Hey everyone, I just got my Mate 10 and I absolutely love it. I just have one issue, when I send texts using Airdroid (or any app that allows texting from your computer) the text will go through because the other person responds to it, but the sent text never shows up on my phone. Does anyone have any idea why or how to fix that?

AirDroid just emailed me "Huawei developers have set restriction for the device system so this issue will occur when you sending out message via non-default SMS app."

I think you need to message Huawei as what I've did just now.

The latest AirDroid has been resolved this issue, but you need update to 4.1.7.0.
I have add to beta channel so i can receive the newest update, it looks like fix this
problem and can show sms correctly with Huawei phone but it needs reboot device.

Dude, Airdroid took way too long for a solution, so I decided to pony up and buy pushbullet. I used Airdroid for years, and pushbullet just works much better for me.

Hi man, Pushbullet still is not working on my Huawei phone. When I sent a sms message from Pushbullet website, it still is not storing any message in my phone but latest AirDroid does.
Could you please tell me how to setup Pushbullet to support store sms message?

Enhanced Email is Amazon's free app of the day. It's normally 10 bucks! I'm downloading it now and I don't even need an email client lol. I use Gmail. I've heard good things about it. Might as well go grab it.

Took a quick look at this this morning before work - didn't see an option for push only support, only scheduled polling. Did I miss something?
Would love this app if they had not eliminated the ability to use the "contacts" list to select the recipients for new/forwarded emails.

I have been using the stock app for my work email (gmail for personal), and just switched to this one. The main reason I switched is that Enhanced Email allows me to select multiple messages and mark them as read, or perform other actions on them. If there is a way to do that with the stock application, I couldn't find it. That alone is reason enough for me to switch.

I mark multiple emails as read all the time in the stock email client. I will admit the Enhanced Email app is a nicer touch compared to the stock client.

i like it but is there a way to adjust the vibrate? its a little much...
I bought enhanced email about a month ago. The main reason leaving stock email was because I would delete emails, close the email app, and then I'd get another email notification for the emails I just deleted. I'd have to reopen the email app just to reset the notifications.

Enhanced mail handles attachment better than stock and any other client. You get and email with an attachment and you want to forward it automatically forwards the attachment. This is huge for me for work.

Great find would have missed out on this one. For those wondering like myself if this is worth the switch i say yes. Just as nice as stock but looks much nicer with graphic heavy mail.

Downloaded it earlier and configured it just now for my Hotmail account (I know, but it's too much effort to switch). I love it so far.
Before I was using the stock Froyo app on my Desire but it had a lot of short comings (no html, no text copy, when I forward an email it would send it as an attachement!). Tried K9 which I liked, but it doesn't support EAS. Tried Nitro, but it was overkill for what I wanted as it is aimed more at corporate accounts.
So far EE ticks all the boxes...hope it stays that way.

you need a valid card on file with Amazon in order for them to process the order. they may need to charge $1 temporarily, but it doesn't go through. their payment system definitely won't accept closed accounts, free or not.

There's LOTS of additions over stock. Trust me, I'm the developer lol. I've spent about a year working on it, adding features that my users ask for. Tick the checkboxes next to as many messages as you want and a menu bar will appear at the bottom with buttons. Among those is "mark read/unread" and other buttons.

Like I said in the posting description: This only works and can only go to a P2P (Sort of Email in the BBM). maybe if you want to enter the chat table they then have to use the original BBM from BlackBerry.
I'm just trying to get contact BBM users of Android.
More likely you'll be able to add this application to improve to be like the blackberry messenger.

open the app, click on contacts on the top left, click on new, enter the desired name and a valid BBM pin of your friend! :good:

Some users are complaining about that. I think, this problem will be solved in a couple of days
I used aptoide and downloaded the Hangout apk and it replaced Talk and now its working as it should.

I can't see the big differences from the old app.
Can you send photos and videos out files with it like whatsapp? I haven't found a way to do it.
Furthermore I can't add a photo to my chat profile without having to add it to Google +.
And my contacts that I have pictures of in my contact book are shown without pictures in the chat since they haven't got a picture on Google+.
So far I am a little bit disappointed with these issues and whatsapp will unfortunately still be a more preferable way for me to send messages for a while longer.

Use Titanium Backup or similar software to remove Talk-app (remember to backup) and then install Hangouts from Google Play. Worked for me!
1)Delete talk with titanium backup
2) Restart device
3) Install hangouts from google play

Actually there is both an "email" and "gmail" download available from the system dump of a nexus 5 (not a Samsung device). I was clarifying that he was referring to email and not gmail

Yes and the one I was talking about is the google mail application. Not Gmail and not the Samsung one
I've seen a few reports of people in the Note 3 section having problems with video chat in Hangouts with the new apk besides having mms issues. I haven't had the chance to test the video chat on it to confirm.

MMS does not work for sure. I don't know if it is even an option to begin with on this tablet (being WiFi only) but it dies not work on my S4. I haven't tried video chat on either

I'm sorry for the confusion with what i said in my post...I wasn't stating that there is an MMS option when in installed on the 10.1. I was just merely stating that there are a few issues with the app in general right now.

No I understood you were taking about MMS with the Note 3.
However, i personally installed to see if the MMS option existed on the note 10.1 and if it did, would it work over WiFi. It isn't even an option.

This is my current setup as well for sending texts from my pc, but I use mysms. It's always just been a little more reliable for me. Does anybody know if the new hangouts, which does sms on android now, supports/will support this functionality? I installed the new apk on my phone and received my sms through it. But I didn't see any text messages in gmail. I don't have an android tablet (yet) to test the hangouts app there.
For now I have disabled SMS in hangouts again, as it was extremely laggy (especially in a conversation with over 10000 messages. the stock sms app handles that better). I felt mysms was less reliable too.

I was hoping for the same thing. I was hoping that sms and mms would sync with hangouts so that I didn't have to create backups and such.
I have a rooted S4 running 4.2.2 and as of 2 days ago I can't send SMS to any new numbers. For existing conversations everything works as normal. But when I try to text a number that I have not texted before the App crashes and the message is not sent. I've tried the stock app as well as 2 others with the same result. I've rebooted multiple times, removed the battery, force stopped the app and uninstalled third-party apps (per verizon tech's advice) and so far no luck. Verizon tech wanted me to do a software update but I have that disabled and I definitely don't want to lose root. Please halp!

Delete your current messaging app and install another. It's all APK's and can be done via es file explorer or something similar.

Are you saying to uninstall the default Samsung app? Because I don't think that's possible. And I've already uninstalled all other SMS apps I had on there as I said in my post.

Go into your internal storage/system/pri-app and you will find the mms.apk that your phone loads on boot. Download a different one from the Verizon app/themes section that is compatible with your build and whatnot and swap them out.
