Hello everyone, I have always resorted to the XDA forum for my smartphone endeavors in overclocking flashing etc.
Recently I bought a Turbo X I 4G (it's from a Greek company) and it came with a Quad core 1 ghz cpu (mt8735p vendor and mt6735 chip).
It also came with a custom recovery (this company is notorious for rebranding Chinese smartphones).
My question is, will any kernel for the mt6735 do for overclock etc.? What about custom roms?

hey guys just brought new tab Lava e-tab xtron+ (rk 3066 chip with android 4.2.2) having cortex A9 dual core + quad core mali gpu with 1 gb ram along with latest android 4.2.2. am having difficulty in rooting it. already have lg optimus one p500. have rooted and flashed tons of rom but having difficult time roting this tab. have tries many different ways from net but hvnt been successful. pleae provide a method for rooting this tab. sorry for my bad english

i have buy the phone in Croatia (h18 fresh) this is branded phone. the original name is sumvier mtk6572

ram :256mb
rom 512mb
camera back 2.0 with flashlight front 0.3
have the dual sim, gps, wifi, 3g etc.
the android system is 4.2.2
i have sucesfully rooted the phone but i want to put the custom rom becouse the gps fix on this phone is disaster.
so anyone can help me any fix for the gps or custom rom. if you need detailed system spec tell me i will put it but tell me with what program.
problem is that android system info tells some information and some dont.
example i dont know the:
radio
bootloader
brand is like i said sumvier
board mtk6572
hardware mt6572
My wife have an Ampe A78 3G version and i would like to update it to a more recent firmare or custom, is it possible?
The tablet have a dual core qualcomm processor and 512mb of RAM.

I was wondering if there is a custom firmware i can flash on this tablet, ideally i would love to be able to flash a 'CyanogenMod' firmware on this tablet.
I have searched a lot but have been unable to find any custom firmwares for this tablet, maybe i have looked in the wrong place or maybe there is no custom firmwares available ???
Any help/links/advice would be very much appreciated.

I currently have a tablet with a similar disposition:
Trio Stealth G4 7.85
It's based upon a similar CPU (clocked at 1.5GHz - ?)
I do not believe that XDA has ROMS/recovery images for us currently. You could try playing with something made for other tablets (with the same CPU), but I'd be careful. It's very difficult to find stock recovery/ROM for these devices.
Did you guys find a firmware? I need one too for the same tablet or at least the same specs. Mine had a root done to it and all important apps were deleted. all left was the system app. which doesn't allow for much. I need to reinstall the android firm ware or other OS. I need help too
