I forgot my mail and password. What shall i do?

sometimes you can use your phone number to login or reset password

Hi,
I just flashed my Gaxaxy S2 with the lintening rom yesterday. Everything has been working fine. Last night I setup my email, which was working fine. Part of the email setup requires yos to setup a password on the device. I remember the phone asked for 2 seperate password. Later on the phone restarted, but since then I am unable to get into the handset. My password is not working, and I do not know why.
The phone is booting into the Litening Rom, but is asking "Enter password to unlock". In the hope of getting the phone to reset I have entered the password wrong over 100 times, but it keeps on asking for the password. When I enter the password incorrectly 5 times, it says.. "Incorrect Password entered x times. Wait 30 seconds and try again".
Any suggestions how I can clear this prompt ? I dont care if I loose all my data on the phone...

If I were u, I would do factory reset from cwm, this will erase ur password with everything else

You don't mean the PIN, do you? You may be screwed if you lost your efs folder.

Exactly what happened...
Installed the rom
Setup Outlook to connect to my exchange 2007 server using ssl.
The exchange server enforced by policy a password to be set on the device.
I set the password.
When phone restarted, password was not being accepted...
Now cannot get past the password prompt... have tried entering the wrong password 100 times, but it wont reset the device....
is there a way to clear the password ? or even wipe the entire device and install a new rom ?

I had the exact same problem. Factory resetting through cwm even flashing new rom after full wipe didnt work. Flashed stock rom, without rooting go into recovery mode and then do a hard reset.

I think I have this exact same issue caused by active sync. I re-flashed Litening 3 times and try some other ROMs nothing worked! I will try re-flashing the stock rom like you did @5kops and see how I go.

I need help. yesterday I bought the phone LG K8 4G 6.0 android and when I turned on for the first time, I wanted to choose a language and google email.But my google email was something like "[email protected] random numbers just to move on. I did that just to finish it quickly.It was for the first time i enterd my phone normaly. But here is my problem. THen in a while, i got update from android. I restarted the phone and done a factory reset. Now when I start the device it ask for the language, wifi connection and ask me to login with a google account previously synced with the device. What the hell? I cant remember my random google email only password. And i didnt enter my phone number when it asked, i just skipped it. Now i need your help guys how to enter my phone? This is not really end of my brand new phone right? Please!

NOTE. That was my first time on 6.0 android. BEfore that, i had only 4.4.2. I didnt know that google have that security measuers.
I am on oxygen os 3.1.2 with stock recovery. I reset my google password before hard resetting my phone and flashing the 3.1.2 update manually.
Now, google wont allow me to go pass the initial account setup, it asks for username and password of previous user. I am the user, username is correct, but, it simply wont accept the new password. OTP screen pops up and it simply says' login with account previously associated with this phone' what is the way out.
I tried the trick of long pressing a text in the setup screen and I was able to go to settings and also able to access chrome, I tried and installing google acount frp tool, but, to no avail
1 full day without phone.

Today I was able to go through the verification. Today is the second day, I just entered my new credentials and google let me to sign in !

Hello, I did a factory reset this morning, on the first boot phone asks to configure the wifi settings as usual, then gmail account, after checking account it asks me to log in with one account that was previously sincronized on the phone (wich is the same account I tried to log in in the first place and the only account ever used on this phone) I tried several times but no succes, always the same, after login with the google account it goes back to "check your account" I don't know what else to do, the phone is on stock marshmallow 6.0, bootloader is locked. If I log in with my google account on PC, I can see that the phone conected with that account, dont know why this is happening, I've made factory resets on my moto g3 several times and never had this problem before. Hope you can help me to solve this

Phone not used long time, now I reset him on factory default and request from me to verify google account.
I forgot which google account is on this phone so I can't do anything with him. Tried to go in recovery mode and Wipe cache/data but not help.
Can I skip this verification or device can go in a trash?
