My build this custom rom is different installation like other rom,, read carefully!!
1. Download the ROM from Downloads
2. Extract inside folder..named "lineage-14.1-stable version-for_moto_c_plus_by_shripad"
and place it in external sd card.. Must place extracted folder in this path
/storage/sdcard/TWRP/BACKUPS/Moto_C/
3. Wipe everything execpt SDcard (Internal memory is optional).
4.Next Restore ,,Choose provided file ,located in sdcard
5.Tick all 3files system,boot,nvram..and swipe it.

Root is possible with the lineage OS su. But flashing magisk requires the stock boot image.

Yes..it can boot on all 2gb models of moto c plus ( xt1723, xt1726)

hmm.... but u need to port boot.img for u r device..otherwise it may not boot,,have u same kernel?(3.18.35+??)..then it works..

What is XOSP and how was it born?
XOSP stands for the Xperia Open Source Project. The project was initially created by me (@nilac) for the Galaxy S+ (my old device) years ago. Back then the ROM was called S+ Reborn. The vision was to create a minimal bloat free ROM which included Sony Xperia specific apps and various tweaks users would expect from a custom ROM.
S+ Reborn became a success and was eventually ported to different devices so from there I rebranded and XOSP project was founded. I worked on the project for 2 years always trying to improve it. Eventually, Because of the fact Lollipop was buggy on my Galaxy S+ (Which I maintained xosp for at the time) I decided to take a break from development until I got my hands on the Zenfone 2 in 2015 and from then I started again the development of XOSP and continued it ever since.
What Represents a Release and what represents a Revision?
Revisions include small changes such as bug fixes/improvments etc.. (Usually there are made like 3 revisions per-release).

tested the rom! all bugs present in LOS14.1 for GPVE are present in this rom too. on first boot when i was checking device info, it rebooted and after reboot when i did same it didnt so can confirm it randomly reboots. also no file manager no music player no video player are installed inbuilt. one thing is now clear that development for LOS14, RR5.8 and XOSP will be parellel because same bugs are present in all three ROMs so when fixed in one, another will have fix too all the best n expecting to use stable release soon :good:

About the random reboots, I've a solution (don't know if anyone else had posted this before)
If you're using single-SIM, put your SIM into slot 2. I really don't know why putting SIM in slot 1 causes random reboot issue
For dual-SIM, put the SIM which you use mobile data to slot 2, and switch mobile data to slot 2
Now enjoy your ROM

2 sims
Think i know why when you have 2 sims installed the network drops and never comes back even after restart
when you do a clean install and in the initial setup it asks if you want to select mobile data if you select no both sims work and dont drop out
if you select yes then it stays for around 2-5 min and goes
this is where i think the problem is if you go into the settings both sims select 3g and there is no other option
in the stock there is more then one option but you cant have both sims on the same network like 3g on has to be on one and the other on the other setting like cdma
this is what the problem is both sims are trying to use 3g and it is causing conflicting issues like signal loss

Motorola sources don't permit to build a 64bit rom, so, you need 32bit gapps

So it's really impossible to build any 64 bit rom?
@Zenzfum000 thnxx for the info...... @vache i think i have found a bug. it is regarding camera. 1) focusing and exposure is not working smoothly(especially exposure) 2) if i double press the screen the camera hangs and i need to forcibly close the camera and reopen.
Does this custom ROM ships with root? And does it also support OMS? Thank you all for all the effort you guys put into this

Moto uses 32 bit bus. U can't have 64 bit on it. I hope it's clear now. It's not gonna happen at all in anyways for this device.

It's not like this my friend, the only reason one can't make a 64 bit compatible ROM for potter is that there are no 64 bit versions of the device specific blobs .

ROM works great and very smooth. However, I can't find a way to run gapps in order to use the app version of certain social medias. Props to the devs of this as it works great on my Ascend G7 (which is compatible thanks to @luistro). Anyone have any tips for making the gapps work?

What works: wifi, bluetooth, it boots, sound is 30% working.
Nothing else works so stop asking for SIM or other bugs. We have already tested the builds and only wifi and bluetooth works. Stop spamming. If you are going to complain about bugs please do so with a logcat.

Download the Catlog app from the Play Store.

CrDroid has not so many issues, the only difference between PE (Pie) and these ROMs is Rapid Charging, all other ROMs show and charge Slowly.

Lots of errors and Unstable
I am facing lots of errors on installing this ROM. first of all, I constantly get error android.process.media has stopped, android.process.phone has stopped, ETC. Also, I get error on trying to connect wifi, saying failed to connect network. also my sim cards are not being detected.

In my opinion this is by far the best ROM for this device in terms of customization, performance and battery life.
I have recently installed this rom and I must say it is amazing! Stability, features, and even if it has an old security patch, it still is nice. Even if, I could just use the gsi version of this. Thanks for making this
