Hi all,
I've got water damage on my phone (Samsung galaxy note 4). It seems like it turns on fine, but the screen is totally black and unresponsive. I am trying to make a backup with adb, but it wants me to unlock the screen. I have a security patter which I remember, is there a way I can send the security pattern to unlock the phone through adb? I have seen it is possible with password.
Any help is appreciated!

First of all, I know this has been posted before regarding other devices, but I couldn't find anything about this phone.
Here's the deal, my friend passed away on Friday night, and suicide was highly suspected. His parents very much want to be able to unlock his phone and find any reasons that may point to suicide. They have exhausted all of the pattern lock attempts possible, so now it's stuck at the recovery option.
The phone is definitely on stock, and most likely hasn't been rooted. When I try to unlock it, I can see the actual homescreen in the background before the password recovery screen pops up. The phone is still active, so I can call it and text it if that can help bypass the lock screen in any way.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Wellp, none of the glitch methods I found online seemed to work. But I did manage to get into the phone.
I realized that Firefox/Chrome/Whatever will probably have his password for gmail saved. So his parents let me on his laptop and I managed to find his gmail password in the saved passwords and reset his pattern lock.
My cousin has a galaxy s2 but he has memory loss due to a concussion so he always forgets his phone and gmail password. but he likes being proud n **** so he never tells us the password for safe keeping. is there a app we can download to bypass his lockscreen without deleting everything? also its a stock galaxy for atnt
Not that I know of.
You could try and change the lock screen image to something that might trigger remembering the password.
Or
Change the lock screen to face unlock. This will unlock the phone when your cousin looks at it by recognizing his face.
Go to settings. Privacy, security. And lock screen.
!This is not as secure as a password!

Hi, today i dropped my phone and now the screens just black! The phone seems to be working in the background and I can even connect with smart switch. The problem I have is when connecting to smart switch I can't back it up as my phone is password locked and smart switch keeps prompting to unlock the password on phone without an option to unlock using the applications interface.
Is there anyway I can unlock the phone. I want to back it up before sending off for a fix (insurance claim).
I would really appreciate a solution.

Hi, I'm having troubles with my Galaxy S7. I had recently changed my pattern lock to a pin lock and when I had to take my EOC's today I was required to turn my phone off. When I had turned my phone back on I was met with the pattern lock screen. I had attempted to put in my old pattern but it keeps telling me that it is invalid. After a few tries, it had told me that I only have 9 attempts left before it deletes all of my information. Has anyone else dealt with this? Do I have to take it to the T-Mobile store? Or is there something I can do at home?

I'm having trouble with my Leeco Le S3, it was working fine until it completely froze yesterday
it was stuck on the lock screen and didn't react to any button push (power/volume buttons), the screen was unresponsive as well.
After a few rebbots it started reacting to button pushes and screen touch
but it doesn't recognize my unlock password anymore
Whenever i type my code, it says :
Code:
Phone is locked. Please try again in 30 second(s).
i never changed my unlock code so i have no idea why it isn't recognizing it.
When someone calls me, the phone rings and i can answer fine, i get email and several other notifications on the lock screen.
I read that it was possible to unlock the phone using my google account, but how to trigger the recovery through my google account ?
Any help is welcome
