Hi, I am new to RemixOS, I tried to use the keymapping app, and I was able to put the controls where I wanted it to be, but when I was in game, it did not work! Yes, I saved it, and yes I did open and reopen it. Does the keymapper not work on some games?

I know this is a weird question but is it possible to play android games on pc with an emulator or something? I heard that there is an android emulator for pc so you can check out the os design and stuff like that but is it possible to install games (.apk) on it and play it?
Thanks for answers.
The Android SDK comes with an emulator, and you can use adb to install apps onto it, but it is incredibly slow!

Though that's likely to not work with some games - if they've used any C++ code, that'll be compiled for the Arm CPU rather than x86
Youwave for Android works great! My son wanted to play Robodefense on the PC so I found this little piece of software that's simple and uses .apk files I had on my G-Tablet.

I had high hopes for youwave after installing Android SDK and packages (They were really slow). Youwave seems nice and quick, but the first two apps I tried to play wouldn't work due to them not being supported by youwave
You can use Emulators to play games on PC
Some emulators come with inbuilt app store from which you can install and play the games.
For example Youwave. But they do have limitation like they cannot handle games that use ARM native code.
Also some famous games like fruit ninja , Angry Birds are available to be played online itself.

This may sound as a dumb question but I don't see how to start playing this game myself.
I installed Gensoid, found a ROM of Sonic The Hedgehog on ROM World and put the .smd file on my Archos 70.
However when I start Gensoid and browse to the .smd file, the game starts but only in a kind of demo mode. I cannot start playing myself.
What should I do ? Is there something that I have overlooked ?
(I have to add that I am not very experienced in gaming).
Thanks in advance for any help.
havent done this yet - but isnt there a message like "press start"?
Like in console games ever since... otherwise just try to press it.
Has Gensoid any overlayed softbuttons/are they enabled?
Anyway those games arent that much fun anyway on touch only devicec as softbutton play isnt like the good old console feeling and u dont always hit softbuttons in action games all the time
Anyway if u have a wiimote and gensoid support it u perhaps can connect it to you device and try - but u need a kind of driver + root to get it to work as far as i remember... search the prog in market.
Hi guys, I bought this app called FPse for android, so that I could play old PS games on my tablet.
I wanted to play some old aventure games, right now I'm trying the first harry potter game, and it lags as hell. Does anyone other than me have this app? I can't find the best combination of settings in order to get the game to play fine.

that app is a bit glitchy, i like Psx4Droid.
but some common setting that work well are
1. use the scph1001.bin as your bios. it's the newer bios file and has fewer conflicts with games
2.set the cycle multiplier as high as possible.
3.dont enable CDDA music.
4. enable frame skipping
hope that helps

Man that is an old post.
I lost my Gtab 10.1, left it on a plane, I don't have it anymore. :/
I have SuperGNES running on my mk808b ii. The main thing I like about it is that it grabs the covers for the games with a push of a button. Are there any other emu's for genesis, nes etc. that also do this. I tried it w/ xbmc but it wasn't working right and w/ xbmc I have to open up another program that I dont need open to get the one I want. Thank you for your help.
I was looking for the same thing but for the dropbox support
If I actually did help, how bout a Thanks for 'ol times sake

Hi!
I think first of all, if you want to use the phone at it fully potential, you need to activate the LG keyboard to use the keyboard in fullscreen on a screen.
Secondly, you need to use the Whale navigator or Google Chrome to have the better potential to navigate on the Internet.
Finally, I can propose you to download this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.refy.android.g8x.widemode
Whit this app, you can put any apps in fullscreen on the two screens.
Bonus : If you like to play with DS Emulator, try Drastic with the LG Gamepad. It's like play again with a Nintenso DS! *.*

You need to take the app right here : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsemu.drastic
Then, you need to download a Nintendo DS game in .nds format (example Pokemon Diamond). You put the file in a folder and you open it with the app.
(Note : I think you need to open the LG Gamepad on the other screen before to launch the app, because sometime the gamepad doesn't work when you open it after in my case.)
Another game changer app is dual launch for lg
We can custom apps which we can open in pair with this app.very helpful
