Starting a few weeks ago, when I turn on my bluetooth, my phone would vibrate every 10 seconds or so and not find any devices. I've tried turning the phone on and off, updating to the latest OS version and even clearing the cache. Nothing works. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?

Hello everybody,
since a few weeks i am facing problems which make my phone nearly unuseable. When i lock the screen, it will reboot or simply turn off in about 1-2 minutes.
I figured if i let the device play music with a music app like spotify, and lock the screen, it wont turn off or reboot. Since that i need to have headphones plugged in and play music 24/7 to keep the phone alive.
I tryed flashing a new kernel, new and old roms (CM and Paranoid), i cleared dalvik, cache and tryed factory resets, nothing works. No matter what the device is running, when in sleep, it will reboot or shut down.
Hopefully someone knows how to solve this problem, allthough i do not hope anyone else is facing this problems!
Best regards,
Philipp
Hey guys
The wifi on my galaxy s3 just randomly stopped working. I was sick for a week and just left it in the car, and when i got it out, it kept turning it self off and wouldn't connect to the wifi. Instead of just not being able to connect, it cannot scan for wifi availability. It just turns off. Everything else works fine. I've restared and completly cleared the phone. I have no idea what is wrong with it, nor how to fix it. Any ideas or suggestions???
Flash full stock firmware and factory reset, if still the same then it's a hardware fault.
I have this problem on my samsung galaxy s3 (i9300) when I try to start the bluetooth it stays in the state turning on for a while and then it stops trying and goes off. Do you guys have any suggestions?
Bump.
Factory reset, then flash latest stock firmware with Odin.
If still the same then it is hardware.
Hi guys.
I have a similar problem. I already tried a bunch of different ROMs and even stock that came with the phone and cant seem to make it work.
It paired successfully with a headset but it doesn't connect to it at all. When I turn discovery on it stays on for 10-15 secs and than bluetooth turns off and back on.
Sending files is a no-go also.
Is there any way to make sure its hardware issue? Is it really common that bluetooth chip dies?
I found the solution. I had tried factory reset, flashing other roms and clearing cache none of this stopped my bluetooth from turning off by itself.
I have to turn off wi fi go to task manager clear cache and then I can start bluetooth normally. I think this is a hardware isaue becouse the wifi and bluetooth are in 1 chip. This is just a workaround so you can use your bluetooth

Hi. I have the same issue. Wireless is working but Bluetooth cannot be started.
Can you tell me where you cleared the cache? (step by step?)
Can it also have something to do with the Kernel?
I rooted my phone a month or two ago using odin and TWRP recovery, and I also flashed a new rom (Resurrection Remix 6.0.1). I have since had constant issues with my bluetooth headphones, which are the only bluetooth device i use with this phone. I have searched online and looked at many forums but I couldn't find very much information to help me. My issue is that there are random times where the audio from my headphones gets very choppy and unintelligible, kind of like static. It only occurs for a few seconds though, then everything resumes perfectly fine. Another big issue I have is that when I wake the screen, the same audio choppyness will occur and it will usually stay like that on the lockscreen, and when I unlock my phone, it goes away after a bit. My phone will also randomly show the message "Bluetooth messenger has stopped working" sometimes, usually after my phone is unlocked after a while of not using it. I have turned off my phone's doze function, cleared the cache many times, and factory reset it to no avail. Hope you guys can help.
When I click my wifi icon it lights up like it's trying to turn on, but turns off after a few seconds without connecting. I can temporarily fix the problem by restarting my phone. It will turn on and connect after restarting. But if I turn the wifi off and back on again, it has the same problem. I really don't want to have to restart my phone every time I want to use the wifi, so if anybody has any idea how to fix this, that would be awesome.
Never had that issue, I'm currently on latest fw v10m and no issues at all, connected to Wi-Fi ax router.
Is this a mesh type access point. Been having issues with google wifi. It stops connecting to the same ap after a while but it will connect to the other ap's . Once I reboot I'm back to normal. There is another thread with this info. Unfortunately no fix yet, looks like a bug. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next update.
