My s6 edge sensors are not working.. using *#0*# the values i get are all fixed none of them changes
Proximity gyro light barometer all of them are stuck
When i tried to flash the official stockrom downloaded from sammobile, it stopped in the end of flashing at hidden.img error.. i tried to solve that by extracting the hidden.img file and flashing it again(alone) which worked i.e my phone started and everything loaded.. but still no change on sensors status.. they are the same
Smart switch also stucks at 98% saying there is problem with your s6 edge.. so is it the software issue that my sensors are not working ? I mean the flashing process doesn't complete successfully as i stated earlier i do it manually, Also there is crackling sound coming out of speaker sometimes.
Is this all related to software or hardware problem

Hi, folks. My friend has a S2 phone with proximity sensor that not working. Auto-brightness does not working too. Also, if he compare his S2 with any other, 1st one have been loading on bootloader stage for 5-6 minutes that much slower any other S2.
What we've tried already:
- 3-file 2.3.3 service firmware, 4.0.4 and 4.1.2 with PIT file through ODIN, flashed many custom firmwares and AOSP firmwares, flashed old & new bootloader
- FOTA updates
- disassembling phone and finding parts that unstable or not working, didn't find anything
- ???
Ok, I think that proximity sensor is hardware problem. But why it stucking on bootloader for 4-5 minutes and only after that time it shows ROM animation and boot successfully?

Hi, prblem with my g925f star after flash with stock room, alfer it phone hand on samsung logo. I fixed it by flashing unikernel by odi. But now capctice touch key light not working, kyes are working but with no light, also light sensor not working coretly. When i run test menu it work and schow corect wolus, but when i make a call dispay always getting dark. i TRY ALEX V kernel, unikernel 8.02, and hacker unikernel , on all karnels same problem. I have twrp and flashen few custoom rooms, only one one ligdt sensor works ok, but keys lighst not working, but on other light snesor not working, but right keys start light HARDWARE IS 100% i try another lcd - sam problem. Any idea?

I had the same problem with stock rom and stock kernel. Wiping didnt changed anything. It fixed by itself after a while. In test menu everything worked. I hope it will fix the same way for you as for me.
I have got into a very strange problem, touch key lights and auto brightness of my galaxy s6 edge are not working, I have re-flashed the stock marshmallow rom many times, even before flash, factory rest it.
All the sensors are working perfectly in the test service menu. but respective functions are not working.
Then I downgraded from android 6 to 5 lollipop, and i lost the test service menu after it, now *#0*# not working even.
Then again upgraded to android 6 and still the service menu not working, And today i found that the audio jack is also malfunctioning, If i put the handsfree phone gets shutdown immediately or it dosent works. The songs plays in the loud speaker.

Flashed using odin.

Try flashing the modem and bootloader for your specific device, then go into recovery and do a manual factory reset and see how you go. Little weird for things to be doing that. You might have damaged your device fm with downgrading and upgrading

I am using the S6 Edge 925F with stock Rom. 2 days ago i change my charging port. after that all of my sensor (proximity, accelerator, light, gyroscope heart rate,...) doesnt work. i should to say that before changing the charging port phone accidently went to downloading mode and then powered off
i'm try:
1-wipe cach partition the factory reset
2-install stock rom 6.0.1 with 5 file and re-partiotion
Result: sensors not working.
i'm test with *#0*# and i see all sensor doest work
and then test sensor hub. result:
MCU firmware version: BR010
Bin firmware version: BR0116010800
MCU name :NG
FAIL
i found a working phone has the same version in both places, but my phone has not same firmware version
I don't know how to fix this. Can you guys please help me?

I have propblem. I installed the stock android 10 and after that my proximity sensor stoped working. During the call, screen wasnt turn off thus I downgraded. Now I am using stock android 9. It still not working. I dont know if the 10 stoped the prox. Hardware. How I can solve that problem. Should I need to wait for the new update or It can be a hardware problem. I formated many times It did not work. I reset no way. I entered to the hw check it says "not support this sensor". When I searched cominity. For note 8 after oupdate the hw passed the test. What to do?
I found a way but I need persist.img file. How can I find that file for mi a3

I have the same issue. The value for Proximity sensor in Hardware test (*#*#64663#*#*) is -1.

You can find persist.img inside the stock fastboot rom. The guys at 4pda also posted a download link of the persist.img and also a tutorial on how to flash it using twrp.
