I have flashed RR ROM, nthat there was already magisk app. I checked with root checker app I found not rooted so I flashed SuperSU..
Now I have already flashed SuperSU.. now ill flash magisk and again I'll flash SuperSU remover... Is it ok to do this method... Or I need to remove SuperSU first then flash magisk

Ok , Im running CM 13 i9300 and it worked so well except the camera. I always got the error "Can't connect to camera" . So I was trying to fix that problem and I found couple of solution . The solution need an app that requires SuperSU permission . And It was kinda weird because there's no "permission asking" popup from SuperSU. So I open SuperSU and it told me to update SuperSU binary file. So I tried to update it and it failed. So I tried to update it manually but I found other thing which is to flash the latest version of SuperSU direct from chainfire website. I deleted the old SuperSU (The one that needs to be updated) and I flashed the new SuperSU zip and wipe dalvik cache through my TWRP Recovery and then I reboot my phone . And got stuck at the Cyanogenmod Logo . So what should I do to get my phone back to normal ? I mean back to CM13 and everything I have before. PLS HELP
Note : actually , after I flashed CM 13 . I dont have the SuperSU in my apps . So I manually downloaded it from the playstore . It's weird because it should automatically be there .

I seriously dunno about the root access at the developer settings . Now my phone is soft bricked and I'm gonna lose all of my data. Any clue on how to reflash the CM13 without deleting my stuff?(factory reset)
p/s : Yes , It's in the Developer settings
Boot into TWRP and reflash the same version of CM that was on the phone before it soft-bricked.

Should I clear data , wipe cache and dalvik , factory reset all that or just go to TWRP and just flash
You could just flash over the existing ROM without wiping. If it doesn't boot, wipe cache. If it still doesn't boot, wipe data and cache.

I have a T-Mobile LG G5, H830.
Current system is unlocked bootloader, TWRP installed, Rooted with Super SU.
Android version H83020F
Kernal 3.18.31-As hard_v4.1
How do I switch/ install to Magisk? So I can use Android pay?
The guides I found are for unrooted devices and wheren't specific to LG G5 H830 so I wanted to ask here before I try something.

Go into TWRP, reinstall Asgard kernel (may not be necessary but doesn't hurt) and then flash magisk v12. Reboot into system and open up SuperSU app and go into settings and click on full unroot and restart. In magisk manager make sure you enable magisk hide and don't use built in busy box (using magisk hide and built in BusyBox causes issues with root not showing up).

I did what you said and it did not go well.
After many attempts, I was finally able to remove SuperSu and install Magisk and it said it was rooted.
Some how I lost all of my apps, settings, etc.
Then I went into settings and selected the option to restore to factory settings so I could get it to ask me to restore my apps from my Gmail account when it would reboot after factory reset.
HOWEVER, now it only reboots into TWRP recovery.
So I tried reinstalling Magisk and it still only boys into recovery. I tried reinstalling the kernel and it still only reboots into recovery. Then I tried installing the rom, the kernel, and Magisk and it still only boys into recovery.
Why won't it boot? In the TWRP advanced wipe... What options ships be selected to wipe before reinstalling the rom?

First of all, flashing magisk wouldn't make you lose any settings so not sure exactly what happened there. Secondly, never use factory reset option from phone when you have TWRP installed. Now to get out of TWRP bootloop go into TWRP, click advanced and then terminal and type the following:
Code:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/misc bs=256 count=1 conv=notrunc
Then reboot into system.

Help for install magisk
Can u give me step by step how to install magisk? My position on h830a, rooted, UBL, twrp.
i have xposed, busybox, gltools,
Can i directly flash magisk via twrp or flash asgard first?
Because i can't found asgard yet for H830
Thanks before
i have twrp but not root (i deleted my /system directory)
how can I get root back easiest? Also I have magisk on my rom, should i just flash magisk or flash BOTH super su and magisk?
Full story:
i have twrp
wiped my /system and installed a rom clean
Think doing so wiped my root which I haven't done for years (if I remember correctly I downgraded to stock COMPLETELY then re-rooted, then re-installed TWRP etc)
Is there a less arduous process? I have TWRP but no root. I tried to flash the Magisk.zip and it didn't work. Anything else I can do?

Yes i first wiped internal storage when i was using miui beta rom . I transferred pixel experience custom rom and wiped dalvik cache , system, data and then flashed pixel custom rom from my internal storage. It is working fine but magisk installer 16.0 is not flashing . The process is ending with error 1 in redwolf custom recovery. Nor the superSu is helping . SuperSu is installing successfully but after booting the device I was not able to find superSu application in my phone.

Bro... What you did tell me... I have same problem with my rmn4 , i installed the custom rom and now I can't root the device... Tell me in detail.. bro... I need help..
I'm having this same problem and i managed with flashing magisk 14.0 which can root pixel experience and other Roms with ease. Magisk 15.3, 16.0, 16.3 and 16.4 all give error.
Hey, am using DotOs 2.4 on my Redmi 4x but i can't able to root access. I tried so many times when i flash SU.zip file the results goes successful but when i reboot to system again still here's no root access. Please Reply and tell me the best solution!
flash treble twrp recovery and then magisk 16.4 treble zip, search it
I am using the kenzo version with 3gb ram.
I am currently on resurrection remix rom 6.1 and am updating the rom via dirty flashing it. I thought about rooting the rom via magisk flash and was thinking if the device can be updated after rooting it. If yes then how?
I don't understand the question if you are asking about if you can update with magisk, yes you can, I think you have to reflash magisk after updating the rom.

Sry.
I am talking about updating my rom. Can i update it once i have rooted it? Cause i read magisk does some changes in the boot sector and i don't want that while updating my rom(via dirty flashing) causing it to bootloop.

yes, you can update your ROM without any problems after root it's with magisk, don't worry it's won't cause bootloop or anything, if you want to update ROM , just flash ROM , gapps , wipe cache and dalvik cache then reboot.

one more things I forgot to tell you , you don't need to reflash magisk after flashing update rom coz twrp will automatically flash magisk after flashing rom. however you need to flash magisk again if you make a clean flash .
