluetooth in call or when listening music.
Did you try to re-pair your Bluetooth speaker ? Or simply reset the network/bt settings (via system -> reset options)

It won't work with several different Bluetooth devices. I don't think it's a Bluetooth issue because switching to speaker doesn't work either.
A network settings reset fixed it. That's a first.
