The 10 Pro has been released in the UK but oddly the regular Mate 10 isn't. I know xaomi phones lack certain bands on their phones limiting their UK compatibility. Is the Huawei mate 10 fully UK compatible?
Thank you for your help in advance
Yes its compatible

Hi Guys,
A Huawei customer representative told me today that there are hardware differences (apart from the RAM/ROM) between the Chinese versions of Mate 10 and the European ones so it may harm my Mate 10 if i install updates i receive from OTA here in Europe!
I have bought Mate 10 6 GB version from Wonda and they have rebranded it to ALP-L29 C115(C636) which got OTA to version 119.
Any ideas what he is talking about?
Cheers
The only hardware differences I'm aware of are the extra ram and storage on the Chinese version. My L29 rebranded AL00 works fine in the States. The one OTA so far went fine, also.
I know the European p20 pro volte works on T-Mobile USA, do any European firmwares for the mate 10 pro work with T-Mobile USA volte?
I'm concerned about us region not getting updates.
Currently I'm on BLA-A09 c567
Same here. USA versions are lagging WAY behind other variants in terms of updates. I wonder if this has to do with the USA government recommending against Huawei devices. Is the Huawei saying F U back to the USA?
I would assume that is certainly the case. They have probably given up and do not feel any necessity to service a lost market.
I have given up any hope of getting any future huawei flagship devices here, hopefully will still be able to import them from europe if they they are not completely banned and that volte will work.

I've got the same issue and I spoke to Huawei US and they said we are getting the updates on July.... I initially believed it was an FU to the USA about VoLTE not working on the international brand of the phone while it works just fine on the P20 but now I believe that's pure sales strategy. Since there is no USA version of the P20 Pro, of course they can allow VoLTE to work out of the box in the USA. But since there is a us version of the Mate 10 Pro, they likely need to differentiate to sell more USA versions. That's my 2 cents. I'll be curious to see if these updates come in July as I was told.
Lastly - the most frustrating thing about Huawei is they say it's not them limiting the international version of the phone with VoLTE in the USA (BLA-L29) but it's the carrier. But we know this is complete bull**** because there is a carrier file on the International phone and US VoLTE is turned off. If you root your phone, you can turn it on and it works just fine. Not sure why they just can't be honest...

Hi folks,
I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro purchased in Europe (Germany), I'm going to travel in the US so I would like to know if the phone can be used in the US and with which carriers (I'm currently looking at TMobile and AT&T).
I''m asking because I was looking on some carrier websites and none seem to have the Huawei Mate 10 Pro listed in their compatibility list, but perhaps I just don't know where to look.
Thanks in advance for your help, it's much appreciated... I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on a sim/plan only to find out it doesn't work with my phone.
I have the Mate 10 PR US version but cannot get 4G/LTE to work on AT&T network. anyone else have this problem?

As the title says I'm think about getting this phone. I have a honor 8 right now, US version. My question is would I better off getting the international version of the mate 10 pro. Will the BLA-A29 world phone have a better chance of security updates as opposed to the BLA-A09 US version. It looks like the lte bands are the same on both. I'm on ATT network and from reading many reviews the BLA-A29 seems to work for people on ATT. thanks
Mate 10 Pro version
The international version would work on at&t, and would "probably" get updates faster that the US model, depending on the regional variant of course
Its such a shame the M-Pen is not supported in the P40Pro+. I used it a lot on my mate 30 pro and do miss it.
Does any other region support it? I'm on a C432 and wondered if it was possibly a region thing or no support across all? So come on Huawei, lets have some M-Pen support again.
i have one mpen from my old mate 30 i will check if it is compatible but i think not.
Confirmed, no M-Pen menu in P40 Pro region C301 setting while Mate 30 Pro has.
