How to install TWRP and the ROM:
1) install the Unlocked bootloader trough odin
2) after install the BL enter in download mode and install TWRP for 7.0
3)then enter recovery mode and format data partition
4) enter in advance wipe and wipe dalvik, system,data,internal storage and cache
5) flash the rom
6) enjoy!!

The bootloader is JUST for install the twrp is not recomended to daily use, it will cause randoms reboots

Upgrade to Nougat 7.0, install the bootloader, then TWRP, boot into TWRP, wipe then install the Rom.

Do you have the other Rom? "Ultimate Rom"... everything works then I think if I should wipe data for lost a good Rom and many applications.. .

No, I have the limonade rom. I would recommend a full wipe so you don't experience any issues with the new build

Honestly, I haven't really noticed. It seems to last just as long as when it was on stock Nougat, which is pretty good, I haven't had any issues with the battery life.

I don't know, but I flashed stock Nougat first, in Odin with all four files (BL, AP, CP & CSC). Then I installed the unlocked bootloader and TWRP to wipe and install the Rom.

"
BL stands for bootloader
AP represents the system partition (possibly stands for Android partition); under previous Odin versions, this was called "PDA"
CP represents your modem
CSC stands for Consumer Software Customization

Then maybe we need only instal CP file...

is it safe to flash from KK? coz i downgraded to KK from LP due to battery drain problems.
Good to hear guys, but i have no clue why root didn't work, or not working for you. I use same method on my Z2.
Upgrade should work, but u need to flash an advanced stock or custom kernel to work and gain full root rights.
I have problem with location service and GPS. When turn GPS only got random robot, and when I set battery saver not response on location at all. This is mess!
I have custom kernel, but root only works with Supersu_fix
ok, i forgot to include init.d folder, in next update all should work.

Hi, I found Miui8 for G2 it's from XDAVN I think. I have tested on my G2-D802 it's ok but I have not check everything just overall it's working. It's from this youtube link, credit go to them and the original developer of the rom:

vs980 variant extracts ls980 variant patch (you can see it in the installer), just delete the ls980 folder in variant>ls980, rename vs980 to ls980 and flash lambda kernel.
This rom is beautiful and butter smooth. outstanding. just beautiful.
flash miui 8 on ls980. so far the rom is perfect for daily use. the two bug i notice is
1- the wallpaper crousal is still missing.
2- Pattern lock and Applock is not working.
I hope developer will solve out this issue .

From my experience Miui8 is very efficient for battery life. I mean it's quite good I ran it for my Htc M8 battery is excellent and this one G2 should be not far off but my G2 is almost 3 years old. May be others can check it if anyone have doubt on that matter.

The kernel from the link provided is work for the rom. For root/install Supersu I use method from the link below it works:

No boot error for me, when install Supersu flash script first then Supersu as from the link, I use supersu v2.76 it's ok.
Be very careful with this rom, after I flashed SU, I got bootlock.

Flashed: rom + kernel + bootloader + SU fix + SU + modem. It booted on d802. Before miui8 i was on cm14.1. Only GPS is not accurate.

How to make Magisk Modules work and pass SafetyNet?
1- Make a backup of your data with TWRP, and backup your internal storage somewhere because it will get wiped.
2- Download and install ROM
2- Go back to main screen, enter to wipe > advanced wipe
3- Select data and press "repair or change filesystem"
4- Press "change filesystem" and select ext4, follow instructions in screen
5- After it's done restore your data, you will get a message saying it could not boot, don't worry.

Not at the moment because rom wasn't booting if deodexed. Anyways I see no point in deodexing, at least in stock. I will try to deodex and upload test version later.

Of course no, I removed Moto OTA apps because it will brick everything. Anyways the next OTA we will be receiving surely its Oreo, and for that is preferible to do a clean flash

Maybe stock firmware are different by variant, my device is XT1670 and it working without problems. Let's wait until other people test in different variants.
People who install this ROM please tell in this post if it booted or not and specify what variant u have!

By the way i found an alternative for blue light filter
I found this app called f.lux it's different from other apps on play store, it's not just an annoying yellow overlay it actually tweaks the colors and it has this cool option to reduce saturation for amoled displays

I installed this rom. In my opinion, this rom is slightly better than first version, but good job man I am wait a rom Note 10.

Analogous to my other projects I present here a custom ROM on stock basis. This ROM is based on the 10.0 DBT FW. It is not supposed to become something big. Actually it was only meant for me, but I thought, maybe it would help some of you who don't want to flash the FWs with Odin.
The ROM is mostly "stock-alike" because I'm no friend of "heavy modifications" anymore.
Neither I nor XDA is responsible for any damage to your device. You flash it at your own risk!
Before you start, make a Nandroid(Backup) of your system. Safe is safe!

Stock ROM Q 10.0 (AndroidFileHost)
Download Modem/Bootloader
Flashable_T510_Firmware (flash it through recovery - follows next!!)
How-To flash:
Place the Zip on the internal or better external memory.
Boot into Recovery -> Hold Vol. Up at restart
--> Fullwipe if coming from another ROM
Then click on install in TWRP
Searches the folder where you put the Zip in
And flash them now by clicking on the zip and dragging the slider to the right at TWRP
Then reboot -> Reboot to System = Boot with Magisk!
The reboot with a fullwipe usually takes a while - can take up to 10 minutes. So keep calm.
Troubeshooting
If you got an bootloop or it stays on samsung logo, make a fullwipe. Otherwis it wont boot correctly into root partition.
I had the same problems. Only a fullwipe solved it.

Not more like on Stock. Samsung didnt made a good job with this Tab. It feels more sluggish as on my old Tab A 2016. Maybe its the SoC or the OneUi stuff.
No problem here, using it with custom kernel with oc and everything works fine. As fast as nexus stock

To update to v2.0 (Android 10) i have to flash stock rom XXU3BTFN first and repeat the procedure to patch TWRP, flash TWRP, flash multidisabler ...?

Yepp, you need latets bootloader and twrp etc. Otherwise it won't boot.

from what i have read it has 3GB instead of 2GB ram and 64GB instead of 32GB storage.
I think the rest of the internal components are the same.
It is the wifi(T510/T510N) version and not the LTE(T515/T515N)
Hmm try it out if you want. I don't guarantee it will work. If so, it could be that it show not the correct Infos about your tab, ram, emmc etc.

You can push the twrp inside the AP_ file, delete recovery.img and rename twrp to this one. So you don't have to format Data again.
I'm on Android 10. And as you know that TWRP version is T510XXS3ATE3 and TWRP is still not available for T510XXU3BTFN So how am I suppose to do all these stuffs. Can I flash your file through TWRP on Android 9 ?

No, you must be on android 10, as i said before. Flash Magendanz TWRP. There is a q twrp in his thread.
Can you please post a link of that TWRP ? I'm unable to find that.
