This is the T-Mobile Oreo rom completely stock.
I made this for the ones that want to update but can't.
I've spent alot of time trying to help everyone.
So here it is the simple way.
Flash the Oreo firmware zip
Here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A658TDayIzxzduRqGe01L-czKvJi74G4/view?usp=drivesdk
Then flash twrp here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c-YVDY8rv-d1xw6UjMwr8voL9-L00Npm/view?usp=drivesdk
Then flash stock rom here
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Z8kqfaftHGKsvSIdFVXm7TXAwwI1n7MC/view?usp=drivesdk
Custom roms will be coming soon.
So if you use my work give credit.

Yes! Thank you! I'm on Oreo!
I'm running this stock version still, which I rooted with magisk. I then installed substratum and theming seems to work so far with Oreo on the Life.
I'm running a dark theme and it's nice. Oreo is pretty rad so far.

Yea it doesn't affect me. But there is going to be more options once I put together a aroma installer. Other roms should be coming from others to I just made it real quick so people can have the goodness of Oreo.

I'm getting a ru_security_fail when trying to flash the firmware...so I'm assuming I'm missing something simple in the 'how to flash this' bit. Any tips?
edit: when I try to flash through my recovery rather than ./fastboot, I get a corrupted .zip bit, so I might need to redownload.

If your flashing in download mode fastboot oem rebootRUU
then fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
If u put it on your external sdcard rename zip to 2Q3FIMG.zip and reboot to download mode and it will give you options to flash

yes, you do need to unlock the bootloader and you will lose your data during the process
this is for those who got the bootloader unlock already
if you're rooted use titanium backup and restore your data afterwards
-=-=-
as an alternative you can wait for the OTA to arrive on your phone , it will be updated and your data will be preserved

Technically yes, but it's really easy to avoid that. There's an app that lets you unlock the bootloader without using data and to install the factory image without losing data you just edit the install script and remove one little switch ("-w") from the last command.
It's not recommended - but it's easy to do.
How would I go about flashing this if I have everything stock except the kernel?

As you might seen, Android 6.0.0 is live as factory images for now. ROM FLASHABLE ZIP
Works like a charm in Multirom, so fell free to download it to install it as secondary rom.
Bootloader is new. Grab it from here and flash it with Fastboot.
Radio is the same as DP3, so if you tried Android M Developer Preview 3, and flashed its radio img, there is no need to do it once again. For people using Lollipop radio, you can obtain Marshmallow radio img here. flash it with fastboot too.
BOOTLOADER + RADIO FLASHABLE ZIP FROM LEAN ROM DEV, ANDROID 6.0.0 IMAGES https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347830321
You can have a look at a quick video I made about Marshmallow here
BONUS : MATERIAL BOOTLOADER IMGDATA FLASHABLE, GIVES A MATERIAL FEELING TO THE NEXUS 5 BOOTLOADER
Im not able to answer everybody so I will write 2-3 things here.
This zip doesn't wipe data, cache, or dalvik. It only writes the system, and flash kernel. You have to full wipe including system partition if you want to get it working properly. Custom kernels are supported, and SuperSU used version must be at least 2.50 Beta.
To finish, if it doesn't boot for you, make sure you updated bootloader and radio to the M ones. If your phone can't boot at all, try another ROM. If it doesn't boot either, consider checking persist partition.
Enjoy it
Thanks!

You can't flash m as secondary., only with the build from tessadar, normally builds are always flash primary. You can use whatever radio you want. The radio doesn't need a.special Android version.

Nougat could introduce more issues (e.g. Xposed doesn't work with Nougat as of today... Magisk & SuperSU... who knows?) but in theory steps should be the same...
More: this is unknown to most (and I don't have a clear explanation for it... only some hypothesis...) but even TWRP could have issues...
On another phone I've found (only one time to be honest... ) that an updated firmware required an updated TWRP to have it working (older one simply doesn't booted anymore even if reflashed...)

Hi guys,
I installed the twrp 3.1.1 from OpenKirin but when i boot into it i cant find a single file i moved in the root.
Is there an option or anything i messed up? i also cant install SuperSU even from an external SD Card
And ofc the normal System update fails too but now i cant install a custom ROM or anything else.
Hope you can help me
with best regards
Muffin

I recommend you put stock recovery and wait for the new TWRP to be released soon.

It's not bootloader locked but rather FRP locked.
