What about battery use? Any lags? And then why are those bugs listed above?
@@ki will keep maintaining this baby, I just gave him permission to the devDB project so he can post, edit, etc. here. If he's busy with something, I'll post his builds here. Now I have updated the OP info.
Initial testing. This rom is very smooth, the app drawer is also smooth and has the least lag on recent apps, compared to other roms. SELinux is Permissive, I think that should be clarified in the OP.
Everything else is perfectly working (audio, gps, camera). App switching is very fast, don't know what you did but it's fast. Battery life is also surprisingly, very good. (32% left as I speak since a full charge, alternating from heavy use to inactive use. It's been 9 hours so far. With mostly standby use I get a 10% drop every 5 hours. Using systemized Greenify).
Installed OpenGapps pico, no issues.
Comparison agaisnt Pixel Experience
-Same issue as with Pixel Experience that logcat spams "PowerHAL: power_hint: no power profile selected yet".
-It does NOT spam the "!bang JNI is deprecated". and the OGL error messages that Pixel Experience does. So it seems the gfx driver is better in this ROM.
-Mi Telcel doesn't crash at start or when not having the app in the recent apps list while having granted Dialer permissions to it previously.
-Unfortunaly Unity apps still crash on this ROM, such as PvZ Heroes and the like.
EDIT: APN is not auto-configured at setup, please fix. Also logcat spams it needs "Cs.apk" (Carrier Services) installed. You can get it from the Play Store. You'll need to exclude it from Battery Optimization, otherwise it complains about it being Battery Optimized when it shouldn't.

Known Issues:
4k Recording sometimes doesn't save; Use 1080p instead
D2TW doesn't stick after reboot
Release Notes: https://plus.google.com/106020481530876935386/posts/eHP5T4dbU1i
Note that ROM doesn't come with SU, so you'll need to flash SuperSU for root. Also, for future releases since backuptool isn't working yet, you'll need to flash all packages (ROM, GApps & SU) again when an update is released
Any issues with...
NFC?
Bluetooth?
GPS?
Is GSM working?
Thanks!!
Gsm, get prepared to see that asked 58 times. Thanks for rom for our ls990. Will check out a bit later.

Everything is OK but some issues.
Everything is nice and buttery, just some things I've noticed:
1. WiFi keeps disconnecting when connected to a 5 GHZ open network that requires you to sign in. Is there anyway to help fix that (is there a WiFi log or something?)
2. Data is a little wonky. It takes some time for it to connect to data and switch between LTE and 3G. Sprint Spark works though.
3. Bluetooth range lower than stock I noticed.
Thanks for your hard work. I been wanting to run PA ever since that PA post for kikat was halted.
WOOT
Thanks for this. Everything is buttery smooth, data does act wonky when going from LTE to 3g as stated. Also I tried to get ambient display to work and no combination of settings seems to work. All in all sweet rom. Thanks again

Same here. I was just giving it a test run to see about the data. Early up for work tomorrow, so I didn't want to be up late setting up my phone, but it looks like a good one here. Very good to know!

New build up.
Changelog:
- Merge of android-5.1.1_r2 tag from AOSP
- Theme Engine support from CM-12.1 - Screenshot fixes (NPE and leaks)
- Cellular Networks migration (accessible through main settings now)
- MultiSIM support
- Mute notification sounds threshold
- ParanoidOTA revamp with Material update
- Status Bar’s Double Tap to Sleep
- Misc Bug Fixes
Backuptool is now working, so you don't have to flash SuperSU and GApps all the time. They should be backed up during flash. Lastly, the ParanoidOTA app is now included. You can download and flash ROM updates from there now.
Also, here is a list of our current features. Follow the G+ community for any updates.
Edit: I no longer own this phone. Information in the OP may be outdated and/or incorrect. Please go to the new thread at http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/rom-cyanogenmod-13-nightlies-snapshots-t3363769

It was a fun round of unofficial nightlies but the official upstream CM13 builder for shamu is active! Please use the new download links below to grab the official nightlies. Dirty flash seems to work fine if you go from my unofficial 11-29 build to the official 11-30 one. As mentioned in the first post, I will be ceasing my personal builds for now and leave it to the CM team.
Notes: CyanogenMod's stock kernel forces encryption of storage. Please download one of the third party kernels if you wish to avoid this. Correct, but not nightly and as far as I can tell albinoman887 is also making fixes which implies altering of upstream code. My thread intends to serve as a purely upstream source build.

I would like to say thank you, and I believe that this ROM deserves its own thread respectfully. Since there isn't much action from that other Alpha build and if you are truly building on a nightly basis then this is much appreciated and I look forward to testing.
Thanks!

Thanks for the support and glad to build it. Just to make sure credit is given where due, any bug fixes will be made only by the CyanogenMod team and/or any git contributors. Not sure if you'll get much support from me either but I'll certainly be glad to give any tips I find. For example, if this one specific bug rears its ugly head again, you may need to rename the SetupWizard apk inside /system/app-priv/ as that has been constantly force closing for me prior to today's build.

Very nice ROM. Just to let everyone know I just finished flashing with the Open GApps Pico and it's working fine. I know, it's bad form to use something that's not recommended.
One quick question, do we get any notification that the new nightly is ready to flash or do we just check the download site?

For now just the download site. I may setup something similar to the pushbullet feed Chroma has if people are interested but haven't spent the time to do it yet. New 11-23 build is up now though
Edit: Woot, looks like they fixed the system rw mounting. Hm but my test file disappeared on reboot.. maybe not yet

Thank you so much for the hard work and answering my previous questions. I'll definitely be flashing this and reporting back tomorrow. Question: if I'm on the latest cm12 build currently, can i just flash the new TWRP through Odin over the CWM recovery for the Sport? Or is it required to flash back to the stock firmware?

Been working great all day. Haven't hit any bugs and doze is really helping battery life! Thanks again @1991mustang50 for this and TWRP. Will say that TWRP is slow to take a stock backup (not as slow as the CWM we had prior), but it may be because TouchWiz is so heavy. Either way, thanks again. I know the guys that still use this phone daily really appreciate it and so do us that just use it as a toy now!

I sold it for $100 to a cousin. It was in a rough condition around the edges and had call quality issues
Having issues getting data or cell service - I can see sprint under network operators, but haven't been able to get the phone connected. Is anyone else having the same issue and/or found a workaround?
I've flashed TWRP and the ROM and I have to say that so far there have been very few issues. TWRP makes backups very quickly compared to the previous CWM. The ROM has calls, data, SMS, and MMS working perfectly. One minor issue is that if you go into settings and click on carrier settings it will not recognize the SIM card and it will continuously crash the phone application until you reboot. It's a minor issue with an easy fix so dont worry too much about it. I tested Bluetooth which isn't in very good shape. Listening to music from my phone on a wireless headset was constantly cutting out. However I understand it's a beta build and Bluetooth shouldn't be a very big problem for me as I can just use the headphone jack. This next problem I don't think is specifically tied to the ROM however I would like if anyone can give me any ideas for. Basically write access on the external SD is not working as usual but all of the previous fixes you could use aren't working anymore. Any ideas or fix for marshmallow? Overall, the ROM is in great condition for such a new release. Doze works beautifully and battery life is even better than the previous CM12.1 build. I'll be using the ROM more to see if I can tell you about any other issues I may encounter. Thanks so much for the great ROM and TWRP. I'll be looking forward to future builds.

INTRODUCTION
I followed many guides and saw many videos and came to this point to make my own rom. The bugs will be same as cm and I'll try to fix them if I get time.
Now the thing is whats different in this rom, what makes this rom different. The answer is it isn't. But this is just the beginning, changes will be made as I learn more about it. Features will be added in future. Right now its just cm nightly with a cool new wallpaper, yeah you heard it right, new wallpaper.
New thing about this rom is wallpapers and all about looks and performance. Its smooth and looks good, and not the boring default cm wallpaper. I'll keep changing default wallpapers to make it interesting and any suggestions are welcome.
P.S:- If you can give me a nice wallpaper, I might add it in my next build. Which means your wallpaper can be in this ROM.
I'm new to this thing so please go easy on me. If there's anything you don't like or don't want, I'll respect your view and will think about it. It'll be better if you help me make this rom more awesome rather than criticizing it.

I'm always happy to see a new rom...but why go to the trouble of building a rom to just post a wallpaper & change the wallpaper??
Just seems like a lot of work if there's no actual feature differences/changes?

I know, its just the beginning. And if you see, all cm based roms are similiar with few features of their own or change in toolchain or some added apps. I'm learning and i thought that I'd get more help if people gave their feedback and help me change things.

Great to see more roms occurring here. Keep on building and keep on developing your rom. Looking forward to see the continuation of this rom. Keep up the good work buddy
I think this is great. I love builds like this because I get to experience the changes made from almost stock to your version of custom. I will be following this rom and thank you for sharing your work.

Thank you all, and it means a lot to me. I'm working on few things right now so it'll be added in the coming builds.

Dear pranavthombare,
What difference is between your builds - Legend ROM and cm-13.0-2016XXXX-UNOFFICIAL-bacon (see link https://www.androidfilehost.com/?w=files&flid=60809 )?
And where can I read information about your cm-13.0-2016XXXX-UNOFFICIAL-bacon build?
Thank you in advance!

Well, these are the builds i upload so that i could test few things. Not so much difference , but the legendrom version is tested a lot on the basis of battery and perf, and test builds are ummm, not so good. Something's always missing and there were some bugs, CM guys messed up in between....twice. hence 2 folder. For better experience do use builds from stable folder. You may not enjoy those builds in test folder:silly: but you are welcome to test them and give me feedback
Post #5 says that a rom just for wallpaper is a waste. but hey, we learned a lot since then and we implemented it. If there's a room for improvement, do let us know:highfive:
NEWS: a lot of work is going on in changing the rom. so next build will take time.

Dear pranavthombare,
You has written that "These builds are based on cm nightlies and builds will be updated once in a week or once in 2 week".
But last build was from 30/06 and today is 11/08.
When will be your new build?
Thank you in advance!
Good luck!

Good to see someone following our work. So thank you for that.
Coming back to the update, well my laptop messed up and am trying since. But @jhalayashraj is working on it. Making the build more better just to give you the best experience and not a buggy build. Expect a new build this weekend, and again thanks for supporting our work.
Anyone would like to me replace the stock keyboard or want to keep in in the next build, please give your opinions.

Just flashed it and it seems to be working fine. The only problem i have with it is that it's missing the widevine drm blob and without it apps like netflix won't work. There are a lot of commits on lineage gerrit. Can you maybe take a look at it?

I kanged angler's widevine blob, just like others did on lg g3 / opo, and widevine is still not working somehow huh
Also, Lineage has picked up network usage monitoring support. I will post an updated zip later.
Maybe @razorloves can give a hint on what might be the problem
audio volume limit is too low (flashed over last version 20180103)

Checkout the latest open commit on the official gerrit for an updated device tree. Use the kernel I linked in the first post and a normal vendor.
It will fail to build on display/gps/maybe other stuff, take a look into the open commits for those on gerrit too and cherry pick the fixes.
On the build I mentioned, I'm delaying it until more stuff is in (which there seems to be now). So one may be coming later today.
Here is the aforementioned new build
- Added Privacy Guard
- Added LiveDisplay tile
- Removed NFC (it was broken anyway and was causing battery life and phat logcat issues)
- More stuff I forgot that I read on gerrit
Download link on the main post has been updated. Also, Download here too.
