Instructions for oreo go
So....you want a full lagless experience isn't it?(although the lag is only in recent apps.....if you are facing lags other than recents screen....then pls reboot 2 -3 times....it will be fixed)
So i think i have a solution...You may have heard about oreo go....
So we just need a oreo go rom ... isn't it??well thats simple ...but...
You may lose some of the features ....
1>No facelock
2>Simple UI
3>Simple Animation
4>Multi window
5>Reply from notification
6>Some apps will be replaced by go edition of apps(relatively smaller in size and ram consumption)
I will update this list when i find other things
So made you mind??ok here you go

Wow, that was fast - just one hour after OP was posted. Of course the OP was holding back until someone asked ...
Battery is draining fast but any fixes in future will solve that. I tested rom and it's like any beta ROM, buggy, laggy.

Haha thanks, But I know how to install a TWRP, I'm just wondering if it works with the updated bootloader in Nougat ?
There is no option for update in about telephone?
Also, the audio error, should be the same with other models that use Oreo, is the use of the ffmpeg Codec in Oreo, by Google

We’re really excited to announce that we are releasing our Nougat flavour of Paranoid Android. We have a lot in store - with a mix of both features & improvements.
First & foremost, we have moved our code base to be fully CAF based. This brings many improvements to your device. The key improvement here is that Qualcomm hardware is better tuned on the CAF base and with our additional optimisations we can provide a smooth and fluid user experience that will let you enjoy using your device without any lags.
On first launch you’ll notice a clean setup with a beautiful wallpaper from Hampus Olsson who’s teamed up with us again and created several beautiful pieces of artwork. For those of you who don’t know, Hampus is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work stands itself and we’re glad to have him onboard. We have also added several new features and made improvements to the UI of the system that we believe would enhance the overall experience.
Pie
We’ve been working hard on redesigning this key feature of our portfolio and we’re really happy with how it has turned out. The whole design has been reworked and it fits in well with the overall feel of Google’s Material Design. This gives you the opportunity to use more gesture based control for navigating, rather than using the standard Navigation Bar at the bottom of your screen. Expect improvements and additions in the future.
Color Engine
We’re proud to announce our newest feature - Color Engine. Color Engine allows you to seamlessly change the colors of your device to be in Light, Dark (Pixel) and Black modes with a variety of accent colors to choose from. This makes changing the theme of your device really quick without having to install any extra packages on your device.
Major features:
- Reworked Pie
- Color engine
- Immersive mode
- Buttons customization (including navigation bar)
- On the spot controls (OTS)
Minor features:
- SafetyNet Compatibility
- Battery/Notification LED control
- Recent tasks locking
- Battery icon customization
- Google now page in default launcher
- Substratum (OMS) support (Color engine will be deactivated if you use Substratum)
- Quick pulldown
- Various performance and battery improvements
- Display Burn-in protection (for OLED screens)
- More to explore
Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!
Download
Get our latest Moto G5 Plus (potter) build here.
Instructions & requirements

Bugs:
- To use fingerprint navigation you have to disable onscreen buttons
I will try to fix these bugs ASAP
FAQ:
Q: How do I use the fingerprint scanner for navigation?
A: Disable the onscreen navbar in the buttons section of settings
Q: How to enable PIE mode?
A: Enable immersive mode and it will ask you for PIE
Q: When will there be new updates?
A: Updates will happen at least once a week, or when a bug fix or PA rom update is available (usually one to two days in between new release from PA and me building it)
Changelogs:
25th of August 2017
- Update to latest sources
- Enable selinux enforcing
20th of August 2017

Fingerprint gestures are working perfectly here. See above, you're not supposed to use a custom kernel:
"Note: Custom kernels are explicitly unsupported and will cause issues
unless they state that they are AOSPA compatible or AOSPA based!"
Tried it first on stock kernel w a clean flash and it didn't work for me but I'll try again

I dunno, I just flashed EX 1.04-los kernel with no issues that I can tell so far, FP gestures are still working.
EDIT: Installing EX kernel hosed my V4A install, restored backup before EX with default PA kernel and V4A now working properly again.
EDIT 2: Did a reinstall of PA adding EX kernel right away, then after booting & setting up installed V4A and it works now with EX.

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. Navigation gestures / OP gestures are work in progress, you can expect them in future releases. FP is fine, its the animation that is slow, you can turn it down if you want in developer options, i will se if i can do something about it.

The problem is I can't do anything it just says pixel setup stopped
---------- Post added at 05:28 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:25 PM ----------
Ok I solved it by flashing an older version op Gapps
Thanks for the rom
One silly question, is it possible to have Pixel experience without including gapps?
Just because gapps(even Pico) slows down this phone so badly

Same on all pie ROMs for j5 2015 all models.
Known bug I don't know if anyone is working on it, I doubt it as it is not an important feature to give that much time to fix it

Ya I forgot Jens made a fix a while ago. Thanks for the correction :good:
Pros an efficient RAM management, I can open more apps without near full-usage (better than other PIE distros for J5lte), the oc does not heat the cell, well customizable UI. The internal memory usage is very good.
Cons Music Player? Audio FX? Radio? Light sensor does not really operate (as other PIE distros)
I've used Bootleggers, RR, and Viper. This distro is better when you consider the performance, but lags other items.
I still don't try Kraken.
Excuse my english

For playing music you can use Google Play Music app.
Audio FX isn't officially in Pixel Experience..
Radio - yes it doesn't work for now - but soon it will be fixed.
How different "Light sensor operate" in other pie roms?
Which items lags?

What is LineageOS:
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.
Instructions:
- Download the latest build and gapps/root and place them in your phones storage
- Reboot to twrp
- Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik
- Flash it all
- Reboot to system
- SUCCESS!
Known issues:
- You tell me
Please note:
- DO NOT report bugs if you have xposed or other than the rom original kernel
- This build is almost fully stable and its stable enough for daily use
- I recommend using opengapps (link: LINK )
- if the rom doesnt pass safetynet WITH magisk installed, go to the magisk manager settings and re-enable magisk hide (turn it off and turn it on)

Nice, report what you think
I will install this on my dead touch screen bacon
Edit: flashing is so fast, even faster than pie
Edit2: Except battery percentage can't be shown, back swipe not working in trebuchet launcher, digital wellbeing is stopping working; rest is fine, feel smooth and better than Android pie. I believe lineage source is bug because pe is running fine for most phones on Android 10. Hope lineage can fix all their bug and remove some duplicate stuff, which already supports on Android 10 such as theme

Wellbeing is crashing on pie too so idk about that,
But thanks for saying and testing :good:
Just like to say.....did a thorough test yesterday on GPS,as I was out around town and it performed well....
cool! nice to see the continued lineage support!! Almost felt nostalgic while browsing the ringtone and notification sounds. Some of those tunes are there since android 1.5 or 2.1!
Otherwise seems ok. There is some (micro)stutter when scrolling or expanding the notification bar. Also traffic indicators are in the middle instead of lined up to the right. Not many settings but that was never the point of lineage. for an early build it looks pretty good!
Also a tip for the rest: (as of the time of posting) you can flash android 10 open gapps. since it greyed out on their mainpage you have to go to their sourceforge and then the beta folder where android 10 beta gapps can be found. works for me and could log in. No issues so far. flashed magisk too but both safety net checks didn't pass.

try magisk props config module or whatever it was called and change fingerprint to onyx, it might do something, the slutter when scrolling should be fixed in the next build i think and thanks for using it :highfive:
Edit: ok you don't actually have to use the magisk props config module, just turn magisk hide off and on and it will fix safetynet
Hello,
Thanks for the rom, it is super smooth and fast.
Some issues:
Quick charge doesn't work (origninal and aftermaket chargers)
customization doesn't work (black dark theme crashes)
override force-dark autodisables after reboot
battery life seems worse than LOS 16
Regards
For me black theme work.
Magisk and yt vanced working.
Led notification not working.
Swipe lock screen is not accurate. Sometimes I have to slide my finger a few times before unlock.
Long loading photos on galery. On Los16 works fine with the same number of pictures.
Battery profiles are removed? Or moved somewhere else?
Customize navigation buttons?
Besides that, great rom. I love bacon.
I had troubles with gestures (back gesture do not work). Also pill home button is not working (nothing happens when I choose this type of buttons), and I could not find setting to disable hardware buttons under the screen. Besides that it works ok. Google pay is not working and it said that I have rooted Phone (netflix is also not visible on Google play), but safetynet is passed

Wow, really looking forward to the stable (and Plus edition, if it is coming) of the PE 11 ROM
Could you please post the flashing instructions for PE11 ROM, along with the requisite file requirements?
Thanks in advance!
Finally PE11 Purest ROM ever.
I personally was never a fan of crazy-high theme based roms (cR-droid, RR, Havoc I would never try them) but just a the original essence of Google and their fantastic art behind the flawless design has all the perks.
Thank you devs for this wonderful ROM.
Can somebody please confirm whether this ROM has hide-notch option?
Also about the the day-to-day battery endurance.

FOD does not register, its showing this error.
Do i need to flash kernel ?
https://imgur.com/a/EVgnllX
Indeed.
I'm on OOS11 B2
Just unlocked bootloader
Tried flashing PE recovery using fastboot.
My device gets stuck into 'oneplus logo' with fastboot mode written on it and nothing else.
When I restart my device by pressing button combinations it gets me to the stock recovery.
Tried multiple times, same result.
(Why am I not able to boot to PE recovery?)
After I turn off screen using power button, can't seem to turn it on again even on both DOUBLE TAP to wake and using POWER BUTTON?
Edit: Looks like issue with pixel default live wallpaper or any default wallpaper? Bugs out if you do reboots. Please check if you confirm.

Oos 11 has issues with custom recovery, even twrp doesn't work with oos 11 so it is better to rollback to oos 10 and then flash this rom
