USB Sound Card Problem - Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 Questions & Answers

Hi,
I've connected Creative SoundBlaster SBX Pro Studio 5.1 USB Sound Card via OTG cable to my Note 4 phone, but there is a problem.
There is no sound at all, despite the fact, that I get an headaphones icon on taskbar, and SoundCards LED turns on, when I'm playing music.
Is there a way to make it work?
I'm running latest android available via OTA updates: 7.0 NRD90M

[Q] Android can't see usb and headphones connections

Hello!
When I connect my device (Nexus 7 2013) to PC or charger by USB, android can't see this connection. It shows that baterry don't charges, but in fact it charges. When tablet is off and I connect it to charger it shows charging picture. Android can't see connection to PC too & and PC can't see android device. I can connect it to PC in fastboot mode, but not in adb.
When I tried to connect my headphones to nexus and start to playing music, sound comes from external speakers on nexus, but not on headphones.
There was an issue with random rebooting and very fast eating battery, but I installed other (4.4.3) version of stock android and GO Launcher EX instead of standard launcher. And then comes this new issue described above.
I can flash other rom or restore factory settings, but I'm afraid of old bug with random reboots.
What can you advice to me?

Looking for USB AUDIO- Dock - able Kernel/rom For a Mini Usb DAC

I tried the pacman 4.4.4 rom.
I have an usb ON to go cable + Go vibe mini U dac (which is usb).
I see the USB- DAC turned - powered on.
However I do my headphones in and music does not play.
The developer doesn't have time I read for android anymore.
I did see in sound settings the option : Dock- Audio. But it was greyed out, either shifted out of the rom, or my device is not recognized?
Does anyone please know a rom that might work with this???
Thanks!

Honor 7 is not working with my car audio kenwood kmm u11.

Hello folks.
I bought this phone 3weeks ago and I can't use it with my kenwood kmm u11 car audio. When I connect my phone via usb to car audio, files are being read but sound is coming from the phone instead of car's speakers. Also I have tried it with some other car audios and it did not worked. My phone has B370 build and I could not find a solution for this situation. Please help me if anyone has a solution.
It can't work as a USB mass storage device as the radio doesn't have the right protocols.
When you connect it to a windows PC, it install drivers. A radio can't do that.
Sound only through BT or 3,5"mm jack.

I have an LG G2 and it works with usb connection. What is the difference? Honor 7 and LG G2 have Android 5.0.2. I can't get the point.

USB works like any other mass storage device. Might be compatible or not. The the device that's accessing the files plays and handles the output.
The car radio could have a protocol to control through USB the android music player. Check if H7's music player is working. There's also a similar protocol for iOS.
Finally, there's only 5 ways of getting audio out from Android, to other than built-in speaker:
1- 3,5" jack audio out (headphones but works with anything)
2- MHL, for compatible devices, but audio is automatically routed
3- HDMI out, audio automatically routed.
4- Bluetooth, audio automatically routed.
5- Wi-Fi cast, audio automatically routed.
You can use USB as an audio output, but you have to fiddle with the OS. And I'm not sure if it's possible with all devices.
@blast4620 some devices have inbuilt Mass Storage mode, but Honor 7 just have MTP protocol and no Mass Storage protocol.
MTP protocol requires some drivers to be installed on the device to which you are connecting your phone, so it can't work on your Kenwood Player.
Whereas Mass Storage mode doesn't require any drivers to be installed, it's just like Plug & Play(A USB Pen-Drive). So, your LG phone must have a Mass Storage mode, but Honor 7 doesn't have it.
I hope this helps.

USB Audio on Android 8.0.0

So, I have an issue with audio out via USB. On android 7, I would plug an USB into the car headunit connecting it to the phone. In android 8, it doesn't recognize the device. The phone keeps disconnecting, shows android accessory connected, then it disconnects again until the HU throws an error
S7 Edge Exynos running Android 8.0.0 ERC6
Up. I've read somewhere that it has something to do with AOA, and that's not supported in Oreo. Is this the case ?
Same problem here. I've managed to get it working by forcing 'Audio Source' option under USB connection settings in Developer Options, but it has to be manually set each time. So if the head unit or connection freezes (which does happen), you have to physically reconnect and start from scratch. Which can't be done safely whilst driving...

Oppo Reno2 Z unable to connect with Android Auto

I have recently purchased an Oppo Reno2 Z. One issue that I am having is with connecting phone Android Auto on my Sony AX-5000 car stereo. Android Auto was working on this car stereo with my previous phone (a Nokia 7 plus) without any issues, so I am confident the problem is with the Oppo phone and not the stereo or usb cables I have used. I also have found the odd post from other Oppo users with the same issue.
When connecting the Oppo Reno2 Z (running ColorOS 6.1) to the stereo, Android Auto does not start up and instead I get the message 'USB device not supported'. I am able to get Android Auto to work by initiating Developer Options on the Oppo and then changing 'Select USB Configuration' from 'Charging' to 'MTP (Media Transfer Protocol)', however this only works for that one time and next time I try to use Android Auto again I am forced to go through the above steps once again. It does not appear that it is possible to permanently change USB Configuration to MTP (Media Transfer Protocol).
Does anyone know of a permanent solution to this issue? I'm hoping that it may be fixed in ColorOS 7, however that is not yet available in Australia for this phone.
Many thanks in advance.
