Hi ,
When ever I try to upload a video which I recorded on my phone and try to play it on Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp the sound comes outs as a constant hissing noise like a TV with no signal.
I used the manual video mode to record the videos.
Is there a reason why it's doing it ? I just noticed on Auto mode , the video sound works perfectly, just when recorded on manual mode it does this ??
When in manual check if it records audio in HiFi or normal mode in settings. If you record in HiFi then audio track will be saved in LPCM format which isn't supported by all sorts of web sites, so you must listen to it on PC at home and compress audio to whatever AAC codec suites best with plenty of free utilities, i.e. Xvid4PSP, mediacoder etc

Is it possible for me to use my Sony ECM-MS907 stereo mic with the SGS2 to record high quality live audio, much like I do with my portable mini disc recorder?

And even if is possible, I'd need some software on the phone to adjust the mic level, and I'd want to be able to have the mic override the built in mic when recording HD video. Basically, I want to record HD video with high quality audio all from the phone instead of recording audio on my minidisc simultaneously while recording video footage and then having the hassle of trying to sync AV afterwards. I somehow don't think it's possible to do what I want on this phone, but it seems some people have had success plugging mics into the iphone via the headphone socket.
i simple search on the xda forum showed me a lot of results
it's better than starting a new thread

Hi! I'm looking for a specific sound recording app which:
1. Records what sound my Phone releases (either via Speaker or Headset)
while
2. Not recording the background sounds (or white noises, specifically).
also
3. Saves the recorded song as an MP3 (or even better, a High-Quality MP3 Sound Recorder)
Reasons:
I'm playing this awesome Japanese Rhythm Music game and I love this one song, but when I tried finding the Song in Google as an MP3, I couldn't find it...
So I tried recording it via those Recording App on Play Store, but when I finished recording, they also recorded white noises (cars driving, people talking including me).
I want to record only what sound my Phone purely releases, and not with any white noises... Anybody care to suggest some of them?
Has the audio quality been improved on the S5?
On my s3 i could not capture a video at a loud concert because the audio was so loud and the playback on the video was so distorted and gross.
I just went to a concert and video recorded a few moments of the concert and the same thing. audio play back is horrible.
I see videos from iphones at loud concerts record the audio amazingly but it seems all the galaxy phone struggle with this. Am i missing a setting or something?
does anyone experience a very low quality sound while watching videos on the net, chatting on samsung galaxy s6 edge.
i have tried multiple headset like phottix, beats, samsung level u, and even wired headset. still the sound output is very low.
but on music, its ok. only during watching net videos and chatting.
Hello,
recently I wanted to record some YT video using onboard camera but with audio via USB using external stereo audio. It seems it records audio in mono. I use Open Camera for that as stock camera app doesn't have such capabilities. Does anyone know it is normal in such top end device or it might happen with my tablet because I remove something with ADB Shell what I shouldn't remove? To be honest, I also have Galaxy Note FE (Note 7 replacement) which can record video with stereo audio as I desire. Although, I can't see what I'm doing because I have to keep phone backwards. On Tab S I can use front camera with wide angle option which is a must. What system apps might be responsible for stereo audio recording during video shoot? I removed so much of them, so I don't know? As I remember, I also removed almost the same stuff from my phone, too, but it works like a charm, except, lags and poor quality on front camera, and no wide angle.
Actually, I found iRig Stream Pro, which is supposed to do exactly what I want, and all YT videos shows video recording with onboard camera with iRig via USB and streaming all together. May this work?
