I built LineageOS 14.1 for Galaxy A7 2016 based on the sources from here.
I want to fix more bugs, but I think I can't because I don't have much time and ablity.
So I decided to release it now.

Good job. And A7 2016 has same chipset that A5 2016 has. Porting this will be easy.

Lineage OS is the new CyanogenMod, a custom rom with customization options and a clean look. You can find more details on the internet.

This will probably get lost in the comments, but it would be good for this to get ported to the A510xx... they both have Exynos 7580.

I waited a long time when someone porting LineageOs. And finally it happened Thank you very much.
@jjjhitel, Please make a permissive kernel for A7 2016. Marshmallow or Nougat, any one or both. I found that you know everything about this phone's hardware and software. Just make a permissive kernel, please? I have used your ROM's and they are really good but, you know, I just want to use Stock ROM

I have a LENOVO K5 Vibe.
I installed several APK Compass that works perfectly on the original ROM but not with AOKP or LineageOS.
Is there anybody who is lucky enough to see his compass work in AOKP or LineageOS on K5 Vibe ?

I have a lenovo k5 plus and also confirm this issue. Skymap shows compass precision as low and no matter how I try to calibrate it, it remains the same.

Google camera is optimised on Snapdragon 800 and over 800... Moreover it is based on Nogout and Oreo..
Don't expect it in stock Lenovo k5..

I just flashed AOSP extended 15.1 along with Gapps nano on my lenovo P2 . Everything works fine but there is no fingerprint sensor security available in settings.
Its like there is no support for fingerprint sensor!
Please help as it really sucks to enter pin/pattern again and again.
