Hello, Happy new year. I am new here. I need help. I have Alcatel A851L Sonic. I transfered build.prop from Lenovo A316i to my Alcatel A851L. then I transfer it to /system and when I restart phone it won't start up. it has black screen. I have original build.prop in my PC. I try to transfer it with ADB but I get error: read only file system. Next I remount system as read write but I still get error: permission denied. I have downloaded AlcatelIMG which I found on this website. I wanted to flash system.img with Miracle box crack but my phone won't get into fastboot mode. Please help me.

I have an HTC Hero with Android 2.1 firmware.
The problem is this: using "adb shell" and having a temporary root permission, I do this:
mkdir /sdcard/sys/
mkdir /sdcard/sys/app
mv /system/app/ /sdcard/sys/app/
At the time of startup, the Hero always gives the screen "Quietly brilliant" all the time. It don't start!
Still using "adb shell" I tried to restore the data copied to the SDcard, but I do not have root permissions.
I'm desperate, I do not know what to do.
Can you kindly help me?

I downloaded and run RUU_Hero_HTC_WWE_1.76.405.1_R3_WWE_release_signed_NoDriver.exe. The software start but write me this error: "Error [140]: Bootloader version error"

the link in my sig to root karbonn smart tab 1 may work on your mobile as that script uses the ics's symlink method to root
but its not my responsibility if your mobile got soft-bricked

I have tried all these step. I'm a newbie in android. I have a ZTE acqua a15 TMN with android 4.0.4!!
I have copy adb.exe, fastboot.exe and recovery-cwm6032-atlas40.img, into the same folder in my desktop. Then i open cmd and cd to the same folder the files are and type
adb reboot bootloader
The mobile reboot, and an android logo stays in the screen.. (like forever)

I rooted my z795G with king root apk v4.6. Then I used the kingroot2supersu switch script to get rid of king user. The only problem is that the system keeps making the system partition write only. I did more research and found out if u reboot your phone from your computer. To run your cmd box as administrator and type in the commands adb reboot disemmcwp and that boots back into a write able mode. King root will only be a temp root. Once you reboot it will be gone. I found a tutorial to unbrick it, but i can't do it since i haven't toggle the usb debugging in the developers settings. now I'm stuck at the animation. However every thing is working until it says error: device offline. Can anyone help me to make my device online via adb! PLEASE! HELP!!!!

Here is a good guide for ADB: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2141817
You will want to use push and push your fixed build.prop to /system
You will probably need to reset the permissions using ADB shell and chmod. You want rw-r-r, and I think the code is for that is 644.
luckily i already change to the original build.prop before restarting my phone..., so i don't know why it's still broken...
I am not trying to push the build.prop, i just want to flash the original ROM to my phone to make it like new again...
THL W5000 problems getting stuck on Boot, adb unauthorized/offline
Hello there Guys,
I already postet this in the XDA Assist Forum and I got redirected to here. So here´s my problem listed below. Hope for help from the Pros.
After I flashed a few tons of phones, this one gets me really p*ssed of. I can´t acces the THL W5000 with ADB, I can´t mount the SD-Card because in Recovery there is no Option for this to do so.
I cant push/pull files to/from the Phone. Got no luck with fastboot and it gets stuck on Boot screen, so I can´t accept my PC for adb to work.
And what I recently found out, the Bootloader is locked, so I can´t even Install from SD-Card. I got a new SD-Card with ROMs and TWRP, the Recovery is able to read the SD, but when I launch a .zip, it
suddenly appears the Message (in Dropbox the last Image):
Code:
-- Install /sdcard ...
Installation aborted.
I need help asap

Phone works again, just got the right ROM, pulled it onto SD, plugged into the SD Slot, installed ROM from there and suddenly it worked all.
