Galaxy J3 Emerge stuck on boost screen during boot - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Galaxy J3 Emerge. I rooted the device and installed TWRP. It worked fine. I installed Link2SD and it wouldn't work properly, so I installed it as a system app. It still wouldn't work so I uninstalled it. Now the phone wont boot past the boost logo screen. I can get into TWRP but cant figure out what I need to do? Please help.

You have two Options.
1-Reset The Phone Via Twrp.
if that doesn't work then ****.
2-flash a custom recovery root your device install flashfire and download firmware package.Flash it using flashfire.Done.

I got Magisk rom running on the phone but I don't have wifi, somehow the wifi didn't take on the install? How can I install Flashfire on the phone without wifi? I can't figure out how to install an apk in Magisk. I have a full backup I did with Flashfire.

[Q] Help with root Sprint N900PVPUCNC5 !!!

Hello,
I followed this post to root and install TWRP recovery on my Sprint Samsung Note 3. The root procedures went well, showing rooted successfully. However, I installed TWRP recovery using GooManager, and also tried installig through Odin.
It shows that TWRP recovery is successfully installed, but I am not able to boot into recovery. The phone seems to try to boot into TWRP for ever.....
Later I read this post, which says that Do not try on Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware!
IS my issue due to my rooting and installing TWRP are based on 4.4.2 (my phone is having new NC5 OTA update)? How shall I do?
Thank you very much for your helps!!!
Did you fiqure it out

You should be suing TWRP 2.7.0.1 and do not use goo manager.. Go to their site and click on the alternate download.. I do believe TWRP mentioned they disable the goo manage download because of issues.. Make sure you are also choosing the right phone.. I have choosing the wrong phone more than once.. Also when your done flashing in odin, and you reboot into recovery manually, make sure you wait until you see the line about recovery, before you release the 3 buttons, or you will just boot into your desktop.. Also you can use TWRP on KItKat firmware as many have done so..

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-S920L Only boots In TWRP

After trying to install Xposed framework, my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime SM-S920L (Tracfone) now only boots to TWRP screen.
How do i exit? Did i really mess this up beyond repair? Tried to restore, there are no packages. Tried rebooting it says no OS installed and boots back to TWRP. Tried ADB sideload and it failed. Please somebody HELP---I have no idea what i am doing!!
You'll have to flash a rom in TWRP or restore via Odin. Sounds like you didn't use the correct Xposed version for Touchwiz.

This should help.http://forum.xda-developers.com/grand-prime/help/sm-920l-straight-talk-galaxy-frand-t3252377/page4
When you let us newbies try on a device that has nothing simple to it. Im in about the same boat. Reload my backup and back to recovery it goes. Going to try reflashing odin style when i get home.

Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9515) stuck at boot logo

Hi everyone,
I have a problem with my phone. Android 7.1.2 (Lineage OS 14.1) is installed in the GS4, and it worked perfectly. The recovery is TWRP. Yesterday, the Lineage OS developers released a system update, so I downloaded it from the phone settings and then tapped on the icon to install it. Then it booted into recovery and I installed the file downloaded (the auto-installation does not work for me). So, when it finished installing the new version, I rebooted the phone and... it was stuck at the Galaxy S4 boot logo. Hence, I rebooted it to see if ti worked but nothing, so I decided to go again into recovery ad perform a full wipe and a clean installation. Rebooted the phone but it continues to stuck at the logo. I also tried to install a previous version of android, which I am sure it works (because it was the first I installed), but the situation doesn't change. I also tried to get into downloading mode, and it goes, so I used a tool called FonePaw Data Recovery to try to fix the problem but it doesn't change. I also installed a different version of TWRP via Odin, but the system won't boot.
So, in conclusion, the phone is able to boot properly into recovery mode and downloading mode but not able to boot system. What can I do now?

Stuck in mi logo screen after installing supersu

I had unlocked bootloader and installed twrp on my device. But after flashing supersu my phone is not booting anymore. It gets stuck on the second mi logo screen (the screen with 'powered by android' caption). After going through similar posts here, I tried flashing unSu and boot.img, but neither methods worked. My device is Redmi Note 4 SD running stable MIUI 9.5 global rom. My data is backed up so I dont mind losing it, just need the phone to boot up. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
You need to flash lazyflasher after installing TWRP to prevent bootloop if you are using MIUI. https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862700328
Also nobody is using SuperSU these days, stick with Magisk as root solution.

How to completely restore main firmware from crdroid ?

So I rooted my tablet today in the morning, and has been discovering new stuff with root all the day it's night now. And I tried custom root (crdroid),
And it was pain in the ass. 1- wiped everything using the advanced tool (data, cache 1, cache 2, system) and used the
(Tabs3_oreo_forced+encryption_disabler).zip flashed it then flashed SuperSU, booted into it, explored for 2 hours noticed no SuperSU, wanted to go back to download mode but serial image shoed on screen and in the middle was: {Press home key to go into download mode} did that then got to twrp and wanted to install supersu but couldn't mount data, tried million combination of magisk the disabler and supersu but it's either: run vanilla crdroid, (without google service and stuff and couldn't download thanks to the loop) get data unmounted, get stuck on the screen saying: (tab s3 by Samsung blah blah) so I'm hoping to get back to the original firmware, which I'm downloading it now (region: iraq) but after I get back to original I'm gonna root it (because it worked flawlessly then, I can do that) but any help on how to install main firmware, should I just twrp the install ? Or can you guys give another way ?

Hi thanks for the reply it has been a really long loooooong time since i checked xda on my account, and I'm happy to say I'm now a master in custom roms and rooting, currently trying to port s-pen functions, and fix the damn camera problem with custom roms on this particular device. Thanks again.
