what does the files do in the above link ?
The main difference is that the single file doesn't Factory Reset the phone after flashing, but the 4 file firmware does factory reset and remove absolutely everything and make it like an out of the box phone.
The 4 files are called Binary Firmware which contains all the files in certain order:
Bootloader contains all the boot files
AP contains all the system and recovery files.
Modem/CP contains phone network and wifi software.
CSC contains PIT file and cache removing IMG which puts all the files in order and repairs any damage firmware has before.
Thats why they are called repair files.
Here is instruction how to flash that 4 files:

I have Korean Galaxy S2 (SHW-M250K). Last night i recieved an update message KI06 on kies. I started update.
But after downloading update in PC the update process stuck at 3% while flashing the phone. After an hour i removed cable and tried to do emergency update but it was still stuck at 3%.
I tried to flash KG5 with odin but it was also stuck at FSimage.I tried to download again.
Now my phone can go in download mode but PC cannot recogenize usb. and USB not recogenized message appear.
Please HElP what to do?
Is my phone bricked or there is some way to flash it.
Now my phone can go in download mode

Then you aren't bricked.
You'll need to reflash using Odin to what ever firmware you were using.
As long as you can access download mode you aren't bricked. It may be a little difficult to use odin if you never have.. But rest assured, you are not bricked.
I have ODIN mode on my phone but when i connect the USB cable to pc, my PC does not recogenize usb. and yellow pop up message of "USB not recogenized" appears. so i cannot flash it it with ODIN or Kies.
I have to solve this USB problem to proceed. Do you have any suggestion for this.

Ok
I am on my way to figure out driver problem.
But there is one more thing.
My orignal firmware was korean. But now after unsiccessfull Odin flash my Download mode Screen and "Firmware update failed" screen has changed to english version. Is there a possibility that Odin curropted my Phone modem .
Also one more thing.
I cannot charge my phone because whenever i connect usb or AC charger the computer and mobile icon with yellow mark appears.
modem has nothing to do with the language settings.
update may have changed the firmware, just go into settings, language and change it back.

Yes it can be changed but right now my phone cannot go past " Firmware upgrade encountered an error. Please select recovery mode in kies and try again" screen.
Also i cannot flash because windows is not detecting my Phone's modem correctly.
Windows does not need to see your modem to flash .

Fairly simple answer you have flashed a non korean firmware .
What is this Odin mode on the phone is it Download mode ???
Stock Roms .and csc

I wonder if you have the right instructions to follow ??Or are you flashing a wrong firmware .
Personally i would take to a service centre and tell them Kies broke it .

Ammm, you are flashing an incompatible rom on your phone
You should refer to the [SHW-M250*] Korean Galaxy SII M250S / M250K / M250L Users thread for advice on your phone, the firmwares posted in the link above would not work.

Should be no difference other than version differences in the ODIN apps themselves. ODIN is ODIN.

What has usb debugging to do with bricking devices?USB debugging is active only when all services are up and running.Untill then its bootloader and kernel!
Also,.pit file contains only partition Information Table. So you can use it like you want. And I have always been flashing with pit file and not even once failed.Although you could use it only when flashing a whole rom!Not when flashing just kernel/modem etc...
To OP: Look if you have kies running at behind. It hinders the update process and kies too listen to download mode as it is the method kies uses to update.Does S plus uses some kind of lag fix in custom roms?Heard of those in sgs days.Dont know what fs S plus uses.

Retrieving IMEI and data connection after flashing package root WRONG I9305 Intended for:
Make sure you have the Samsung Kies or Samsung USB Driver installed on your PC.
Download and extract: Odin3 3.04.zip for your PC, if you have not already.
Download and extract: Param_Bin_I9305.zip for your PC.
With the phone turned off, press and hold: + 'Volume Down' HOME '+' POWER 'to enter Download Mode.
Connect your phone to PC via USB cable and start Odin.
Make sure your phone is connected to see if a COM port in a blue box is present in ID: COM.
Press the "PDA" and select the "Param_Bin_I9305.tar.md5 'file that you extracted the ZIP file before.
Press the 'Start' button and wait for it to finish flashing. If successful, you will see a green box with "PASS!".
Wait for your phone to reboot then go to the Dialer and press: * # 06 #. You should now see your IMEI and your data connection will be back.

Hey everyone!
I'm having trouble with my android nokia 3. I turned it on after a week of it being off, charged it and connected it to wifi to see if it had any updates to download. It said it had a system update so i downloaded it and told it to install. After the process it went into recovery mode and has been stuck there ever since! I try to reboot and it just goes back into recovery mode. I tried executing a system check and it comes up with a lor of errore, in the end the basic check comes up as failed and the advanced one too.
If i connect it to a PC it will not be recognized, so i'm guessing my only option is to find a way to install everything via SD card.... but i have no clue where to start from.
It is a nokia 3, was running Android 7.1, already tried to factory reset with no results.

i connect it when it is off and press a volume button like the guide says and i get an error:
ERROR: S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004)

and another error in other cases that says:
ERROR:S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS_NOT_READY (5000)
This is a secure baseband chip! Please select the authentication file first
Hmm , try with another firmware for your device and make sure that scatter file is the same version as your phone cpu for example MT6737M . That error is I think because bootloader is locked.
here is one make sure is for your device I mean your CPU

How to i see what CPU i have?

If you know your model : write your model on the internet and see specification for your device and there you will find which CPU has.
No luck... still getting the same ERROR: S_BROM_DOWNLOAD_DA_FAIL (2004) - [H/W] Fail to download DA to baseband chip's internal SRAM! error on 4 different FW i downloaded all for MT6737... i've found 1.4Gb as well as 1.5Gb ones, all Nougat 7.1.1
Any other solutions i could try?

None of the firmwares have a Checksum.ini file, i tried the steps above (formatting) and when i connect the phone it gives me
ERROR: S_AUTH_HANDLE_IS:NOT:READY (5000)
[user] this is a secure Base-band Chip! Please select the authentication file first.
The battery on the phone is completely dead, can that change something? It shouldn't right? It says to remove the battery if the battery is removable (it isn't) on the program
On some phones you can't flash without the battery because the phone once is recognized it get's soon disconnected so put the phone to be charged for about 6 hours if not put litle more and try again to flash .
Tried again with charged battery, keep getting the AUTH HANDLE IS NOT READY error.

I recently purchased a Samsung A10 for my daughter from the internet ( Dutch version of Craigslist ).
Although the phone was wiped, there is still a google account connected to the phone ( which i dont have acces to) so i cant install anything.
The seller doesnt respond to messages so i have to find another way.
I was able to do a hard reset, but that didnt help.
I download Odin, but the phone doesnt get recognized in Windows and i presume that USB debugging is not enabled and so is the bootloader...
any suggestions??
Check your bootloader version and try to get a FRP bypass Rom which can be flashed from odin

To recognize your phone on windows, you have to install the Samsung usb drivers. After you did that, reboot your phone in Odin/download mode and check open odin software. If it's recognised by the app, then it's working and u can download and flash your stock firmware again.
Stock firmware can be downloaded from sammobile.

That's because the pit file in the firmware doesn't match your phone's pit file. For example your phone's storage is 32 GB but you are flashing a firmware for 16 GB phone.
Are you able to boot into the phone's operating system?
