Everything looks fine, but I don't know how to test DRM function properly.
Would be so kindly and help me out?
At the moment, WiFi, BT, screen/touch etc. working as it should

Good news, thanks for that.
Check this post for how to check DRM status: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52990972&postcount=3
Widevine and CKB are OK, there is nothing more on my phone.
So may I assume that your DRM fix is working?

Yes, that sounds like it's working just fine
After few hour of testing and normal phone usage I can report that there is no issues at all
I hope it will stay that way
Looks intresting. What features are you planning to add next?

I remember looking into this before when working the x compact and decided it doesn't work like that. I can't recall the exact reason.
Would it be possible to include OC/UC control as well as .kcal support?
Thanks!

I'm a little nervous about adding OC support to the X compact and X. On the X compact, the phone already overheats when under heavy load. That doesn't make a good case for overclocking on these devices for very little gain in real world performance.
I'll look into adding KCAL support.
Has anyone played with undervoltage? I have very little experience with the SD650 running under a custom kernel.
KCAL would be nice.
OC? I don't think so, X gets pretty hot when used as a video call device or while heavy gaming.
It would be better to add UC or give us a chance to modify some voltages for better battery life and less heat.
After all there is no error on my phone, Magisk work perfect, more advanced functions are working perfectly fine with your kernel.
Some undervoltage recommended?
On another phones like Nexus 5 with ElementalX Kernel , SoC works fine using 750mah with [email protected],4/2,5Ghz (Yeah, Overheating is there), and [email protected],1/1,6GHz and 730mah...
Curiously, with their Kernel App UI, you could make another type of Undervolting or force the SoC to other low frequencies... And when you try to install Higher Frequencies installing the kernel, the phone is locked later on Splashlogo/Bootlogo (For Voltage fault, I guess).
I think that you could some similar Kernel for this... And if you think put OC option remember the Overheat and some method for a cooler
- Send from my Oven Xperia X (Bye paint, hallo Aluminium back cover :3).

Any ETA for new version of your kernel?

I guess you have provided a wrong kernel in your directory. I think the one you have provided is for Samsung Ace 2. Plz look into it. Really would like to try your kernel.
Downloaded the file zwliew-kernel-r1.zip
Got error in recovery. After checking updater script, it appears something is wrong
Booted with Krypton Rom 1.4.1

Ok I am confused why are the build dates of all the files JULY but the commits are as new as 10 hours ago?
Anyone seen any performance improvements or other user noticeable improvements over lets say faux or krypton? Just curious looks like way more activity on this kernel

Important / read before flash mandatory
This build is only for the LG-H815 EUR, AND NO OTHER VARIANT.
Do NOT flash it on any other variant, only on the H815. Bugs and any problems resulting from flashing this on any other variant than the H815 will be ignored and reported.
Flashing on a wrong variant may also hardbrick your phone for all I know, so stay away from it.
This build is not a Stable release, but considered a Beta. Much more will be added as soon as I have lived together with my new phone for a while.
The build has only been tested on the version V10c-EUR-XX.

IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT SELECTING GOVERNORS:
WARNING: It has not yet been tested how the phone will behave if A53 and A57 don't use the same governor. There might be everything between smoothness, lag, instability, bricks or Unicorns, I don't know. I highly advise to ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME GOVERNOR ON BOTH CLUSTERS and NEVER RUN A GOVERNOR ON ONLY ONE CLUSTER AND NOT THE OTHER. You have been warned. EXAMPLE: If you select Ondemand for A53, also select it for A57

Known BUGS
Known BUGS
- Broken extSDcard
Probably related to LGs disabling of exFat support in the kernel config.
If you flash the kernel, your external sdcard might not be recognized. According to reports, it might also work if you insert it after flashing.
However according to one report, the card was formatted by itself after flashing and all data was lost. I'm still trying to verify the report.
Your phone might probably ask you to format your extSDcard when it has troubles recognizing it (usually after booting, but it might happen at anytime else as well), DO NOT format it! You WILL LOSE ALL YOUR DATA ON THE CARD.
A build with a hopeful fix will be available once I am back from vacation. It is highly ADVISED NOT TO USE AN EXTSDCARD WITH THIS KERNEL UNTIL THEN.
Hopefully coming up when I'm back from vacation:
- IntelliThermal
- FauxSound
- KCAL
Hopefully, since it needs some adaption, but some stuff might not work on our chipset, I don't know yet.

That would somehow void the purpose of locking the bootloader in the first place
At the moment it is impossible, sorry. You'll need an open bootloader to flash my kernel
P.S: Never try flashing it on a locked bootloader! Never!
Gonna flash it now and give it a go.

Thanks for the great work. Will flash when I get a second and report back on my experience..
With regards to your statement above, I have been trying this out using Kernel Adiutor for the past week or so on the stock kernel without any ill effect. As you state, it's not been properly tested and people should try and their own risk but so far it seems to be working for me.

On the first glance I didn't see anything in the governors either. I come from Samsungs 7420, where Interactive is adapted to serve both clusters, so I'll still have to survey if LG didn't do anything similar altough I didn't see anything on the first quick glance though. Chose the statement to take absolutely no chances until I had some quality time though

I haven't even downloaded the H811 source yet. Next sunday I'll return from a vacation and diff them out and then try to unify them if that is possible. Otherwise I would just make a separate build. H811 support is definately planned once I have the time for it
Keep in mind that I also need to take care of the CM kernel, which is my main focus at the moment

Hello everyone, it's a pleasure for me to share this great kernel; this is focused on stability and battery life
My dream (since I bought this phone) has been to have a kernel that suits my needs, to have great features and a rock-solid stability
I put all my time and heart to get this awesome product.
Please read this thread carefully. I will try to do my best to help you if you do the same
I'm back at it again, wishing you a happy new year and with a shiny new kernel, with a LOT newer kernel base and with a LOT of unneeded crap removed, this project has taken me more than a year to polish and I'm still doing it, but I've reached a state where I think it can be tested by you. My second m4 has completely broken (because it fell down xD), so that's why I need you guys to test it and give me feedback.
I promise you that it this is a whole different experience, you won't have any random reboots or battery drains at all

I, nor xda are responsible if you use this and brick your device or if your device blows up, implodes, flames start shooting from it or it kills your neighbor's dog. Flash at your own risk.
Some notes:
THIS WILL WORK ONLY ON UNLOCKED BOOTLOADERS
For now I won't be adding features because I need to finish other things
About features:
Compiled with Linaro 4.9
Improved cpu frequency scaling, before it used to ramp like crazy, and now if you aren't doing anything it will stay at the lowest freq, you can use this app to check
I've also added a wifi module replacement procedure that will Always Work(TM), regardless if it has been screwed up by other custom kernels, so you won't need to worry about no wifi and/or moving the module manually
Latest upstream Linux kernel version 3.10.108
Optimizations from LineageOS (I've based my kernel on their kernel for the msm8916 family)
This kernel is based on the latest tag of the CAF branch for the msm8916 family on nougat (LA.BR.1.2.9), which has got a lot of security and stability patches compared to our ancient stock kernel base
Cubbins' kanuti_hwid driver for bands -> The stock kernel had a really crappy solution for the mobile bands of the world regions, so this awesome guy coded a driver for this!
Pure mdss driver + pcc adjustments
Pstore support
Latest sdfat opensource filesystem, replacing the ancient and closed source tuxera module
Usb HID keyboard/mouse support you can install this and you're good to go!
Refactored bmm050 magnetometer driver
bma2x2 accelerometer sensor driver from CAF -> The stock kernel had an extremely initial and ancient version of this driver, I've spent more than a month porting it to the improved and newer driver from CAF
A LOT of cleanups everywhere, most likely you won't get to understand the big amount of removed crap so I'd suggest you to check my source repo
To control the kernel:
Use Kernel Adiutor
Installation instructions:
Just go to recovery and flash the zip!
Enjoy :')

Hi, I did what was said for the frequency of the CPU but I still get a problem about a random reboot
Anyone know what's the changelog with the v3.6 stable version that has been uploaded?
I do not run, I'm on the logo, what should I do? Maybe because of the processor?(sm-j510H)

Mine only detects 2-3 satellites, and the navigation don't work at all. It cannot detect my position.
How's the performance of LOS stable? Any noticeable lag? I don't play games so it's not that big of a deal.
Good work!
So ... first of all ... dear "Threat" master, please update the overview in the 1st entry - the ROM is now available in version 3.7 and is classified as "stable".
And I can absolutly agree after the first impression - I installed the version 3.7 yesterday, in several hours I had only one reboot / crash and so far I found no errors.
I have two questions at the moment ... in the hope that someone will know more:
1.) Who is the developer? I would like to thank him - VERY GOOD WORK!
2.) I have not managed to activate ROOT - the extra "addon-root" from the official lineageOS page does not work. Has anyone success with ROOT?

Welcome to the Twisted Kernel for the Galaxy S6 920F, and 925F.......These kernels
are based on G920TUVU5FQE1 with all the correct ramdisk merges. Both kernels also come
with Synaspe support.....which will be discussed more below.
I also want everyone to know that I have a 920T, not a F model,etc.....So I have built
these for YOU, not me. All I ask is a little bit of appreciation for the time I had to spend
on bringing this to yall. I dont think I'm asking for too much. Plus, I dont see very many
kernels here, especially with the amount of optimizations as mine do. Or rather, the experience
in building them.
SYNAPSE
Each kernel has Synapse support. Now, before anyone starts *****ing......there is some Java errors
that I still need to fix. They WILL NOT affect performance OR battery life. I just havent gotten around
to fixing them yet. But, I will be addressing them on the next update.
If you are unfamiliar with Synapse I would suggest that you do some reading on it. It can become
the best thing since sweet tea, or the worst like.......well, you get the picture. BUT, Synaspe does
have a safety feature......if you adjust something (like voltage) and either give or take away too much,
Synaspe will cancel out your selections on a reboot.
KERNEL FEATURES
A57 Cluster OC to 2304 MHz
A57 Cluster UC to 200 MHz
A53 Cluster OC to 1704 MHz
A53 Cluster UC to 200 MHz
Live CPU Stats
20 CPU Govs

UKSM Live Stats
Dynamic Dirty Page Writeback
Virtual Memory
Zswap Memory Pool
Kernel Entropy
Gentle Fair Sleeper Control
Arch Power Control
Randomisation
Freeze Timeout
Google Play Services Battery Drain Fix
Minimal Wake Lock Control (still working on this)
Power Suspend Control
EQ Sound Controls
Thermal Controls ( still working on this )
LED Notification Controls
13 TCP Algorithm
Optimize DataBase Controls
FSTrim Control
Wipe Options
Wipe Junk Folders
Build.prop Control
Logcat Controls
And Info
My kernels provide the best of both worlds, performance and battery life. If you want your
device to be wide open and battery life isnt a issue, you can tune it to fly just as fast as you
want. Or, if your the conservative type, you can tune it in to get you the best battery life you
can possibly have on the S6. The choice is all yours on how YOU want your device to run. All
I did was give you the means to do so........
MAGISK
My kernel comes with all the commits in order for it to pass all Safety-Net restictions. But,
Magisk can also cause issues such as loosing root on a reboot, or causing errors in Synaspe.
This is due to BusyBox which he has implemented in his binary. This is NOT a kernel issue.
So please dont flood my thread with things I cannot control.
SUPERSU
SuperSU works just fine. Only set-back is that it will not pass Safety-Net. BUT, he does have
a Aroma installer that just may help to pass all of Safety-Net bull........I myself uses SuperSU
Just make sure that you flash either Magisk or SuperSU after you flash the kernel. Failure
to do so will make it boot back to TWRP......
ISSUES/BUGS/REBOOTS
If you have any of these problems you need to speak up. I have been on this kernel for awhile
and have yet to run into any issues. Thats not saying that you won't either.....
REMEMBER, I BUILT THESE KERNELS FOR you.........

Me too like it but do I can ask you why 13.3 not newest 13.6? And which kernel you using, Twisted? I asking, because you told in info that Twisted isn't compatible with Magisk. I tried use Magisk 13.6 on NNE5.1 ROM with Twisted Kernel and didn't works

Hmm thanx bro im try it
Any chance to get 925W8 compatibility?
I got G925F and Twisted Kernel is not working for me on NNE5.1.... Its start to boot then reboot and back to recovery.
You must everytime reflash root (magisk/supersu.zip) directly after flashing new kernel.
Awesome work! @The Sickness One question though, is this the same kernel as the one you pulled off in the Original development section?
