Try a clean flash i.e. wipe everything except internal and sd. Then flash rom then gapps and magisk if u use it. It should work fine. Try pico or nano pack they cause no issues

did you install custom phonebook.apk? (ex. Xperia S apps)
1. if yes, try to install the original phonebook.apk manually and open it. (do not import contacts cause you contacts are still there)
2. then install back the custom phonebook.apk manually.
In my case, it solved the problem.
It just means that the process has had to stop, it must be linked into your applications. I get a similar issue on some of the bloatware.
Yep, quick google shows it as syncing issues, try clearing data on contact storage remember to backup first as it'll probably delete your numbers etc.

[Q] Boeffla Kernel and SuperSU problem.

I could not find any "official" thread forthe Boeffla-Config/Kernel, so I thought I'd give it a chance here.
I am currently running Android 5.0.2, and by looking at Boefflas official page, I could not find a suitable kernel; however I was told CM12 Alpha 9 is supposed to work.
Now to my problem, I just reinstalled my phone, and these are the steps I did concering Boeffla:
Here is what I did:
Downloaded and installed 2.1.67_boeffla-config-v2.apk from official site.
Installed SuperSU among other things (reflashed the phone actually, so Google Play installed alot of apps)
Tried to start Boeffla-Config, granted with SuperSU but was denied.
Removed Boeffla from SuperSU and started it again but no go.
Here is a screenshot of what comes up when I try to start it:

I've had this problem before, but that was ages ago, and I cannot remember how I solved it..
Please, help would be much appreciated.
@maaljen: This is the Link to Boeffla-Thread.
You must flash the Kernel 1st. Then the ConfigApp works. You need the NG-Kernel.

Yh maybe, but its not that. It doesn't work, doesn't go further of that. That's the last thing I can see when I boot remix os.
I just want to recover one app data. So if I reinstall and I copy the data.img from the previous installation it will work?
I did a fresh install and I have the same problem. Remix os doesn't boot.

"Multi_CSC : There are common apks"???

I have recently flashed a fresh stock firmware using Odin to my Samsung Ace S5830i after testing out some custom ROMs. Then, after installing the same custom Kernel ([email protected]) and ROM (TouchWiz-Resurrected 2.0) from the last time, the apps I've installed to that ROM was still there and the same thing happens over again when I flash stock then install the Kernel and ROM, even factory reset from the settings doesn't remove the apps (though it should be removed from the stock flash).
And then I saw from the stock recovery this message, "Multi_CSC : there are common apks". So I think that the apps are stored somewhere on the filesystem...

What actually is the meaning of this? And how can I recovery from such situation like this?
Any idea/suggestions?
Thanks in adance.
