That is download mode. Connect it and odin will recognize it.

Which firmware? You flashed one with the wrong bootloaders so that's why it doesn't turn on.

A home version dosen't contain the bootloaders but what did you do to get it like this?
Please do a search in the dev section. There's a way to get this fixed. You need to follow the steps.

I had that too! My luck was CWM. I installed it before and could get into it.
Then I had to restore an old backup.

Mine were all black screen but when I plugged into the PC, I would get it recognized as SEC-S5.... (can't recall the exact driver it was looking for). So mine was semi recognized. Now, if you are telling me that your PC does not recognize it at all, I am not sure what to tell you.
hi evry body, i really need help my cute galaxy ace was dead after flashing the wrong firmware by accedent (galaxy 551 firmware) now i'm not able to enter the download mode when i try to boot it on it just turns on the two virtual buttons, please thers no any way to flash to flash without entering to download mode or using another program ??,?? thank you so much

Thanks for reading this post i have a bootloop note 2 and i have no recovery apparently and one more problem my device goes into download mode but my comeputer nor odin find my device so two questions is there anyway to fix this and second im i srewed plz i need the help i need my note 2 back and im with verzion

Install Kies or your phones Samsung USB Drivers then Odin will recognize it
Connect and Flash stock firmware via Odin

Windows may take many attempts in recognition of drivers. Try installing and rebooting PC
If it doesn't work, try another port
If it fails, then you would have to use any other PC

have you tried a different version of odin as well as uninstall and reinstall the device drivers....you will need to restart your pc after these options are tried.
also...have u tried other computers...usb ports...cables...

its a linux based program similar to odin....but it allows flashing to specific partitions....tead the guide and if i was you...id search a bit about it. But it might recognize the device.

efs partition means your IMEI.
right?
I can't flash the firmware, I used odin but I could only use the "modem" file and that didn't work...

I don't have a Samsung man my experience with them it is not very good. Good to hear that your S1 is back in bussiness. Try the fix you showed for your S3. And if you get that back be sure to back-up your stuff next time.
