For some reason my Samsung Pay Framework is using nearly 6Gb of storage.
Has anyone else come across this? If so do you know how to reduce it as that is over 10% off my available storage

8.6Mb data used in Pay and 2.4Mb data used in Pay Framework here, I have 2 Bank cards, 3 Membership cards, I'm registered for the reward program and I'm using the app regularly.
Something is wrong with Pay using 6Gb of data, did you try cleaning up with Settings-> Device Maintenance-> Storage -> Clean Now?

Yeah. Reset the app and start over. Force close and then clear cache and data. Then re configure app. Something obviously went wrong.

I preferably don't want to do that as I have a lot of cards currently registered and don't want to have to set up all my credit cards again.

Could be a reporting glitch. Boot phone into recovery and clear cache. Then boot up and check. If that doesn't change it you will have to reset the app. There is no other way.

Is there a solution to make Chrome to Phone.apk work?
I m sure you have the same problem
Must be an error on Google side
First ou need to install the extension in Chrome, then you need chrome 2 phone installed on your beloved SGS2.
And last you need to have syncronisation turned on on your phone.
It works just fine here. I've had no problems sending text or urls.
I know how to set stuff.... has been used for a long time.
But after 2.3.4 ROM, Error: unable to connect

any news guys?
C2P uses Google Talk to communicate with your phone. Open the Talk app on your phone, log off and log in again. This is a suggested fix by Google.
Nope, doesn't work here. f'in...
working fine here for me on 2.3.4 although i use the firefox extension as i dont use chrome browser
read here (autotranslated)
seems that if you log in from different mobiles / roms, you have to logout from some of them becase a 10 id limit...
hope this can help
Working fine on my S2 with a Google Apps account, even if they say Google Apps is not compatible with Chrome To Phone.

which rom version?
KH3 10 chars
on mine (kh3, snakes) works but links delayed ~10 min or it comes immediatly when I switch my connection between wifi and 3g
i've never had this issue on my nexus one (stock, cyanogen or miui rom) and i'm using c2p since it born
after switching to a smasun galaxy s II the problem come
the strange behavior is that if i turn on both mobiles on the nexus always still work almost instantly (tried to disconnet/clean data/uninstall on both, same results)
more here
Tested links and Clipboard on Hspa just now (Wi-Fi disabled), the response is instant.
This is my case:
I have installed some apps on my SGSII without buying from the market (just for testing). Now I decide to buy them from the market but I can't, even when I uninstall them from my phone, clear their data... the market still consider that I have purchased those apps so I can't buy them.
How can I fix it?
P/S: Sorry for my English, it's not my primary language.
You can choose to clear market data and login again...btw this would like the first time you ran market by accepting conditions n all...
Taptlk'd from my sgs2!

No you won't. Your purchases are tied to your google account, not any local data you have.

Not working, it's still "purchased"
The "purchased flag" is not on your phone - it's stored within your Google account, so there is nothing you can do about this. Contact Google and ask them for advice, but I'll tell you now that they won't help you.
Just out of curiosity, why are you bothered about paying for the app now? You've obviously downloaded it for free from somewhere before now.

I know i probably shouldnt but i do this. Download from "other" places first and the purchase once i have treid properly. I dont think 15min is enough to get a handle on some apps. But i feel if you gonna use a payed app, buy it.

It's saled off now, just 0,25$ - 0,49$, with that price I thought buying is better than searching.

Hello all,
I was using a Milestone 2 (GSM Version Droid 2) and just bought a Razr Maxx, so I quickly rooted my Maxx and installed Titanium Backup to restore my apps from my Milestone 2
The second time I turn my Maxx on, I received a message from my own number saying the following message:
" The number sent this sms is using your buddy My Name phone illegal, you can send command sms to control phone send 3) to get all command in details."
It was then I remember that I installed an anti-theft app into my Milestone 2, however I forgot the name of the app, therefore I cannot find a way to uninstall it. Also, this only happens when I restored my backups from Titanium Backup. I have checked only the apps that I want to restore, therefore this should not happen again. However the same thing happens. The anti-theft app somehow by pass the restore limitations and reinstalled itself using Titanium Backup
This is very annoying, since its sending myself messages, telling me that I stole my own phone.
Anyone recognized what app this is by looking at this message?

Can you not just go to the Play Store and see your installed apps and look at which one it is?
anti theft apps hide in system/apps.
so open root explorer and search for unusual app like "pet finder" and delete it

That's some dodgy grammar in that text message.

I think it's telling you that your mates phone has been stolen and that you should reply to get the commands and locate it.
P.s. If this is the case, you can't remove it because it's in your mates phone, not yours.

The only thing I could think of is that my device is rooted so the app wont let me use it. However, my nexus 7 is rooted and I can still play this game which doesn't make any sense.. any ideas?

If you are looking at the app in the play store you should see device compatibility, if it's not compatible there that could be one issue. Did you side load the app, d/l it from a site that other than the play store? Need some more info.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to imply it was cracked, just wasn't sure if it came from a different store other than play, there are many out there. Honestly I have no clue why, sort of like why my Nexus 7 can't install the Amazon Mobile (Store) app but my Galaxy Note 2 can, very odd thing. So again, sorry about any misunderstanding. Did you try to side load the apk file or change something in the build prop?

It's alright man haha. I actually fixed the problem. It was because I wasn't connected to wifi/mobile data and it's one of those games where it checks for a license every time you open it. It was a fail on my part. Thanks for your time though!

factory reset
Settings>Apps>Google Play Store
Then:
1. Uninstall Updates
2. Clear Data
3. Force Stop
4. Reboot
See if that helps. And next time please use Google, lol

Moved to Q&A..
As suggested probably best is a factory reset. That ought to remove it.
But you need to track down which app you installed that put that in or it will happen again.
Ok, so far I've done the following with no success:
- removed several recently installed apps
- cleared data on play store
- full wipe and reinstall ROM
The [email protected]&# message comes back every time. I have googled this and strangely have not found much on it, nor any clear/useful ideas on getting rid of it, or what app/process makes it show up. Really frustrating...

Damn, finally figured it out, appears it was legit. Maybe associated with the fact that I recently turned on, and then turned off, two step verification with my Gmail account. Hit continue and Google verified my account settings. I had already done that on my pc, but for some reason Google wanted to verify on my phone as well. Weird!
